════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════Later that night a horse the color of rust clip-clopped into the Castle Town walls. Unbeknownst to the two who were on it the archers were ready to take them out should they not recognise the Hero. Link was golden in the light of his lantern, and Ambiance too as the only source of light under the darkened moon. Link wasted no time talking to Stalweather or the others this time. He rode straight up to the Castle and demanded he have a word with the Royal Family. The guards were reluctant to let him in, but eventually relinquished their grip on their duty and allowed Link and Ambiance up to the conference hall where the king was sitting with his generals. Link whispered in Ambiance's ear and asked for her to relay the story, as he found her to have a certain way with words ( emotion_awesome ).

Ambiance~ Aura of Peace Oh, if only I could have been there I'd be a hand for the sinking Little children who might be in such a position as to read this text might need to remember that some of the things the heroes do over the course of the story should not be attempted at home. Some events, in a similar way, should not be tried in the residence or in the house of the local government power. Ambiance felt a strong bit of concern at the idea of so boldly charging into the audience chamber of the king, however, given the pretext and the very real concern of all that had been witnessed previously, these concerns paled in comparison to the imminent concern of war and of the deaths that came as a result of the behemoths that were faced on the other side of the portal.
Ambiance still seemed little worse for the wear, as anyone could guess might have been because of the skirmish. However, the magic of the fairies was more than enough to heal the fatigue while the potion that had been so kindly provided had sealed up the wounds that the creatures had caused. She borrowed the practice and the many hours of training that had made up the majority of her youth to approach the king and his generals, and with controlled and proper bow, she addressed those that were assembled.
"Your Majesty, noble lords, please forgive our intrusion. It is not without due cause."
She straightened and lowered her left arm so that it was at her side, though her right arm remained in a fist, and close to her heart. Though she carried her sword, she wanted there to not be a concern that she would suddenly draw it. It might not have mattered terribly much, considering how she was not dressed for battle, but this was a matter of formality in Ambiance's eyes.
Now... there was something very troubling to report. However, Ambiance knew well enough that to explain simply and forwardly might easily cause some to point fingers and to blame the two of them for what happened. Just as easily, the blame might end up back on the king, which would not be an honorable route or much of a safe one if one wanted to continue to help actually protect the people. It required a hint of careful action and some choice tact. Yet, in a state of urgency, could tact really be held onto?
"The news we bring concerns the gate, the occupants of the Twilight Realm, the foe the people face, and additional information that would benefit foreign affairs, if it please his Majesty to hear it."
I wish I could protect you here Oh, please don't cry, now, smile

════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════There was murmuring amongst the generals seated with the King, none of which reached him; and when there was treat of this occurring the sovereign held up a hand to silence his confidants.
"My... It appears Link has finally made friends with someone who knows proper speech: a miracle!" He clasped his hands together rather loudly, seeming to replace a laugh, and grew more serious instantly.
"It appears the Hero has gotten his first real taste of adventure. This, of course, is a grim sentencing for our fair kingdom. ... Please, what of this event can you tell us that we have not heard? This attack is from the Gerudo, is it not?" The King first appealed to Link, who deferred him back to Ambiance. Suddenly the King seemed to want to hear this tale of calamity.

Ambiance~ Aura of Peace Oh, if only I could have been there I'd be a hand for the sinking That the king was aware that this was of the attack involving Gerudo did help considerably.. and it gave her a base to work with. The reports they would have received would either have come from the Gerudo people, who she understood to be local to the desert, and likely from the few guards or messengers who had the means to high-tail it back to Hyrule where the news could reach the king.
"While there, some of us had the opportunity to venture to the Twilight Realm. There, we met two different peoples. One group was passive, and while they were not easily understood, they were not hostile or aggressive. The second group was much larger, their touch was potent and dangerous, and they were aggressive. It was the second group that spilled out of the portal in Gerudo lands and at the base of the Colossus. None of the peaceful locals of the Twilight Realm came through that portal."
This was the basis of her knowledge. She lowered her right arm so that it was at her side. It felt much easier to speak freely knowing that the king was not harsh or particularly against hearing more. Though, that he did seem to work with the severity of the situation, did allow her to proceed without feeling anxious.
"We cannot place the blame on the Gerudo for this event... as their civilians were in just as much danger as the Hyrulians that were present."
I wish I could protect you here Oh, please don't cry, now, smile

