Weather: A little overcast.☃ ☃ ☃ She's been back in town long enough that not having a gym to go to regularly is starting to chip away at her mood. Considering the amount of life upheaval she's gone through lately -- and the adjustment of living with her mother again, because no matter how much she loves her, it's certainly an adjustment -- Dani really doesn't need the help being cranky. Exercise has always been a tool for her, anyway, a way to process her thoughts when she has too much going on, not to mention it's useful for work, so it's high time.
There's also the issue of Dani being picky with the facilities, though. She's been around the block a time or two and knows what she wants in gym membership, and she's already scoped out two other places that she's considering, but not particularly attached to.
She steps inside and immediately unzips her jacket, not shy in the least about obviously and thoughtfully taking in the reception area and what she can see of the floor plan. It's tidy and welcoming, which already appeals to her, and she is careful to wipe her shoes on the welcome mat before going any further into the gym, respectful of the flooring.
Hands settled on her hips, she swivels, apparently unconcerned by the lack of a greeting so far. (Hey, she understands people get busy in the gym, and it gives her time to have a look around and make her own first impression, so she's not too upset. She's about ten minutes early for her appointment, anyway.)

Nell always had a problem with sitting around with nothing to do, especially when there was work that could be done, so when a chunk of time between two appointments presented itself, she set about the reception area to keep herself busy. T-shirts were folded, displays of water bottles and yoga mats that were for sale were dusted and rearranged, and she was in the middle of restocking the towels when she realized that time had gotten away from her yet again.
But after the towels had been carefully stored in their rightful place she all but bounced over to the front, a broad smile on her face. "Hey! How's it going, did you need help with anything?" While not usually the one stuck in the front, she certainly tried to make up for her lack of a sales pitch with sheer enthusiasm.

" Hi," Dani greeted back brightly, matching the woman's smile with one of her own. She already liked the look of the gym, and she could appreciate a friendly, enthusiastic employee. " I'm a little early for my appointment. Dani Romero." She offered her hand, relaxed and cocking her head to the side slightly as she continued to check out the facilities. She hadn't been overly impressed with most of the gyms she'd checked out so far -- they weren't bad, but none of them really wowed her -- and so she was hoping she'd eventually run into one that really tipped the scales. Maybe it could be this one. After a brisk shake, she added, " If you're busy, I can look around for a little while longer. I'm just looking for a basic tour of the facilities, and to get an idea for what sort of benefits come with a membership. I'm pretty new to town," she added, mouth twisting wryly, " Well, new back. And not having a gym membership is killing me."

Though it didn't seem like it should be possible, Nell's expression brightened at the introduction, giving Dani a hearty handshake in return. "Nell Wilson! Nothing wrong with being early! I'll be the one showing you around anyway, so it all worked out, huh?" Glad to be done with the busywork for now, she gestured broadly at the gym as a whole, glad for once that it wasn't terribly busy so the place was still relatively tidy and neat looking. "If you wanted to poke around a bit first without any running commentary, feel free, but if not I will be sure to give you my clearly unbiased opinion about things," Almost as an afterthought she took a quick step over to the front desk, reaching over the counter to grab some papers before hurrying back. "Good to know I'm not the only new one around, it seems like everyone has been here forever," she said with a laugh, quickly flipping through the papers to make sure everything was there. "Here's all the official stuff, there's a copy of the terms and conditions if you wanted to read 'em over, plus a class schedule and a list of all the fun extra stuff we have coming up soon." It was clear that she was doing her best to restrain herself from dragging the poor woman on a whirlwind tour of the place, but she was (she hoped) at least not hurting business by being a bit too excited.
