User Image Mordrem had come from his recluse to speak to the Magus about the new layout for the bioluminecent lichen he grew that illuminated the entire Castrum de Drac. The Lichen itself was rather difficult to grow in odd places if it didn't take and it took constant tending. If some died he would have to replace them, it was all a lot of work. It wasn't like anyone admired his work or gave it a second thought. The light in these dark caves was simply taken for granted.

The dark boy had a keen eye and a green paw. A new section would be needed specially for the upcoming festivities. Many outsiders would be allowed it during that time and the light would have to be provided.

It was a good thing he liked his work. he liked his work more than other Balam actually. The ungrateful lot. he still had a job to do and did it with pride. the bioluminescent plants he grew were the best in all the city. he reminded himself proudly. as he padded through the castle straight to the lord's office.

A small pile of papers sat beside Roselle as she lifted a paw to sort through them, making a few little piles in front of her. Though she had a desk in the room with her, she found it easier to work on the floor for the time being. Easier to spread the papers out and sort them into more precise piles.

That and her desk was a little bit, kind of covered already in other papers.

Paperwork was the only way to get anything done. It kept everything so neatly organized-once you sorted it, anyway-and on file in case you needed to know something. If it existed, Roselle likely had it already committed to paper.

Once she had her little neat stacks finished, the Dark B'alam lifted them to the empty shelves around her, again stacking them neatly together in categorized piles that only she would know about. For now. She still had to go through them once more to decide where exactly to put everything in the office. This was just to keep everything related together so it would be easier to move about the room later.

Always the perfectionist.

The door to the office was open. With the last stack put away in its temporary place, Roselle stood up and stretched. She went towards the doorway with the intention of taking a little stroll through the corridors before the real work would begin when she spotted the new-to her, anyway-B'alam walking with a purpose towards Gabriel's office. Curious, she padded out into the hall, not baring his way, but making sure her presence was noticed. She offered a friendly smile.

"Business?"

"Yes, Business." he added rather uninterested this must be Lord gabriel's new secretary. he wouldn't be here unless he had business with the lord. He honestly prefered his own company and that of his subterranean plants. The light she worked by was also probably grown by him. "Is Lord Gabriel here?" he asked pausing in front of her. he wasn't much one for pleasantries after all. he was curt, and not overly polite.

"My Name is Mordrem."

Mordrem assumed he was here, or perhaps out shortly to return. This dark Tah was probably like the rest. She probably didn't care why he was here either. But he had to take care of the lighting as the city grew. There were after all others from the other tribes coming and going after all, they had to be able to see somewhat. he huffed. Why did they even bother, they would be fine on their own. The wind Tribe feared them like the nightmares of the shadow when the sun fell below the horizon.

The other tribes could hardly understand them. so why bother catering to them? He grumbled inwardly.
