Ooooh...of course his birthday had to be on a Sunday. It couldn't have been during a week day, where she could have thrown the envelope awkwardly at him and then got lost in a sea of students at school....No...of course not. Hey. Wait. It was Sunday...and his birthday...and this was probably better than being at school, right? He was probably out with his family! Yeah. Yeah...that's what people did on their birthdays. He was probably at his parent's house, being stuffed full of delicious home cooking by his mom. This thought had Olga feeling a teeny bit better...after all...it was rough to see someone who called you stupid and was right about it. She sighed softly, running her thumbs around the envelope as she made her way to his apartment. She'd leave it in his mail box, and sort of appease the guilty conscience she felt about being a horrible human being if she didn't wish him a happy birthday in person... Plus if she dropped it in his mailbox, she wouldn't be around for him to call her present stupid either! Which she didn't doubt he would for whatever reason. It was a win/win... As Olga drew nearer, she looked up to see some other people standing around the gate. Huh. She blinked. It was busy today, apparently...and wait...why did they all look like clones of each other...? Triplets, maybe? Curious! Olga moved in behind them though, just so that she could stand in front of the mail boxes, and was preparing to slip the envelope in there when she paused. Wait...her brows knitted. Those clones seemed...familiar...she thought as she glanced at the back of their heads.

"Well tell the b*****d to come out." One of the clones crossed his arms and tapped a foot, while his brother pressed a button. The third rested on the fence with his hands tucked in his pockets and a cheerful grin. All three were exact replica's of each other from far apart. But once you got closer, you could see a little height difference, and build. All three shared shockingly pale blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Their skin was the brown tan from the romani side of their family, but that was about it.
All three shared such similarities to Sergei, they could be nothing less then siblings.
"I did push the button." The tallest of them scoffed as his finger was currently held down on the button as if the sound would continue into Sergei's apartment. It did not, but it was not for good effort.
The one on the bars was like the lookout, making sure their elder brother did not take off. "Maybe we should call Nadia?" He pulled out his cellphone-
"Don't do that! She's visiting her boyfriend. He was in a accident or something. Plus Sergei told us to go away."
"Yeah but he always tells us to go away."
"Well, We aren't doing that." There was a mashing of button again.
"GO AWAY YOU IDIOTS." Was the reply from the window of Sergei's apartment. Where he was watching. Like a hawk.

It was nagging at her really bad---but after a few more moments, it did become painfully clear as she watched them. And listened. More of Nadia's brothers! She had seen pictures of the triplets about three years ago...and while they definitely filled out from their fifteen year old selves...she could recall it. ... Why were all of the Vetrov siblings really attractive? It should seriously have been illegal that all of them looked so good. All of them. But wait...Olga cringed when she heard Sergei's voice, and she peeked over the mailboxes, standing on her tip toes briefly before she rocked back on her feet. He...wasn't with the family today. She frowned briefly, wondering why he wasn't...and also this totally wasn't how she had expected her master drop off plan to go...but she could always just...drop it off and leave, yeah? Olga's lips twisted briefly, obviously torn on trying to be helpful---and yet staying under the radar and leaving... She turned towards the triplets. "H-hey---" Her voice came out softer than she meant, and she cleared her throat and tried again. "Hey guys---" Olga raised a hand and waved her fingers a bit. "I'm one of Nadia's friends, actually---Olga---um...maybe if you all shout his name really loud, and keep doing it, he might let you in...? I did it really early in the morning once and it worked..." Because you know...neighbors and all.

Three very blonde heads turned towards Olga like so:

Before huddling up together and making sounds. Things like:
"She said in the morning..."
"Shouting his name..."
"Letting her in..."
"Nadia's 'friend'" followed by quotation marks in the air before the brothers looked back up.
"Okay." They said in unison before shaking the bars on the gate and sing songing Sergei's voice in all manners of ways that had the man coming out, Noel following happily behind him with yips and barks and her paws on the bars.
"Заткнись раздражает идиотов !!" Sergei's voice boomed and the boys fell down, grinning at each other and then pointing behind them at Olga.
"This is girlfriend, Брат?"

