 Dodger stood outside of the cafe and rubbing his arms through his jacket as he waited. He had texted Eileen about twenty minutes ago when he was cleaning up while closing. She said she'd meet him there shortly, so he was hoping that it meant before he could freeze to death or catch a cold. The Grimm wasn't sure if she was the on time or late sort, but he was going to learn soon. He looked down at his phone to check the time. The cafe had only be closed for a few minutes now, but the boss was long gone already. His day had been so long because he spent all his spare moments looking at the clock and counting down to when he'd get to see her again.
If there was one thing he was grateful for right now is the fact that he always had spare clothes in back in case stuff spilled on him during the day. That was something that happened to him all the gosh dang time. But at least he was able to put something clean on for tonight. He was sporting a black pair of pants, white beater and his favorite plaid flannel over it. He couldn't help but think that the flannel would go over nicely since Eileen had been wearing plaid this morning herself. Sadly he couldn't excuse the sad state of his worn out to hell jacket. But hey... it was his favorite! Dodger pulled the hood up over his head and then took his phone out for the millionth time. He looked at the time once again, groaning because he was just making his wait go by not even minutes at a time from looking so much.SpuddyZombie And first date is started!  There was one thing Eileen hated and that was being late. She made sure once she got home, she got ready right away. As soon as she got his text, she moved quickly toward the cafe.
It was cold out, but luckily she was wearing her black leather-like jacket. She was also wearing black ripped shorts she found in her dresser. Thankfully she didn't need to cover her legs or feet.
Her hands on the other hand were freezing. While walking, she shivered and placed them in her jacket pocket.
Once she was close to the cafe, she looked over to see if Dodger was there. Once she saw a him waiting, her heart got flutters. "Ah! I'm so nervous." She said to herself. As soon as she got close enough, she smiled and said "Hey Dodger! I'm here."

The biggest grin spread over his face as the sound of Eileen's voice reached his ears. Dodger turned around to wave her over, but it was like he had been shot by a stun gun. She looked like a total hottie... and yet he had to wonder how she wasn't freezing in those shorts! "Hey you!" he shouted out, running over to meet her. "How are you not freezing in those shorts?" he asked with a laugh. Yeah, sure, she was a Baphomet, but still! He was a Grimm and he was still freezing!
Without giving it a thought, he turned his body and stood next to her, arm curling around her shoulders. "I don't know about you, but I'm ready to get warmed up and a drink before the show." The Grimm smiled happily as he looked down at his date. "By the way, you look great."
Dodger had this little urge to kiss the top of her head like he had before when they were saying their goodbyes in the cafe. 'Yeah... no... Bad idea' he thought to himself. 'That's the way to get yourself slapped right now. You barely know the girl and you're already wanting to smooch on her?!' After a couple more moments of mental bickering with himself, he took a step forward, smirking as he tugged her along a bit. "Show's gonna start any moment." Then, just because he couldn't help himself as they started to walk "The Dodger is not responsible for any ear damage that may occur, including but not limited to pain, bleeding, bursting ear drums, and deafness."SpuddyZombie Sorry that he's a bit all over the place! When Dodger made that comment, Eileen looked down at her furry legs then back up at him. "Well, I guess my fur is thicker. We baphomets don't wear much pants. Our fur usually gets in the way. So, my wardrobe is mostly shorts." she said, while giggling a bit.
"A drink? That would be lovely. I'm a bit thirsty." Eileen was caught off guard when Dodger complimented her and she started blushing. I gotta stop turning red each time he compliments me she thought.
She stared up at him, watching him lost in thought. I guess he gets lost in thought too she laughed to herself. She let him pull her along listening to his joke. She laughed and couldn't help but think to herself. He's a joker, I think we'll get along just fine.

Dodger couldn't help smirking more at her reply. "Color me green with envy! I catch colds like nobody's business if I don't keep covered up when it gets cold outside!" The Grimm was pleased as punch as he wasn't smacked away when he wrapped his arm around her. And as he glanced down at her once they started walking, he couldn't help notice the blush on her cheeks! GAH! This chick was killer cute! How was he going to keep himself from trying to snitch a kiss now?
And then he noticed her glancing up his way. His eyes quickly shot forward, and his cheeks heated up some themselves as he cleared his throat. "So, drinks and food are totally on me tonight. If you tell me your one of those 'i'll pay for myself' kinda chicks, I might have to whup your cute butt a bit until you let me pay." he said with a laugh and wink. There was no way he'd let her pay for anything on their dates... Wow.. 'dates'. He was already planning ahead of the first one!
Somehow the walk was a lot faster with her under his arm. The place was in sight, just a hop, skip, and jump away now. "Hot damn. We got here fast!" And not wanting to miss his chance, Dodger's arm -- reluctantly -- slipped from around her and he bounded to the door, holding it open for her. "Madam~" he said in a goofy way, bowing slightly with the biggest grin on his face. "I don't know about you, but I vote stage side, seating"
