Anne finds it easy to make connections with others, and has a talent for warm, sensitive language, speaking in human terms, rather than with pure logic and fact. Now it wasn't as if she was particularly anything special. She was practically human besides the fact she could shape-shift into a couple different animals whether it be spiritually or physically. This had made her stand out, and not in a good way. Most of her masters had made her stay in animal form, often time's beating her to get frustration out and simply because they could.
Over the years, Anne had gotten silenter and didn't seem to speak much. Instead, she read books in any free time that might have been given to her. Often times when she was alone with the children. Though she didn't quite understand how such children could be so kind and then to only grow up cruel. She supposed she never would. The most she could do was remain kind and not hold it against her masters for what they did.
Finally, things turned up for Anne. After years of slavery, she was finally set free by the family. If one could call it free. The daughter of this generation had gotten a letter from a place called Black Rose Academy. Instead of sending the daughter, they sent her instead. She figured it was more so to finally be rid of her, or to do it as some sort of punishment. The real reason wasn't that dramatic. The family just used her as an expendable since the daughter didn't want to leave her friends. So here she was at the academy...finally free...or was she?
Extra: She is almost always wearing a hat. Mainly because her ears and tail of her dominant shift tend to come out when startled or something of the sort.
