Olga had a few spare dollars, so she had grabbed some lunch from the DCU cafeteria. She had her tray in hand as she looked for a spot, noting that it was busier in here than usual. She also wondered if Sergei was here...but her tsundere Russian senses weren't tingling. Oh well! It was so busy in here she supposed that was to be expected with how close finals were! Everyone didn't stray too far from the campus while they were cram studying. It was hard to find some seating though...hrm... Oh well! Never one to be afraid with more or less imposing herself on others, Olga started looking for someone who wouldn't, possibly, mind her sliding into a spot near them. She was scoping out a spot near the windows when she found someone to ask: "Hey!" She greeted the girl with brow locks and cute little pig tails. "Mind if I slid into that spot across from you?" She gave a smile to the girl as she waited.

If there was one thing Gale hated, it was the monster of finals looming quietly over her. She hated finals more than the average bear and had been studying her a** off trying to remember everything about…well…everything.
She had been parked at this spot in the cafeteria for the past three hours, pouring over her books, trying to remember all of the things for the classes…when suddenly someone was talking to her.
Gale jumped, and her book went sliding to the floor, having knocked it right off the table with her arm. “Oh gosh. Uh. Hi! Yeah sure, it’s not taken or anything.” She ducked under the table and grabbed the book…which had to weigh at least fifty pounds…okay maybe not so much, but it was a heavy thing.
“I’m Gale, nice to meet you.” It was almost an afterthought, spoken as she resurfaced, plopping the book back on the table with a thud. “…I hate finals. I hate tests. Why do I torture myself?”Lucyal Look at this thing I did. <3 SORRY FOR TAKING 20 YEARS.

"Oh---" Olga cringed when the girl startled, and nearly dropped her own tray in favor of trying to go get the book, but luckily Gale beat her to it. "Gosh, my bad! Didn't mean to startle you---is your book okay? And thanks!" She chirped, sliding into the seat across from her, and setting her tray down. "Nice to meet you, Gale!" Olga shot her a fox eyed grin. "That's a pretty name, too! I'm Olga!" She started unwrapping her plastic silverware, and laughed. "Because pretty sure all college students are pretty much masochists." She tilted her head to try and peer at some of Gale's books. "That's some serious reading! What's your major?" Orangeish Sherbert And then I took forever so we're even! : D

“Yeah, my book’s okay! I’m pretty sure not even being run over could hurt this beast…honestly, I’m pretty sure that this could be counted as some sort of lethal weapon, in the hands of the wrong person, a good thunk to the head could at the very least cause brain damage. I’m a nursing major so…so yeah. I have a few more years of all of this to look forward to. Isn’t it great?”
Olga. What a unique name! She liked it. It had character, just like Gale, honestly unique names had such great character. Take her sister, Karone for instance. What a crazy name that was…though she was sure it had made roll call interesting when Karone was in school, but…still. She had to have been the only one there! And wasn’t that the best thing about names?
“I really do like your name though. I think we got lucky. Just think, we could have been a run of the mill Jessica or Sarah! We were chosen to stick out…and sometimes that’s a good thing.”
She was rambling again. Why did she always ramble when she was nervous. “So uh…what’s your major? Something awesome, I bet.”Lucyal I am the worst. I know I am the worst ;; I am sorry ilu

Olga laughed, delighted that her book was indeed alright, but also at the mental image. "Hey, I believe it---ah!" She nodded her head, and then let out an impressed whistle. "Nursing, huh? That's a pretty heavy major!" She shot her another grin, scooping up some mashed potatoes from her tray and taking a bite. "Oh---" Olga uttered with a mouthful, and hastily swallowed. "Thanks!" She then nodded her head enthusiastically. "You bet! Well, whether the major is awesome or not is opinion really, but I like to think it's awesome! I'm here for writing!"

“Oh! Well that’s fun! I’ve never been a very creative person…my sister is though, she’s an English teacher over at Crystal Academy…she got all of the…well, I guess that’s not true. I’m not good at writing…serious things. I’ve got a pretty decent knack for fanfiction, and I’m a decent DM in table top games but, other than that…if it came to me surviving only if I could write a book? Nah. I’d be dead.” Gale threw up her hands rather hopelessly and sighed.
“I did get the gift of um. Well, other creative outlets. One of my favorite things to do is to crochet. And oh! I’m pretty good at…” The girl tucked a strand of green hair behind her ear, and unwound a string from her wrist. “I keep this with me just in case I get bored in class or something. Moving my hands really helps me focus…”
She twisted and looped the string around her fingers, changing it from a simple open position, to cat whiskers, to a jacobs ladder, before finally letting the string hang limply around her index fingers. “Uh…tada? I know you didn’t ask for that, I am sorry, I ramble so much…” Gale glanced away. What was she even doing…? This poor girl just wanted to eat her lunch in peace, and her she was giving her life story.
Perfect.
“So uh…what about you? What do you do for fun…?”
