Sauron walked quietly into the house, stepping with a panthers gait. Hmm, Vep was in here...no sign of anyone else..which was odd they had a huge family..and she had this look on her face. He pursed his lips behind her back. Hmm.

He stepped forward took the seat beside her, fed the fish. Replaced the lid. Slowly while saying nothing at all. That was a soul deep pout on her face, a face that reflected both his and his wifes. He leaned closer slowly, so slowly, stalking a flighty creature. Then he kissed her noisily on the cheek. Then he raised his eyebrows expectantly in a look that said 'talk', without voicing a sound. She was never this quiet. It pained his heart when she was this maudlin.

His radaku stalked in behind him and with a huff lay on a rug.

He grinned at her pretending to be gravely struck by her light slaps. He widened his arms so she could climb on his lap. At her words though he froze. "What makes you say that luv? Because he wants to go to Oba?" Sauron rubbed his face. Such heavy thoughts for such a feathery light child. Ugh.

"Every so often, young crazies like to go off and see the world, its called a travel itch, your sister got it too, she just didn't get all that far yet. I have a feeling that Bar has something to do with it and it was right close to one of the battles when she got it and seeing it made her hesitate. She will go, I have no doubt. Somewhat the same thing happened with me and your mother, once I found her I wasn't going far. Young love you see is most irrational." He waggled his eyebrows at her.

"Kres loves you and us very much. Everyone! Loves you. You know why? Because my sweet you are just you. He poked her nose gently with his finger. "I wouldn't trade you for a million slavering radakus, and you know how much I like them." He bounced his knee for her.

"Kres has to go and find some adventure thats all."

Sauron cupped his youngest daughters head between large, battle roughened hands. "Don't you dare Vepkia." His own eyes had started to water, she really was his cryptonite, more so then even Kelina. "Stahp that right naow."

"You know once your a little bigger you will not want to stay in this house forever, I see it in you, I know its there, you can pretend but you can't hide it, not when there is a huge giant world out there for you to discover and conquer. And I know you will. You are stronger than anyone realizes." He squished her into a hug, not able to help himself. He couldn't handle her like this the poor dear. It was not fair that she was so small and weak. It cast a pall of worry over all of her family members. It seemed it was just part of being a twin and so far he had found no healers who could help. Maybe if they contacted Ime, they hadn't seen her around for a long time though. "What if we asked Mommy if we could go on an adventure, just you and me?"

Sauron wanted to thump his head against the table, hard enough to disturb the fishies swimming in their bowl. "Just because our family isn't all in the same place does not mean we don't love each other, we can of course ask your mother if she would like to accompany us." He brushed a hand through her hair. Sometimes having children was not all rainbows and butterflies, sometimes people got hurt and sometimes tiny shifters tied overly large ones into big gnarly knots.

Vepkia had a special talent for this he was sensing. Just think Vep the hot sun, beautiful red sand some of those naked cats the Obans are so fond of." A vacation would do them all good but it wasn't really going to be one, there had to be some healer out there that could help or at least recommend something.

"What do you want?" He never really thought to ask her, her opinion should count for a lot after all.

"Just because a family is not always together doesn't mean we don't love each other, we will not always at every moment be together, your mother had to leave to fight and took Kres with her, while I had Seze here, and we still love each other. Enough to have triplets," he poked her belly. For being of prentice age Vep was still very behind..adorable but behind. Which was the whole reason for all of this talk. It would be easier if Kelina was doing this Vep had her Daddy wrapped around her finger so many times...

"Yes the perzi are pretty ugly but they have a charm kind of, I've never been to Oba but Kiyelt lives there now, and he hasn't been able to tame a perzi. So unexpectedly something you wouldn't think was tough is. "I want you to be big and strong too." They were looking for that very thing. "I don't think our family will ever stop loving each other."

"That's an excellent idea Veppy, what are we going to get for them? Mama and Seze might like some of the silk they have there, maybe a stylish carved bow, Vuka might like a journal to record all the thoughts we never get to hear from him." Sauron snickered. His children were all so different he loved it so much.

Now his smallest daughters pout, if they could weaponize that, it would be so powerful as to fell whole armies with a look. "You are going to rule the world one day arn't you Veppy?" He grinned at her. He was sure she would once she got out there and got going with whatever it was she chose to pursue. "All the adventures for my Veppy." He proceeded to tickle her mercilessly. One of the greatest joys for sure, tickling the worlds cutest child.

Sauron thanked Serin he had found a stop button for all of that talking, and he thought her sister was talkative, but at least Sezarra wasn't nervous about everything, and this wasn't even the one born during wartime. Hence his concern to get her grown and fit and then hopefully his little spawnlet would gain some serious confidence. Well a dad could dream couldn't he? He wanted her to be healthy and well and happy that was all that should really matter. "Your right precious, don't worry yourself my little shifter bloom."

"They have lots of nice things in Oba or so I here, I look forward to our grand adventure."