Olga blinked and stared at them as they huddled. She was catching snippets of their huddle, and had written enough smut to understand their lines of speculation. As soon as she realized what they thought: "N-no! It's not like that at all---" She didn't even think Sergei considered her a friend. Of course, she was drowned out by the brothers taking her suggestion, and was at that point she should have stuffed the envelope into the mailbox, because her suggestion worked very well. Too well. She froze as she heard the man boom in Russian, and was more or less caught like a deer in oncoming traffic as she was then pointed out. The question snapped her back to, her cheeks burning red. "N-no! I'm not! I'm not!" She waved her hands frantically, and wondered if throwing the envelope at him now and running off would work. It probably would. Also...was it wrong to take a small comfort from the fact that apparently he told his own family 'no' and 'go away' too? But well...now that he was out here...in person...it'd be really rude to not do the proper thing. Sigh. This was exactly what she'd been trying to avoid. Olga stepped around, coming to the side of one of the brother's on the end so that she could be against the fence too. Her cheeks were still a bit red from embarrassment, but everything about her posture to her expression obviously lacked the usual enthusiasm and energy. "H-hi..." She uttered to Sergei. Her brows knitted. "I'm not...going to take up your time since you have...family over---just---" She maneuvered the regular sized envelope through the gaps in the fence, and held it out to him. "H-happy birthday...!" Olga tried to offer him a small smile, but it came out looking pained, and she could feel it.

Once Olga took her position, the triplets too theirs and moved behind her. They cut off her escape in a very subtle triangle effect while their faces all shared the same curiosity and interest at just how their brother would react to the woman's gift.
Noel, as per usual, got a look at Olga, changed her face from happy yips to |: and headed back into the apartment. As the brothers were the only ones she was truly excited for.
Lastly, Sergei was staring at Olga as if she was quite possibly the worst thing to show up at his doorstep at this very moment because she was quite literally, the worst person to show up at his doorstep at this very moment.
his mother would be calling him within the day and demanding he bring the woman over and they WEREN'T EVEN FRIENDS.
He stared at the envelope.
"Nyet."
"AWW THATS CRUEL SERGEI, TAKE HER PRESENT!!" The tallest of them said and shrinked only a little at the look that was given at him.
"Go home, Olga." Sergei squinted, but took her envelope before she would leave.

Well...she'd been expecting it. Really. She had...but it still.... Kinda stung. She should have just thrown it into the mailbox. Or maybe she should just throw it at him now---Hey wait a minute. Why was it warmer all of a sudden--- and why would Noel never let her pet her---She saw you there, dog---leaving--- Hey wait. The brothers had trapped her in. She could feel them. On all sides. It was a wee bit of relief as Sergei took the envelope from her. "Y-yeah...I...I'm going..." She turned in the tight formation she'd been put in---and tried squeezing past two of the triplets... ... They weren't budging. They were as solid and toned as they looked. Oh. Oh well then. Olga slowly turned back around to look at Sergei with a look that clearly said: for once I'm trying. I'M TRYING, but I LITERALLY CAN NOT. "Uh...excuse me please...Nikolai, Alec, and Isaac!" Because she couldn't tell them apart, so saying all of their names was the best way.

The triplets all made a similar scoffing sound, a bit like Sergei's but..nicer.
"No!" Isaac, the tallest of the three crossed his arms smiling down at her. "You've been recruited! This is the, SERGEI LET US IN, team."
"Yeah! SERGEI YOU a*****e, You gonna leave your girlfriend out here by herself!??!" Alec shook the bars, flipping off the older brother.
"So your name is Olga?" Nikolai reached over for her hand and brought it up to his lips, kissing the knuckles. "A pleasure to meet you. I think Nadia told us about you once. Penpal right?" Of the triplets, Nikolai was the closest to Nadia. About that time, Sergei was up at the bars, his long arm reaching out and pushing Nikolai's face away from Olga's.
"Leave." The order was directed now at the triplets, but could've been mistaken for Olga again. Clear blue eyes dropped to the woman, narrowing in distaste. There was no real way of clearing this damage. Regardless if Olga was Nadia's friend first, the triplets would spread rumor of a girl in front of his door and his mother.
"Ma says if you don't come over, she'll загар ваш спрятать!" Isaac added, "She told us, not to leave house without you. Olga is invited."
Since she knew half the family.
Sergei made such a disappointed sighing sound, before muttering his way back into the house. He returned with a navy sweatshirt tugged on and Noel on her leash.
"Vill go." He stared at Olga, "Vill come too, or else I vill be in trouble." The triplets whooped and then started pushing Olga to walk with them. Asking her ALL THE QUESTIONS.
Lucyal Guess whose meeting mama...

