Terry had promised himself that he would eventually take the time to explore his Wonder. That he would find a weekend where he could get away from it all, all the good and the bad, to just relearn Erebus and what it had become. The opportunity had sadly never come up before now. It was a Sunday and he didn't have any class tomorrow, nor did he have any plans to go out with friends or with his brother. He had told his parents that he was going to go out for a few hours and that he would be back later then took off to an area in the park that knew would be abandoned this time of the day. There he had found a nice, hidden area and had transformed into his Page form.Terry had sent a message to Dani the night before, telling her that he would be out of touch for a while since he would be on Saturn.

The purple eyed youth still thought that the upgrade to his ring had been so worth the fiddling he had done a while back. How could he resist sending messages to the other Knight that referenced Star Wars now that it was upgraded? Simple, he didn't. Once he was comfortable in the knowledge that no one else was around and that Dani knew where he had gone, he closed his eyes and put a hand on his chest, resting it over his heart with a smile on his face before he whispered the pledge that would whisk him away into the stars and leave him standing on his other home planet.

When he opened his eyes again he felt the mixed feelings of homesafedelight that warred with the feelings of desolategonepain. He was glad to be standing on his first home planet but saddened that it was still barren of life. He shook his head to shove the feelings away then first looked up at the sky and seeing the difference the added distance made the sun look then he looked around where he had teleported. This time he was closer to the mansion then the ruins of the town that had once thrived with in the now dead forest. He started to walk to the dried river bank but stopped once he got to the edge of it to peer at what looked like what had once been the beginning of a bridge.

"Guess I missed this last time since I was too busy looking up." He chuckled out loud then looked at the mansion. He stared at it for a few heart beats before he let out a small sigh. "Not today." As much as he would love to dedicate his exploration to the mansion, this time he wanted to have a look around some place else. He patted the long crumbling bridge then turned on his heel and started to walk back the way he came, staring straight ahead at the town.

It didn't take very long before he was coming to the first building, it had been maybe a ten minute walk, something that would have been nothing if he had decided to run the length given how being powered made him faster. The first building he came across was made of stone and of a good size, he studied it with interest for a few minutes before pushing the rotten door open to peer inside. At first he had to let his eyes adjust to the light difference but when they had he looked in at a room that looked like it had been set up like a guard house.

There were broken and rotten furniture sprawled on the floor that might have been tables and chairs at some point, and rusted shelves on the walls that looked like they might have held weapons of some sort at one time. As he stepped farther into the room he could see an arch way towards the back and the young adult could make out the remains of what looked like cots. His feet took him through the ruins so he could stand in the archway and confirm that they were indeed cots at one time, as well as evidence of chests which he assumed the guards items were placed in at some point. After a moment he turned to leave when a brief flash of a blurry memory ran through his mind.

~"You know it's not polite to stare m'lady, Da-." A cheeky grin and a laugh.~

He shook his head in confusion. Who had been talking? Who had been staring? He felt like he should know the answers to those questions and more but they slipped uncaring out of his hands when he tried to grasp anything of substance. Finally he gave up after a few minutes of struggling and left the guard house in a hurry. He aimed for the next building with the single minded mission to put the confusion in as far back in his mind as he could while exploring more. This time the building was smaller then the guard house and the door was non-existent. He peeked into the building and at first was confused when he saw nothing inside it. Had everything faded to dust?

He walked into the first room and saw that yes, there was indeed nothing there, the shape however looked like the entrance might have been combined with a greeting room of some sort. He walked down the first hall he saw and peered into doorways when he came to them. The layout was unfamiliar and there were no remains that he could find, of steel or wood or anything else, and once he finished looking through all the rooms he left the house with a frown.

The building had caused no flashes so he had no answers there and any theory he could come up with would annoy him since he couldn't confirm anything at this point of time since his memory of that time were even worse then swiss cheese. He looked at the watch he had brought with him to tell the time by then blinked in surprise. It had been hours since he left the Earth and to him it seemed like it had barely been an hour. He groaned and gave the town one last look. He would be back sooner next time, that he was sure of. Terry then took a breath and teleported back to Earth and back to normal, or at least as normal as it got for someone powered, life.