"One day. I will be queen" **************************************************************** Upon the appearance of Link and his friend, a few shiekan warriors were creeping in the shadows. Skillfully hiding behind pillars, in the ceiling, you name it. A close eye just in case they needed to strike. A sound of clicking shoes traveled through the halls. "Father" A girls voice rang elegantly down the halls. Soon into view came the very princess of Hyrule. Princess Zelda. The princess stood elegantly in the door way. "Yamrhya and I felt a strong magical presence back towards the gerudo desert..." The princess claimed ignoring the other officials. The her eyes caught Link's attention. The hero of time? Here? Also just who was this girl with him? Zelda walked further into the room. No one saw Yamrhya shift into the room. The sheika mystic seer was now standing by the king. Zelda was standing in between link and her father the king. "So you're the fabled hero. It's nice to to put a face to the name" Zelda said bowing respectfully to Link. The princess was a vision of pure beauty. **************************************************************** "I must restore the light" Mood:Calm Location: Hyrule Castle Company: King of Hyrule and company Thoughts: The hero? ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ "Young lady," said one of the generals taking this all to be a little unbelievable, "how can you expect us to believe that the Gerudo wouldn't perform such a travesty? More importantly, what do you suppose will happen when they need someone to blame if it was as you say?" Before he could continue, though, a hand brushed off his worry.
"I see.." The King was clearly more willing to reason. He knew the prophesy, just like the rest of the men at the table, but unlike them he actually believed in it, or at least put more stock into its possibility, and so knew to take evil forces, which seemed to be the enemy here rather than political enemies, as a viable option in the life of Link. "What you are saying, then, is that everyone was attacked by something. And you're sure this thing which came from the Twilight, it was not influenced by Gerudo. ... But then how ever did you manage to make it?? Mistake me not--I'm glad you are here with us--but it is surely unlikely."
It was around this time Zelda appeared. Link, who'd kept his mouth shut and head down out of solemnity mixed with embarrassment, looked up and was struck dumb in an entirely new way by the princess' beauty. He fumbled a bit and dropped to his knee, not looking up for a moment until he heard her speaking of the energy they'd sensed. The King called for Yamrhya to relax and cool his s**t in general (XP) while motioning toward Ambiance.
"Dear guest, this is the Princess Zelda. Zelda..." He said allowing Ambiance to fill in her name.

Ambiance~ Aura of Peace Oh, if only I could have been there I'd be a hand for the sinking Ambiance held her tongue as the general made his counter and began to question her account, as Ambiance was prepared to engage. Yet, she continued to hold it, and felt that her answer was temporarily set on hold with the arrival of the princess, and the her to Hyrule's throne, if she heard correctly back at the festival. While it made Ambiance wonder a small degree about how closely the princess had been listening to the conversation, these questions had no place to be asked here.
She noted the degree of puzzlement in the princess' expression, and recognized it as due. Though, as many, this puzzlement was not one that came from recognizing the fabled Hero of Time. The Hero Next Door was known in his neighborhood. Though, the realization of being in the presence of fabled nobility and fabled hero was enough to remind Ambiance of how out of place she actually was.
At the cue, she gathered herself together and bowed before the princess. Proper introductions were due to all.
"Ambiance Yuna, child of Labrynna." She did not quickly rise, as she wasn't sure it was her place to do so. Such an odd place to be, when she was unsure if her land was known, or whether her ancestry had any weight. Nevertheless, the nobility would likely want, or need, to know where it was that she came from. She had no attachment to Gerudo, Hyrule, or the Twilight realm. A general might point this out. She was ready to defend herself on that point, but this wasn't something to worry about with introductions.
"It is a distinct pleasure to make your acquaintance, your Highness."
She straightened and turned her attention again to the king, who had questioned the likelihood of their arrival to the palace even after claiming being present at the attack and the festivities. Ambiance would not clarify this further, as this was already accurate.
"I was blessed to be in Link's company, and it was because of his horse that we had the speed to escape and to so quickly come to the palace." Unlikely, but possible, especially where the Goddesses were concerned. Ambiance bowed her head.
I wish I could protect you here Oh, please don't cry, now, smile