It may have been nicer scoffs, but still. Like more little arrows through her chest, on top of the ones Sergei had already put there in the short span of a few minutes. "Uh---" Was about the only intelligible thing she could say as she got rail roaded and swept up in the wave that was the Vetrov triplets. "I'm not---" She tried to protest the girlfriend thing, turned beet red as Nikolai took her hand kissed her knuckles, and could only a manage a breathy 'yeah' to the question of her name and being Nadia's pen pal. Whew. There was some relief as they talked about going to their parents' house, because that meant they'd be on their way and she'd be free--- To go to their parents' house with them. Oh. No. "Nnnnnnnn---" Olga was then swept along again by the triplets, and she was internally rolling. This...this wasn't fair. It just wasn't fair. It wasn't that she didn't want to meet the matriarch of the Vetrov family, because she really, really, really did. She heard so much about this amazing woman from Nadia, and was kind of frightened even if she sounded like a force to be reckoned with---but right now? Right now, when she felt like nothing short of crap, she was going to meet her? She didn't want to. She wanted to be at her best---not at her worst. "Nnnn---" Olga dug the heels on her boots into the pavement, to stop, and resisted against the push before she pulled away from them. She whirled to face them all, her lips twisting, and she addressed the triplets first. "I'm sorry." She said. "What I'm about to say isn't because of you guys---you're all really wonderful, it's just---" She looked at Sergei now, a bit helplessly as her shoulders sagged briefly. "Nnnnn--" She then squared up. "No." She let that hang in the air for a moment, finally able to get that out. "No." She said again. "You...you don't get to do that. You don't get to tell me to leave, and then command me to go. It doesn't work like that---" Her lips twisted, and she ducked her head a bit, mortified to think what this might look like to the triplets. Drama. "So---let me do you a favor, yeah? I just---won't go. You can't get in trouble if I say no, right? Besides---" She looked off to the side. "I'm not feeling great---" Partly true "And I got---things...to do..." It was here that it was very obvious that she didn't, as she finished it off rather lamely, but she just couldn't stand the thought of getting dragged along anymore. Not when she was feeling miserable. Mama Vetrov didn't deserve to have a Debbie Downer in her house. Pixie Nyxie She just likes being difficult lately...: ' D BUT MAMAAA pssssssst keep forcing her along : ' D SHE'LL BUCK UP

Sergei could only give one look at Olga.
"You have made this mess." He rose a brow, "This is vhat you vant. Friendship? No? That's fine, if you not come today, then do not come again." He tilted his head. "Is not vhat you to do me? You force your way in and then you demand and demand and demand."
The triplets snickered, elbowing each other. 'forced her way in-' before shutting up.
"So either you will come and meet, or you vill never come over again." He repeated, in case she didn't get it the first time.

Olga visibly flinched, a hand coming up to grasp at her chest, clutching at the cost she wore. Awwwwwwwwww MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN he played hard. She always knew that but still. Ow. A tiny bit of her felt indignant. All she wanted to do today was wish him a happy birthday, give him a present and then leave---how was this mess her fault? The only time she wasn't trying hard--- Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan----wait was he black mailing her? Awwwwwwwwwwww---what an awful ultimatum--- Gooooooooooooooosh--- Wait a minute. "Hey wait---" Olga blinked and then stared back at him, eyes a bit wide. "Does this mean if I go we're friends?" AND HE'D CLAIM HER AS SUCH?

"We are not friends." Sergei threw up his hands and walked off, "Do not come again Olga!"
Then he took off with Noel, using long legs to put distance between him, the triplets and Olga.
"Hey hey." Nikolai fell in step beside her, "To be fair, he doesn't have many friends and doesn't even consider family...family. Nadia is usually the only one to get through to him." The blonde ran a hand through his hair.
"You still gonna come though right? I mean....Sergei doesn't just invite..not friends." Isaac added.
"Plus there will be lots of food right? Nadia might stop by later, but if not, we can tell you all the stories about Sergei!" Alec clapped his hands.

