Ming'we was sad to leave Sauti behind but she knew she would return home once things were taken care of. So as they made their way into Tale she looked at Isolder and smiled at him. Now that they were on a less rocky terrain she hoped his familiar would be able to walk better. Or at least be on more sure footing. "Do you need to stop and rest, Iso?" The hybrid was worried about him more than herself, though she had to admit her feet were growing tired. Maybe a small break would do them good, but only if Isolder said he wanted to. She knew that he was looking for his brothers and she didn't want to make him miss them by an hour if she wanted to stop.

Iso turned to look at her, also smiling, he couldn't help it, "Hmm?" Oh she looked a little tired, well he could man up, he wasn't all that tired but she and his zanteer looked a little worn, the trick to a good journey was the proper pace. "Oh, I guess we could stop, we made good progress I think." He held his hand out to her to help her to a comfortable place to sit, not that she needed his help, he just wanted to touch her. Kalith churred and bumped them affectionately with his head before curling in a ball and sighing contentedly, Tale was much better then Sauti in his opinion. "Its good to rest the feet," he said tilting his up on a rock and sighing in bliss. "Good Idea Ming." After Tale came Oba which would be their hardest marker, then they would enter Matori.

"So what do you think it will look like in Matori?" he asked.

It was an automatic response to take his hand when he offered it. Ming'we nodded her head in agreement. "Tale is more flat than Sauti, so we'll cross it faster." Though she did wonder just how fast they could travel. Once she was sitting she took a deep breath and grinned at Kalith. "I think he's happy to be off the rocks." A small chuckle left her.

When she was asked about Matori she lifted her shoulders. "I'm not sure. I've not been that far south. I'm not even sure what Oba looks like." Truthfully she'd only ever seen Sauti, Tale, and Jauhar. Two of which she had lived in while the third she had merely passed through.

"Oh thats a good point, I'm glad, especially for his sake," he gestured to Kalith. "The heat will not make him a happy camper but it will be so worth it once he reaches Matori, I don't know how long it has been since he came from there but I'm sure he will be most glad to see it again. His captors were Oban and if they were smart they would have shipped him right away up north because he is new and exotic but that might not be the case.

Kalith's whiskers twitched and he turned his head to see a huge herd of aldabuck milling around. He shook himself a little and settled back down. Intent it seemed on a nap.

Obviously whatever had happened to Ming had been tramatic but he didn't see any visible scars and didn't want to bring back painful memories to haunt her. Without her family being connected to her anymore small talk had become that much more difficult.

"Do you have a favorite familiar Ming?"

She grinned as her eyes rested on the napping familiar. He seemed to be a rather easy going creature. Ming even let out a small laugh when she noticed how Kalith ignored the Aldabuck. "Lazy bones, you don't want to chase them?" With a shake of her head she left it alone and looked up at Isolder.

What she noticed right away was the struggle he seemed to have in talking with her. Ming'we gave a frown and looked away. Was it something she had done? The question that he asked her when he found the words caused her to peek at him. "You don't know?" Turning toward him fully she'd give a soft blush. "The Nondwa." When she'd seen a large group of them Iso had been with her. He'd also helped her to be able to pet one.

Kalith snorted at her, he ate fish, not antelope. He had standards, if it didn't have fins and gills it wasn't worth eating in his opinion. Isolder snickered.

"Really?" His face glowed, "Well I should have known! Sometimes Ming my dear I can be a little dense." She was such a beautiful soul, did he really deserve her? Well he would like to think he did, he hadn't done much overtly awful in his life, but really who had time for a silly moral dilemma. He should be enjoying himself. "I want this, I want this so much Ming'we. To be here with you, adventuring to a new and interesting world."

His younger brothers were grown up enough to be on their own, Isaris in particular seemed pretty happy with his man. And if the catastrophe that had separated them had not have happened, he might not have found Val and Isolder might not have found Ming. He wasn't ready to let go of his family but it was high time he did something for himself for a change.

She shook her head at the response that Kalith gave her. Ming'we would have to make sure he got his exercise somehow. Perhaps she would make sure he went for a swim when they got to Matori. "Lazy butt." She teased the Zanteer again with a grin.

With a nod to Isolder she smiled softly. "That's alright, Iso. I adore you either way." Ming'we didn't mind if he was dense or not. He was one of two people in the world she cared about now. "I'm glad. Since I disowned my family you and Callum are all I have." Eventually she would need to get the two to meet. If she could ever pin her friend down long enough. He was true to the nomad ways and traveled.