"One day. I will be queen" **************************************************************** Zelda bowed her head respectfully to Ambiance then. Zelda was actually fixated on Link. "Rise Hero of Time" Zelda's sweet yet stern voice mused to Link as if she wasn't sure of Link's purpose. The princess walked next to her father. A habit that formed over the years. Either be surrounded by Yamrhya and his sheikan assassins or stay close to her goofball of father. The princess studied the room. She could tell the royal advisers were all but blaming the gerudian people. "This does not feel of Geurdo mysticism. Father, this feels much deeper..more ancient in origin" Zelda said as she was lightly cuffing her hand close to the center of her chest. Zelda was looking to her father, but her gaze was returning back to Link. He was very attractive. In a goofball, lazy guy kind of way. The princess lowered her hands and gave a small shrug then. "What will you do,father?" Zelda asked the king, her eyes still fixated on Link. This time in a much more shy way. Yamrhya was simply standing in the background. Getting bored of this. He was hoping someone would send him off with work. Or to hear an amusing argument from the nobles. **************************************************************** "I must restore the light" Mood:Calm Location: Hyrule Castle Company: King of Hyrule and company Thoughts: The hero? ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════Link did as Zelda asked and got up slowly. At the festival they hadn't had the chance to be properly introduced, so this was a special treat for him; anticipated since they last saw each other. There was a spot of silence in which the two seemed to melt and congeal together in some untouchable, unseen realm. This was broken, however, by Zelda and the King's talk.
"What do you mean, dear? What have you sensed?" And then to Ambiance. "... Can you add anything to this? You were in the area, yes?"

Ambiance~ Aura of Peace Oh, if only I could have been there I'd be a hand for the sinking Ambiance's attention, having been on the exchange of the princess and her father, missed the subtle interaction between Zelda and Link. Perhaps that was for the best, as fate had spoken long before concerning the matter. So focused on the task at hand, and of the great worry that it was, Ambiance felt inclined to answer the king when his question was posed.
"Link and I were there, yes... And, because the gate was open, we were able to see two different groups. One was the brutal army that spilled out and violently attacked. The second group was docile, smaller, and seemed to be just as afraid of the attackers as we were. The attackers, on touch, almost burned, though the burn itself drained energy and felt toxic. It's hard to explain... But contact alone was painful. They are weak to magic, or concentrated energy, that might be found in staves. They have also proven to be resistant to blades and physical attacks."

"One day. I will be queen" **************************************************************** Zelda could only listen as the woman, Ambiance spoke. The princess now going deep into her mind. Trying to think. Zelda's face turned slightly stern yet fearful. The princess looped her arms around his father's massive arm. Resting his her head slightly on it. Something she did when she started to get a headache. "I don't know...it was just a source of power...it was scary" Zelda said aloud for all to hear. After another few moments, Zelda released her fathers arms and sighed gently. Her gorgeous blue eyes peering over to Link's. Yet again meeting his eyes. A slight blush tinted her cheeks. Yamrhya walked to the kings side. Kneeling down, looking to the floor. "Shall I study the Gerudo desert for clues?" The sheikan seer asked his king. The other nobles in the room whispering amongst themselves. Zelda gave a slight rub to her forehead. **************************************************************** "I must restore the light" Mood:Calm/Concerned Location: Hyrule Castle Company: King of Hyrule and company Thoughts:.... ════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════The King nodded thoughtfully as he took all this information in. There were so many things to consider: war, trade agreements, the public's opinion of how he handled this debacle, etc. He patted the side of Zelda's head gently as he thought it over. As she left to look at Link again, who was blushing slightly, the Sheikah called Yamrhya offered a suggestion. The King was silent for a moment, and when the other men at the table finally quieted themselves he spoke.
"I will send a legion of our finest troops with you so that you can survey the area..." Then to Link, "If what Ms. Yuna says is so, then it may be time for our Hero to fulfill his destiny. For this he will need the Sword of Evil's Bane. Link, please journey North, for it is on good authority that the blade is in the mountains there. And to the rest of you... May the goddesses be with you."