Olga stared after Sergei, nothing short of utterly baffled. "But---" She had raised a hand as if that'd help, and held it for a moment before shifting rub the back of her neck. Sergei...there was a Katy Perry song that described him. That 'Hot Cold' one. He was giving her whiplash something awful saying one thing and then the complete opposite of the other. Maybe she was high strung and erratic sometimes (more like all the time), but at least when she said something she stuck to it. "But he said friendship...so it was safe to assume that we'd be friends if I went...right?" She was talking more to herself than the triplets as she tilted her head, brows furrowing, wondering how she should introduce herself to Mama Vetrov. Showing up and saying she was Nadia's friend when Nadia wasn't there seemed a little...weird....and what was she supposed to say if asked in relation to Sergei!? She panicked briefly at the thought, before she reminded herself of the ultimatum. Sergei said, first, that if she didn't go, she could never come over again! Well...she didn't want that so...but then he said don't come again now... "Oh..." Olga blinked, and looked at the triplets, and then smiled a bit. "That's Nadia's secret power..." Plus if there was the possibility that Nadia would stop by later...and she'd wanted to see her friend, especially after hearing that Lorne ended up in the hospital...Uuuuuuuuuugh. Ugh though. She still didn't feel ready or confident to meet Mama Vetrov...uuuuugh now she was going. She was going. She was going because he was holding Sergei to his ultimatum. "W-well...yanno...I never...really listened to what Sergei told me to do or not to do before so...no need to start now, yeah?" She offered a bit sheepishly, and snapped her fingers and pointed at Alec. "I'll hold you to those stories if Nads doesn't show, so...please lead the way!" Pixie Nyxie Um...feel free to time skip them to the house / inside the house!? Feel free to time skip to Olga meeting her doom

The house was not overly large, for the amount of members it had in it's domain. A quiet two story, with washed faded blue paint and a meticulous yard greeted Nadia. There was two cars parked in the driveway, and some cars littered along the street. To the left, another two story home of nicer and more well kept looks and to the right, a wooden fenced enclosure, with a broken down home. It was kind of funny, if you looked at it. Broke down house, to middle class to a more fancier well done house. The signs demolition and repair were plastered over the fence.
"Dad's next project." The triplets waved to the broken down home, "He bought it after the tenants lost most of it in flooding. Probably a year ago? Or mildew or something."
The generally crowded Olga into the home, where she would be greeted with array of smells and warmth. The home had pictures along all the walls, decorations for the holidays littered here and there. The loud sound of TV and swearing came first, followed by an array of people wandering around. They greeted the twins, and then greeted Olga, as if she wasn't a stranger in their home.
"Ma is this way." Alec started towards the kitchen, pulling Olga gently along. "I brought Olga!" He smiled as he came into the kitchen, swinging the door open. Sergei was in the midst of a deep conversation of russian and a warm smile played on his face. Next to him was a woman, of Olga's height with a bit more curve and a bit more salt and pepper hair. She looked....just like an older female version of Sergei. Her bright blue eyes mimicked the subtle scoffing stare of her son.
"Sergei, Vhy not come home hmm? You think I would not send them? Pah." She slapped his cheek fondly and then looked over to Olga. "Ah, A friend, is vhat he says." She nodded, "Vill help me in kitchen? Then ve vill sit and talk." It was like orders....
"ALEC!!" She yelled in russian at the young man, slapping his hand with a spoon and shooing him out.

Even though she had made up her mind to go, the closer each step took her towards the Vetrov household, she found herself in an odd predicament. Each step built and multiplied the fear and anxiety in her of meeting and disappointing Mama Vetrov, and when she stepped foot onto the property, she was struck by an odd realization. Right now, she was more afraid of bombing her first impression with Mama Vetrov than the Negaverse finding her and killing her. Olga nodded her head distractedly and made 'ah' sounds as the triplets pointed out the run down house next door, and when she was brought inside, the nervousness coupled with an intense wave of home sickness for the young woman. She returned greetings, utterly surprised that there was little fanfare involved, and felt her heart hammering as she was drawn into the kitchen by Alec. At this point, worry about upsetting Sergei was minuscule in light of meeting his mother, but it was to him her attention was drawn to first. That warm smile he gave to his mother was stunning. Absolutely stunning. For a brief moment, she had forgotten her other worries, that was until she spoke up. Her heart went back to hammering, her cheeks a bit red, and seeing the woman in flesh kicked her in the gut with the height of nervousness, and also the homesickness again. Mama Vetrov was the complete opposite of her own mother, but there was something about that powerful maternal aura... "...A...a friend?" She echoed, dumbly at that. "...Y-yes...! Yes...? We're----" Wide eyes shot to Sergei briefly. She was onto you. Also, since he told his mother they were friends, it had to be true. "Friends...? Um---Of course, ma'am!" Olga straightened immediately, snapping her attention immediately back to the woman, and thrust out a hand as well. "I'm Olga! I heard a lot about you from Nadia and it's really a pleasure to meet you and thank you for inviting me over!" And ground, please swallow her now.