His heart broke for her, she had lost almost anything. "Well in that case, I'm grateful to the man and I haven't even met him yet." Isolder chuckled. "I'm sure Kalith will perk right up with water, hes just not a land critter that's all. I suppose I would feel the same way if he dragged me through the ocean."

"Maybe he will get a kick out of me learning to swim, can you swim?" he asked curious. Maybe she could teach him how to swim.

"I'm uh, glad to be here for you, since you were there for me." He was a big sap on the inside he couldn't help it, so few things made him mad. He was just a happy guy for the most part, but Ming had been hurt and she had worked her way into his heart. "I want to do whatever I can to help you build the home and the life you want." As long as he got to share it with her of course.

"You would like him. He's very carefree." And she hoped that Callum stayed that way. The last thing she wanted was for the hybrid she claimed as her brother to become serious and bitter, like her. Ming took a moment to think about Cal and what he was doing. Since he was the only other person in the world that she cared about anymore, apart from Isolder.

When a question was tossed her way she turned a curious eye to the Zanteer laying on the ground. "He might try to figure out what you're doing." A grin spread across her face. "No, I don't think I can. I've never tried though." Ming'we did wonder how well such an endeavor would go; her trying to swim. Likely not all that great.

"Well, right now my home hasn't been dreamed up yet and my life is taking me across Tendaji with the man that stole my heart. So I think you have it covered." Never mind that he was giving in to her nomad ways and traveling with her. It was something she loved about him, among other things.

Isolder covered his heart with both hands, "Oh Ming you flatterer!" He chuckled. She had brought him so much joy he hoped to Serin that he could give her the same in return. "Well maybe we can learn to swim together, I'm sure Kalith will be our lifeguard, I don't really fancy sinking to the bottom myself. A lovely view of the fishies sure but I do like breathing."

He kinda wished he had gills, he would be less nervous then. The journey seemed to go a lot faster with someone to talk too, an added perk. "Just so you know, you stole my heart too." He said and winked.

"You know I think the land is changing a little, we must be getting close to something I'm sure."

A giggle escaped her when she saw Isolder's actions and a cute blush reached her cheeks, highlighting the crescent moons that were there. "Iso!" A playful swat was given to his arm. Ming'we shook her head and looked at Kalith before returning her gaze to her shifter. Yes, he was hers. It was a thought that made her feel at home. "I am not so sure I want to learn to swim. I am likely not that good at it." Not to mention there was the fear that she would drown.

When Isolder let her know that she had his heart she grinned at him. Though she did playfully reach out and take hold of his braid so that she could tug on it. "Don't tease, you evil thing, it's not nice." Ming laughed and leaned toward him so that she could rest her head against his shoulder.

He grinned unabashedly, "Ow! Who said I was teasing?!" He giggled. "Seriously you do!" He gently stroked her hair as she was so conviniently close to him, and sighed happily. Would that they could stay this way forever. He could wish that she would be in his future forever, that would be nice. He wanted her there very much. Then since he was indeed evil, he wrapped both arms around her and squished her tight to him so he could shower kisses over her face.

Kalith grunted at them, if they were going to carry on like this they would never get to Oba. But even he had to admit their antics were amusing, crazy young pups.

She was fine with leaning on him but when he squished her and started to give her kisses she squealed and laughed. "Iso!" Ming squirmed and wiggled until she could wrap her arms around him in return and push her weight onto him so that they both fell over. "Ha!" She said in triumph. From there she simply nuzzled Isolder.

Being with him made her feel lighter. Happier. "What will you do when you find all of your brothers...?" Ming'we worried that once he found them all he would leave her. Family was hard to leave and if you only just get them back... She truly wasn't sure if she could picture Iso simply walking away from them.

"Oof!" he said as she pinned him, no more than he deserved though. He couldn't stop smiling it hurt his face.

Her question sobered him for a moment. "Faint, most likely. I don't know if there are any even left." He snuggled close to her and just basked in the comfort for a bit. I'm not as worried about the older ones as I was about the younger two. They are what was really important to me."

He was stepping into a new phase of his life, one that had Ming as the closest person to him. He would do right by her like his father never had for his mother namely loving her as she should be loved and taking care of his family. His eyes watered as he thought about it.

"Aw, no, no fainting." Ming pouted. It wouldn't do any good to do that. As he cuddled her she smiled and listened. The hybrid understood the need to know if the younger ones were doing alright. After all, the older ones could fend for themselves.

Sadly, speaking of brothers made her think of her own. Her twin that she had left behind. If only she knew his mind and whether or not he was going to follow the Alkidike path or that of an earthling. "I am sure they are fine." Ming'we reassured Isolder. Of course her words were also meant for herself.