Ambiance~ Aura of Peace Oh, if only I could have been there I'd be a hand for the sinking Then it had been decided. The sheikan seer would look to the desert and search for clues, with a fair chance being that they would meet the Gerudo who would also search the area... hopefully hostilities would be kept to a minimum... Though, it might be this way if the number of soldiers accompanying the seer was kept to a reasonable number. Ambiance worried at the mention of power, and that there was a source of it. Was this power source what powered the monsters? Was it within the assailants themselves? Did it drive them? Were they changed from a more docile state or is this their original being?
It was hard to rule anything out at the current moment, at least as far as Ambiance's thoughts were going. It was not unheard of for rocks to live. The creatures they had fought were not unlike boulders or stones that were sentient and in motion. With that thought, it was possible that these creatures were rocks at one point, whether unfeeling or sentient, and if either, might have been transformed by this power. There was also the chance that their origin was from something else entirely, or that they were created to be the way they were. Indeed, the latter thought was more worrisome to Ambiance, for one couldn't converse easily with a created monster who was driven to be so by another force.
There was so much they didn't know. Ambiance bowed before the king and princess, as what made sense for the decision and the end of a conversation, though her mind was still turning and churning. The potency of what the princess felt was enough to hurt her, or weary her... which was more proof of what she was sensing being abnormal and strange. Or... it seemed to be. Ambiance couldn't know for sure unless she knew Princess Zelda better.
Ambiance turned from the group and her hand drifted to her hair, combing through it and absently working through some of the tangles that had gathered there. Perhaps finding a way home would have to wait, Ambiance thought to herself, there was so much already going on that she couldn't abandon it now. What if she was needed for something else? The goddesses alone would have any idea. She glanced to Link, he had a mission now, to find the Sword of Evil's Bane. This was the task of the hero.
I need to understand this world better, Ambiance decided internally. Maybe there was a way to find out what these opponents really were and where they came from.
I wish I could protect you here Oh, please don't cry, now, smile

"One day. I will be queen" **************************************************************** The many nobles that filled the room all nodded to their kings words. Zelda only looked to her father. Could Link and Yuna handle such a journey? It would be long and possibly dangerous. The princess went to speak until the Sheikah stepped before her. "I only need my two most trusted, my king" Yamhrya said with the up most confidence. "Yamrhya....we do not know what you will face. My teacher and friend, take the legion. If not for my father but for me" Zelda protested sweetly yet sternly. Yamrhya eyes watched her closely then his eyes drifted to Link. "And what of them?" Yamrhya asked looking to Zelda again. Zelda stepped forward, closer to Link. "Please...return safely" Zelda said slightly bowing her head to Link and then to Yuna. Zelda looked back to Link with a sweet smile. "I would love to hear the story of how this journey took place.....safe travels" Zelda said shyly. Stepping away from Link and back to her fathers side. Yamrhya gave a narrowed eye sneer to Link. The Sheikah Seer clicked the heel of his boot. Two more sheikah men appeared bowing next to him. "My king...princess..I shall return. Gather the legion" Yamrhya commanded now looking to his two henchmen. The two men vanished in tufts of smoke. Yamrhya turned and practically stormed out the room. What seemed like twenty other sheikah assassins came descending from the ceiling and shadows, following after Yamrhya. **************************************************************** "I must restore the light" Mood:Calm/Concerned Location: Hyrule Castle Company: King of Hyrule and company Thoughts:....
