Porrima was wondering why more people had been coming out of the woodwork recently. The lack of people in her initial patrols had allowed her to get a good handle on the city's layout, but it was puzzling. It wasn't like it was getting any warmer; indeed, with holidays around the corner, she thought that more people would stay in for one reason or another. Then again, more people around meant more targets for the Negaverse. She had been mulling over what she would do on Thanksgiving break; it would be harder to slip out and patrol from home. Maybe it would be all right if she just took a week off? There had to be more senshi running around than just her. Besides, good food and seeing everyone again was a powerful lure. Silas hadn't even called her in a while, and Alia was busy as ever. Something big at work, apparently. As she walked and thought, something big and bright registered on her senses. How fortunate, another senshi was out and about! And a more powerful one than her, from the feeling of it. She began to bound up and around to pursue the aura, hoping to find this stronger person and see who they were.

The night, so far, was routine. Slip out, patrol, go home. Lately in liwu of people to socialize with unpowered, the super senshi had taken to redoubling her efforts patrolling, patrolling, patrollung, but her reflection on her route was interrupted by an aura, and she paused, looking around before moving towards the direction the aura seemed strongest in fascination. It seemed weaker, and Elpis wondered if this was what basics felt to others, the Super Senshi's protective instinct rising as she walked for the feeling before stopping. "Helloooo out there!" She called. "Im not gonna eat you!"

"Hellooooooo," Porrima called back, making her way to Elpis's position and landing in front of her with remarkable aplomb for a rookie senshi. "Greetings, fellow senshi," she said, aware of the redundancy. "I am Sailor Porrima, Senshi of Laws. Who are you?" She took a quick glance to the side before continuing. "I hope you don't mind if I ask you a few questions. You seem to be more powerful than me, and I would like to hear a more experienced person's perspective on being a senshi." Her tone was a bit stiff and formal, though really not much more so than it was formally; most of it was a silly affectation. She quickly reached into her bodice and pulled out a pen and a small notebook; it was mostly for the sake of doodles, but notes would be helpful too. It might not have been the wisest thing to carry around in her bodice, but she chose not to worry about that for the time being.

Elpis raised both brows at the formality, taking a moment to tilt her head and wrap her mind around it all before a broad, warm smile crossed her face and she bowed politely, smiling. "Sailor Elpis, Super Senshi of Metal." The senshi introduced politely. Judging by the notepad, Porrima seemed meticulous, and Elpis couldn't help feeling glad a ew senshi had come to ask her questions. Or thought to ask her anything period really, and she nodded. "Of course, I'll try to answer as best I can." She answered. "I hope things haven't been tough so far. A lot of senshi seem to end up in small groups and others get left to struggle on their own, so I do not mind helping anyone I am." Elpis nodded, and offered a handshake. "We're all in everything together after all."

"Metal... is that offensive or defensive?" Porrima looked up from the notebook only briefly as she recorded Elpis's name and sphere. "Laws is defensive. I can ban attacks or magic." She paused, tapping her chin with her pen, then asked, "I guess my first question is basic, but broad. What are we expected to do as senshi? The cat that awoke me said that we're supposed to fight Chaos, but I'm not entirely sure what that means aside from dusting youma." She really hoped she could get a guiding answer, or at least some sort of direction, but she woudln't be surprised if she didn't. After all, mission statements seemed to be hard to find, and the question was very very broad.

"Completely offensive, I think. Risk of friendly fire too." Elpis noted, looking breifly worried, and then grinned. Ah, questions. Good, the senshi wanted to learn. Just like Sinistra. Mentally, Elpis was already clinging to both. "Mission varies. Some try restoring homeworld. Some do try to purge Chaos - which is the Negaverse and Dark Mirror Courts - some try to seek peace, some protect. It breaks down to what you feel you should do with your power, I find. My mission? Protect others. My family. Newer and allied senshi and knights." Elpis smiled, then motioned. "But some chaos agents are not evil. Some agents were misled into Chaos, or forced into it. For example, a friend of mine is in the Negaverse to protect people. I'm - working with her - as a friend in case something unexpected comes up. She's a good person, if misled. And the Dark Mirror Court has never harmed me. Don't be afraid of them unless they attack. You need to use your judgement, in the end."
