It was night time, around the same time he'd encountered her once before. He had decided to stay, and now he wanted to ask more questions, to learn more about what had happened to him and what was happening here in Destiny City. He'd made his way back, under the cover of his Senshi form, to the cafe from a few nights back. The glass on the front window was broken and there was large red tape draped across it with a hand written note stuck to it that said Refurbishment Underway, Reopening Soon. Oscar cringed, that was kind of his fault, but the rest, was that things, that Youma's? That's what she'd called it, that made it 3 times he'd heard the name and still he didn't know much about them. He didn't know where else to look, so he figured why not go back to where he'd met Methone and maybe she'd show up. He was nervous though, this was his first time venturing out alone in uniform, ever, on purpose. "Guess I've gotta learn the ropes somehow," he said to himself.

The trip from outskirts of the city to city was never a fun one, lonely really and a bit long, but the senshi of vampires had taken the trip again into the city where it seemed things where really happening. She'd heard the news reports about a cafe and what sounded, from the reporters description, as a youma. She'd have come sooner, just to see the damage up close, but she'd been busy with college work as the end of the semester was looming ever closer.
Tonight however she had made it into the city and was approaching the cafe. As she got closer she could feel something...another senshi? Tilting his head she smiled lightly. Someone else, another like herself, was in the area. Her heels clicked faster as she hurried her steps and she leapt from roof top to roof top before dropping down onto the pavement with a jarring landing.
Straightening herself she stood only a few shops down and could see someone, clearly the other senshi, standing there at the damaged cafe. "Seeing what happened here?" She called out while making her approach much slower now, calmer. She certainly stood out, a bit more than he did in his uniform, as her uniform was not just black and white but also red and yellow; two colors which stood out.

Janus still wasn't used to all the things that came with being powered up, so it wasn't until she was really near that he sensed the other senshi, not that he knew what she was, he just knew something with power was nearby. He turned when she dropped down. He was slightly disappointed it wasn't Methone, but relieved it wasn't a youma as well, he didn't want to fighting one of those every night of the week, how would he ever have time to go to the gym? "I'm afraid it was partly my doing," he said. Was destruction always a consequence of these fights? If the town city was swarming with these things it was a wonder it was still standing. "Myself and another senshi took it down the other night, this is the result," he indicated inside to a few broken tables and chairs. "Hopefully getting rid of these things isn't always so messy," he laughed half heaetedly. Just how many more of those things were there out there? He had a lot to learn.

Looking over the mess left behind she had to admit the clean up wasn't too bad, though repairs were most certainly needed. She suspected it had likely been worse right after the fight.
"I see." Tapping a foot she smiled. "That seems to happen a lot with these fights, from what I can gather. Perhaps worse with officers involved as well. I haven't had many interactions with them though kidnapping and mayhem do seem their thing." Kidnapping, destruction, chaos. This city had been afflicted with it all for a long time really, and only recently had she found out why and been brought into it all.
"It might not always be so messy but I wouldn't count on it. The city is sort of used to it by now, so are the people it seems." And yet military wasn't involved or the government. How this was she didn't know as it baffled her.
"You seem new..." She said slowly. She was admittedly new also but he somehow seemed newer to this thing than she did. "Sailor Nephthys." Holding out a hand.

"So weird, that everyone is used to this," he said. He couldn't imagine ever being used to the way things were now. Officers, Janus was sure he'd heard about them before, they worked for the other side? Something like that anyway. "I haven't run into one yet either. Not sure I want to now that you've said that," he laughed nervously, what were these others like? Rabid like the monsters? Or something else? "Sailor Janus," he said as he shook her hand, giving her a smile. "And what gave me away?" He pulled at his hair nervously, "I guess that depends on your definition of new..."

"It is, it's sad. But it's what happens after years of this going on and it just escalating." She said, thinking back to the kidnappings of New Years and the events of that evening. That night had been all over the place and yet people were used to it, they didn't blink and they even still went to big events, when they were likely traps or were just going to be attacked.
"I've dealt with a few officers, not exactly pleasant." No, though she had encountered one of them more than once. She wasn't sure if it was bad luck or what but she wasn't looking to run into him again. "They seem more apt to fight with fists and weapons." And tha against magic...especially if the magic wasn't all that strong or the magic was just not meant to inflict damage or pain, it wasn't a good situation.
"Good to meet you and it's easy, though I'm not looking to insult you." She said laughing at his nervous gesture and smiled. "You seem to not know certain things, and I'm new." And he seemed to know a bit less than she did. "I guess we both have a lot to learn." And she didn't feel so slow, or stupid perhaps was a better word, as she would if talking to someone who knew more and had done more.
"You shouldn't pull your hair."

"Will it ever end?" He asked, not really expecting an answer. It had been years and it didn't seem like there had been any resolution. "Are they like us? These officers." Now that he knew there were other types of enemies, other than monsters at least, he wanted to know what he was in for. "Nice to meet you, and you're right I know pretty much nothing, kind of wish it could stay that way..." he laughed, attempting to make light of the situation. It'd be a hell of a lot easier if he was just a 21 year old whose main concern was paying next months rent. "Just a habit, but you're right," he stopped fiddling. Not cool!

"I doubt it will. I haven't been involved long but I know how long things have been happening in this city." And that told her all she needed to know - this had been going on a long time.
"They are, in power level, but darker...dangerous feeling." She said figuring that was the easiest way to describe it, he'd know it when he felt one of them. There was no way to mistake one of them, as she'd learned.
"I think we all wish we knew nothing." She wished she did. "But it seems we're needed and if we all knew nothing...well we can only imagine what would have already happened to this city." Likely destroyed and how many dead or missing and presumed dead? Already the toll was likely higher than it should be, higher than cities surrounding this one she was sure. Cost of housing and living here was cheaper, who wanted to live in this city? "At least you know there are more of us now who can help, we do work together." Though she didn't know many herself. She did know that there were a lot of senshi and that they did work together, he had options for help and friends who could relate. It was better than being alone in this mess.
"It's ok, just not a good thing - unless your opting to go bald a t a young age." She said laughing softly.
