It was Friday night at Club Fantasia and the place was buzzing. In one corner, barely lit by one weak spotlight, the band, Pissing Orifice was dutifully adding a live backbeat to the alcohol swilling and partnering up. Behind the caterwauling of the lead singer and the strumming of the guitarist, Jayce drummed a solid beat, an easy rhythm that he hardly had to think about as he scanned the crowds. Most of them were all 30-somethings, looking for someone to take home for the night. Technically, at nineteen, he shouldn’t even be at a club and he certainly shouldn’t have a bottle of beer resting near his foot, but being part of the entertainment had its perks.
The song started to wind down and Jayce gave the last few solid whacks to the drum before lifting the sticks, letting the guitarist have the last moment in the sun, giving her heart into the performance just like she did every time. He had to hand it to her, she wasn’t exactly good at playing the guitar but she made up for it with passion.
"We’re going to take a quick break," their singer called to the crowd. Jayce was already standing. "But we’ll be right back." As they started to move away from their instruments, more music started blaring from the sound speakers. Jayce doubted anyone in the crowd even noticed.
"Hey, anyone seen Lucy? She was watching us a second ago," Jayce teetered at the edge of the stage, scanning the room.
NovaCracker Please be escorting Lucy out of the building. ;D

It was a long wait for the girl to actually draw near enough for the half youma to draw her curiousity, but time was something Coffinite always had and when she draw close, four arms had crossed behind his back as he approached. The crowd had been a tempting target that evening for a direct draw of energy, perhaps, even a starseed, and now, his first prize was in his grasp. There was no Order aura close, no threat and he neatly drew the woman outside before uncrossing his hidden - Ishgard arms, the limbs stretching before swiftly gripping sides of startled prey to pin, one hand daring risk covering her mouth to muffle a scream, and he hummed.
"Don't worry, dear." Coffinite soothed. "This won't hurt so much. I promise." The last words were all but purred, and he flashed a danged grin pleasantly.

"Lucy, Lucy, Luuucy, there you- eh?" Jayce was sure he’d seen her bright red head in the crowd and he eyes shifted left and right, mentally cursing everyone who was waving their arms in the air in their version of dancing. He caught sight of her again and yes, that was Lucy, with some other man, being led outside. He watched as the back door opened and the two disappeared outside.
They’d been dating two weeks and she was already cheating on him? Oh, there would be hell to pay. Jayce was off the stage and pushing through the crowd, barging through the back door with an ‘Ah ha!’ ready to erupt.
"Aaah," the sound petered as he took one look at the pair and then stepped back inside, shutting the door with a click. There needed to be a tactical revision because he was pretty sure that guy had more than the usual pair of arms. Not that he didn’t fully intend to go back out there and save his two-timing girlfriend but maybe a weapon was in order first.
frayedflower Nico, dear, Centisima needs some firepower.

It was lucky the back of the club was nearly deserted (except for those who had imbibed slightly too much) because then nobody would be witness to Jayce clearly losing his mind. He’d turned in confusion, surprised by the idea of a kid young enough for that voice to be in the club and instead there was a cat.
A cat that talked.
“What?” He asked completely dumbfounded.
Okay, so he’d been slipped some serious drugs. So maybe the fellow outside actually had a normal set of arms, which was a bit of a relief. Except he didn’t feel like he was high. Not at all. He felt really very much with it and that was troubling part.
“Sure thing little cat dude,” he said as he picked up the pen (really how was this going to help?). “Wait, this is ridiculous.” But what else did he have? He’d been stalled long enough now that if the guy outside really was some monster man then Lucy was probably halfway down his throat.
“If this doesn’t work, I’m dumping you in a bucket of water!”
Then he was running back to the door, calling out the words he’d been told and expecting, well, nothing.
“Centisima Power, Make-Up!”
He burst through the doors in a flash of light and burst of wind and it wasn’t Jayce who made it to the other side, it was Centisima.

Centisima held out a hand, palms up. “Hold. Wait, gimme a second. Just, don’t eat her yet.”
And presuming the many armed man would do what he’d ask, he took a section to check himself out. Gloves, headband, some scarf thingy on his belt, he could probably do without the dorky boy scout tie but the boots were cool.
Okay, back to business.
With a quick glance towards Lucy and she still seemed to be breathing, so that was a bonus.
“Okay, look, so I’m counting six arms here and I’m going to have to ask you to remove them from my girlfriend.” He cracked his knuckles and grinned because he could feel his new strength coursing through him and he was ready to set it free. “Or else.”
