It's hiring time for teachers, and all three universities as well as the Academy are looking for qualified educators to teach at their schools. These prospective teachers are ready to start their teaching career! Help them fill out their application?
We need teachers! And we're seeking customers who'd like to teach. Have an idea for a class? Now's your time to shine! Give us two example activities for your class, as well as a brief personality write up for your teacher. Once we've selected the winners, they'll get to make that class a real class in the Classroom subforum!
Here are some things to keep in mind:
- You cannot teach Core classes (or Magic)! Those are Staff-only.
Try to keep your activities to about 15 minutes to complete.
Activities do not have to be 100% true to real life, these are meant to be fun first and foremost! But please do try to take direct inspiration from your subject matter.
Several subjects allow for multiple topics! Art and Music are two examples.
Keep in mind the age level you'll be working with! Freshlings do not need electives! (In the future, you can elect to allow Freshlings to attend, but we will not be looking for that in this contest!)
Since classes are very lore dependent we will be keeping a close eye on any lore breaking. Make sure you've read all of the lore that's relevant to your subject! If you're unsure, please feel free to ask the loremasters, Geyser Eelborn, Yushika or nepsah! We are more than happy to help clear any confusion up.

After that, post in this thread saying that you sent a PM. Do not post your prompts in the thread! Doing so will disqualify that prompt.
You MAY make up a class that is not on the class list.
While we don't have a huge preference for where these teachers end up, we do want to point out that Arkham is the largest Academy house (many Arkham students continue on to Grendel) and Asterion has the fewest teachers!
**We're trying a new form of judging! All prompts will be sent to Yushika, who will not share them with nepsah or Geyser Eelborn until it is time to judge. Yushika will then number the prompts and pass them along without names attached, so nepsah and Geyser Eelborn have no idea who wrote what! In addition, Yushika will not have any part in the judging of the prompts, so she cannot influence the decisions made by Geyser Eelborn or nepsah. We hope this new form of Blind Judging makes everything more fair!
