Each of you are to make a post rolling a 100 sided die. The highest roller will get to attack first, but also have to choose their one pokemon for the match first. Wait until both trainers have chosen a pokemon before attacking.
For example:
P1 rolls, gets 100
P2 rolls, gets 1
P1 sends out Zubat
P2 sends out Rattata
P1 has Zubat use Confuse Ray
And so on like a regular battle.

This whole round robin battle tournament left no rest time between battles. Alexa quickly rushed from one to the next. She made it to her trainer box and then looked up to see who she'd be facing. She saw a board announcing Lenore and Alexa and her eyes grew wide. Lenore! She had battled her a few times and knew she was a tough opponent. She shuffled from foot to foot as she waited for Lenore to show up.

Lenore stepped up to the trainer box, scanning the blank field with half-lidded red eyes. Seeing her opponent, Lenore was pretty sure she had seen the girl in question before, but she never did pay much attention. Shrugging inwardly, she nevertheless gave Alexa a wave.

Alexa stopped fidgeting when she saw Lenore appear and step into her trainer box. She returned the wave and took a deep breath. No point in dragging this part out. Since Lenore didn't appear to be ready to toss out a pokemon, she decided to. She grabbed a pokeball and threw it out into the field. "Play time Farvardin!" Farvardin appeared in a flash of light and looked around. She heard play time and knew what that meant! It was time to BATTLE! She howled her eagerness while her tail whipped back and forth. 1150 HP

Lenore watched the red cerberex howl, and was finally sure she had seen her opponent before - Mef had battled that pokemon at least once. Reaching into the pocket of her long black dress, the teenager retrieved the decrepit pokeball she had received so many years earlier. A small smile crossed her lips as she remembered everything that the two had done together before sending out her best friend. Mephistopheles appeared in a flash of red and opened his eye to focus on Farvardin. Bowing before the cerberex, he prepared for his first battle in a fairly long time.  2000 HP + 100 ATK

Alexa stared at the pokemon Lenore released. She had never seen it before (or at least she didn't think so) but it seemed familiar. When he bowed to Farvardin she recognized him. It was that polite Duskull all grown up. "Time to get this show on the road Farva! Swagger!" Farvardin recognized Mephistopheles instantly and grinned. She remembered her lost to him when he was still a Dusclops but she wasn't going to let that stop her. No it would only serve as a lesson and fuel her ambition to beat him! She strutted before him while wagging her tail. "Seems we both have fully evolved haven't we. But I shall have you know I'm stronger than before!" Mephistopheles nodded, seemingly unaffected by the fire-type's strutting. "It would appear so. Best of luck in our battle." Up in the trainer box, Lenore called out a command to Mephistopheles for possibly the first time. "Mef, use Rock Smash!" Although at first caught off guard by the girl taking part in the battle herself, the dusknoir smiled softly - it just went to show that this battle was more important to her than she let on. The hulking ghost-type floated over to the cerberex and raised up a massive fist before slamming it onto the cement floor. Alexa groaned when she saw how hard of a hit Farvardin just took. They couldn't keep being hit like that. "Lower his attack Farva!" She called out. Farvardin was hit hard by the shards of cement. She staggered back and shook herself. She growled at Meph. She forgot how strong he was. She growled at him yelling who knows what at him. Bluedemonwolf I had no idea dusknoir got Haze in Gen 6, but I'll take it. xD Despite himself, Mephistopheles was unbalanced by the snarl. However, Lenore was already formulating a plan, and she called out a command. "Mef, use Haze!"Nodding silently, the dusknoir raised his gargantuan arms, and a thick mist filled the stadium. Although his vision was obscured, Mephistopheles felt as if a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. He scanned the fogged field for Farvardin. Qixel XD Well dang. Time to throw my plan to the wind. Well that certainly threw a wrench into her plans. Alexa thought for a moment on what to do now that their opponent used Haze. "Go wild Farva!" She called out. That'd give her some time at least to figure out what to do. Farvardin looked back at Alexa as if to verify the command was correct. With the foggy field she wasn't really able to see her trainer but mentally shrugged to herself. Alexa wouldn't call that out if she didn't want her to go nuts. She ran through the haze until she drew near Meph. She then lowered herself down close to the ground and slowly made her way close to him. Lenore nodded to herself - everything was under control. For his part, Mephistopheles heard the cerberex snarl behind him, and he whirled around, sending a massive fist at the ground where he assumed Farvardin would be. The cement shook and shattered under the weight of the dusknoir's strength, and chunks of rock shot upwards before raining down. The haze was clearing up some and Alexa could finally see the pokemon. She saw Farvardin running away from Mephistopheles as he was turning around. "Watch out Farva!" She called out. Farvardin heard her trainer's call and was tempted to at least turn her head to look behind her. However that would have been a mistake and slowed her down. Instead she barreled on ahead and avoided the chucks of rock from the dusknoir's attack. She skidded to a stop and glared at him while grinning. Soon she was racing back at him and snarled as she passed him. "What were you trying to hit!? Air?!" Mephistopheles made no attempt to turn to face Farvardin, and when he spoke, his voice was serene, but it covered a barely detectable annoyance. "Perhaps. Let us try something else." Raising up his arms, the lights above the stadium flickered and the entire stadium trembled as he sent energy into the ground below to cause an earthquake. Farvardin really needed to stop taunting others when she wasn't even landing any hits. The ground began to tremble and soon she was fighting to keep her balance. She fell a couple of times as the ground rose and then fell. Before it stopped she managed to get her balance back and began to walk confidently around as the ground shook. "Oh yeah let's try something else. How about something original." She called out shaking her hips trying to irritate and confuse him.Alexa just face palmed as she watched Farvardin. Mephistopheles was already rearing back a fist as the cerberex shook her hips, and the momentary distraction caused him to miss wildly, striking the ground beneath him, sending a rock jutting upwards into himself.
