■ GENEROUS I've always been the friendly sort. Good-natured I'm patient and like helping people. Taking time to help out those around me I'm the type that would offer a homeless person a meal. I give whenever I can, knowing that it helps others and makes everyone happy.
■ HARDWORKING Since getting away from my old life and habits, I've become focused on other things. I'm committed to being a good father and to work hard in my career. I have goals for myself and I'm working hard to accomplish not only what I want in life, but what I want for my daughter.
■ ETHICAL When I realized I lost one chance for a family I didn't want to lose another. I took a good long look at my ethical values when I found out I had a second chance to be a father. I used to be a misguided fool with extremely bad judgement. Since getting away from my ex-girlfriend and becoming a father, I've become far more adamant about not drinking or doing drugs.
■ IMPRESSIONABLE Being quite the alcoholic and addict to drugs I was pretty influenced by my own impulses. After a number of years of being clean and sober I still find I'm weak-willed, easily influenced by others that continue to use alcohol and drugs. If sort of always been that way, which lead me to hang out with the wrong people.
■ CIRCUMSPECT Since I'm easily influenced by people I'm extremely cautious. I tend to avoid people that will potentially cause me to relapse. In fact I tend to avoid unnecessary risks. I don't like taking risks and am unwilling to watch my daughters do so or anyone else for that matter. Although I'm not assertive in stressing my wishes I try my best to prevent the worst from happening.
■ SELF-CRITICAL I'm also very critical of myself. I tend to reflect on my past and think badly about myself. No matter how much I've worked to be better, I never think it is good enough. I always question whether I'm a good enough father or if I'm doing anything else right. Luckily my daughter keeps reminding me that I'm doing a far better job than that mother of hers (or lack thereof).

CHILDHOOD My childhood was typical with a mother, a father, and an older brother (Matthew). My brother and I were pretty tight before our parents ended up getting a divorce. Our parents tried to make it work but after a while trying just wasn't working out I guess. During that time he and I jumped between houses. Ultimately my brother ended up settling at our mother's and I landed at my father's come time to enter high school.
SCHOOL YEARS Entering high school things changed and not for the better. I ended up getting into the wrong crowd; spent most of my time drinking, doing drugs, and partying. My Father constantly gave me lectures about telling him where I was but I never cared. I was a rebel back then. It got to the point he threw me out of his house. When that happened I ended up back at my mum's with my brother. He'd become rather studious and had the grades every parent wanted their kids to have. Honestly if it hadn't been for my overachieving brother I probably wouldn't have even graduated. Sadly despite at least getting my grades up to graduate I still didn't stop my overly bad habits.
POST GRADUATION Graduating my brother found himself going places. I on the other hand left home and found myself on the streets, jumping between friends' houses. During that time I found myself with a number of girls one of which ended up pregnant, her name was Megan. Despite still drinking and doing drugs I tried to get her to lay off them while she had the child, although it hardly ended that way. When the child was born we named her Gertrude. However shortly after being born she was taken away from us as we were unfit to be parents.
When that happened I tried changing my ways. It wasn't until about a month later that I found out that the Megan was pregnant. Now I'd cut my relationship with her, so I wasn't sure if the child was really mine. Sure I might have slept with her once but I wasn't going to take her back just because of that. Instead I waited till the child was born and got a DNA test. By that time, I'd gotten reasonably cleaned up, no drugs and no alcohol. With the test coming back positive, I managed to get custody of child. That child I named Gabriella and she is my life these days.
With a stable job and a place to live I jumped between working, taking care of my daughter, and schooling. Despite getting custody, I tried to keep Megan in Gabriella's life but she just didn't seem interested and never showed up. So dropping the visitation Gabby and I have been doing alright on our own. It wasn't until recently that we found out Gabriella is very special. Magic apparently and will be going to a special school called Hogwarts. I only hope this isn't a bad thing.
With Gabriella in school she seemed to enjoy it coming to like a sport called Quidditch. She came home during the winter holidays her first year asking if I’d had any other kids before her. I felt then that she should know about Gertrude. As it turned out my first daughter was magic also and had been adopted. Gabby suggested Gertie come visit during the summer which I wasn’t going to turn down the idea. So, during the summer I met my first born daughter and her mother Tiffany Adelwood. Gertie was perfect in every way. Tiffany and I kept in touch mostly for the kids and things developed from there.
Things soon blossomed between Tiff and I. When I found out we were expecting, I asked Tiff to marry me. Following Brennie's safe return we were wed at the end of the summer of 2040. We weren't about to have the wedding without him. That Christmas we had our son Grigor. The girls were thrilled.
Before long both our girls graduated and Gertie even got married. We now have two grandsons Elijah and Isaiah.
