 Eileen decided to spend some time in the cafe near the Academy. It was one of her favorite places, mostly because it had free wi-fi and it also served some of the best bagels in town.
She tapped her finger on the crystal computer. She couldn't figure out what she wanted to do. Play a game or surf the net database? In the back of her mind, she always picked playing games but it really depended on how lazy she was today.
"Eh, I'll decide after having lunch." she said as she closed her crystal computer and placed it back in her bag. She then looked for the lunch line to see how long it was
Seems she was lucky since only five nightmares were in line waiting for food. Better get in line before more show up she thought. She then got up from her chair and joined the lunch line.
After a few minutes passed without so much as a budge, Eileen got impatient and started tapping her hoof on the tile floor.

 It was that time of day where the cafe was going to start getting busy. Dodger was in between on when he liked being busy at work and when he just really didn't feel like it most of the time. Right now? He really just didn't feel like it.
"Hey there. Welcome to the cafe. What can I getcha?" ... And then there was one of those kind of customers that was such a pain. He stood there and listen to them ramble off a weird order, and just as he was getting ready to send it back, they up and decided to change just about everything in it. It was so hard for him not to groan and roll his eyes, but he sure did his best to try not to. There may have been some involuntary eye rolling, but he didn't know.
It seemed to take forever, but he was finally done with the troublesome customer. And then the customer that told him their entire life story after ordering just a coffee. Can't forget the one that spilled their drink all over the counter and onto him as well. Thank goodness for the apron he had to wear. It was seeming like the rush hour was going to be rotten as hell, but then he saw a super cute girl who was just behind the customer at the counter. Thank the gods that the next customer wanted to get out of there just as much as he wanted them to be gone.
Grinning from ear to ear as it was finally his chance to talk to the cute girl, Dodger started with the opening line... or he tried to anyways. "Hey! Welcome to the Dodger. My name is cafe.... Wait. That didn't come out right." Oh dammit... But all he could do was laugh at himself. He held up his paw, one claw held up to ask for a moment while he tried to stop laughing. Taking a breath as he tried to not laugh again, he gave it another shot. "Lemmee try that again. Hey! Welcome to the cafe. My name is Dodger. What can I getcha?"

Finally, it was Eileen's turn. She walked up to the counter, taking a few glances at the cashier. A Grimm? They seemed to be popping up everywhere now she thought.
She got a bit lost in her own thoughts, but she quickly came back to reality. She heard the Grimm mess up his words and she couldn't help but giggle.
"Hello, um, I think I'll take a bagel with extra cream cheese. That is, if you still serve bagels this late." she said to the grimm.

Dodger waited for that cute girl to say something as she seemed a little lost in her thoughts. Smirking, he couldn't help find that pretty gosh darn cute about her. Especially when she laughed. Even though it was at his mess up, that at least made the embarrassing moment worth it!... Well, it wasn't all that embarrassing. Or that's what he was trying to tell himself anyways.
"Bagel and cream cheese, huh? No coffee or tea? Well that's a bit different. You sure you don't wanna try this salted caramel tea we got in? On the house today if you want." he offered, giving a wink. "I'm a fan of the stuff, myself." The Grimm moved around behind the counter, grabbing up the bagel and placing it in the slicer, then grabbing up a couple containers of cream cheese and a plastic knife. He slid them into a bag, placing it on the counter, then went to start on the cup of tea.
It took a minute for him to get the tea all set, grabbing up some creamer and sugar and putting them in the bag as well as he set the cup on the counter. "Careful. It's hot." And then giving a spin about, he snitched up the bagel in a paper wrapper, plopping it into the bag and rolling the top a couple times. "Hey.... I know this is totally random, but I know this place having an open mic night tonight. They have some pretty great nachos and there's some hilarious acts. Well... more painful to the ears than anything, but it makes for a great time. I dunno if it's your sort of thing, but maybe would you like to meet up there?" Wow... random invite out of no where? Where did that come from?! All the same, he leaned on the counter and gave her a grin, waiting and tail wagging

Eileen seemed shocked. A free drink? No one ever gives her free stuff. She couldn't turn it down, espically from a cute nightmare. "Thank you so much! This literally made my day." she said, beaming from ear to ear.
She waited for Dodger to finish packing her things in the bag, thinking she should mention something. She wanted to keep talking to him. He was so kind to her and she couldn't let him get away.
Once the grimm mentioned meeting again, she was relieved and happy. Thank Oreia he offered. She didn't know how to offer to hang out herself. She smiled, moving her hair slightly from her face and said "I'd love to go and meet you there. Sounds pretty fun. Where is it at? "

"No prob! Anything to put a smile on that cute face of yours~" he said, smiling as he gave a wink. He quickly leaned to the side, checking to see if anyone else was around. Oh good! She was the last in line for the moment. Yes! "And hey... if you think just getting it makes your day, just wait until you get to try it! Seriously. I'm not big on coffee or tea a lot of the time, but this stuff is awesome."
Dodger couldn't help but watch her as she brushed her hair out of her face. It was then that he noticed it was a short cut and totally cute on her. He had been paying more attention to her pretty green eyes and her nose. Her nose was pretty dang cute.
When she said she'd love to meet up with him, he grinned a cheek splitting grin. He shifted his stance a bit, but stayed leaning over the counter. "It's at this weird cafe place a few blocks down the road." Standing up again, Dodger reached over and grabbed a pen up from a cup on the counter and a napkin just a stretch the other way, scribbling something down. "Okay... This is the name of the place and my cell number. You wanna meet up there or here? I'm cool either way with it, but it could be fun to walk there together." and he slid the napkin across the counter to her, still grinning.

Eileen face turned bright red. She could feel the heat off her face. Ah, gotta calm down before he notices she thought to herself. Her face started slowly returning to her pale complexion but as soon as she noticed he was looking at her, she blushed again. Oh jeez, thanks a lot face.
She grabbed the napkin and pulled it up so she could see. Eileen then looked back at Dodger, nodding at his question. "I think walking together would be fun too. We can get to know each other more." she said. Her mind was racing as she was filled with excitement. She couldn't wait to meet with him again later tonight.
Eileen looked behind her, seeing there was a customer approaching the line. She turned her head back at Dodger, frowning a bit. She placed her hand in her right pocket, looking for some paper. When she thought there was none, Squeaks, her flitterrat pet popped his head out of her left pocket. Seemed he had some paper for her. Eileen rolled her eyes and took it out of the his mouth. "
"You always save the day." she chuckled at her pet.
She turned back at Dodger, and placed the paper on the counter. "Here, let me give you my number too." she said while grabbing the grimms pen. She wrote down her number quickly, and handed to Dodger.

When Dodger noticed he made the super cute Bapho girl blush like crazy, he couldn't help feeling a bit proud... And try as he might, he couldn't tamper that big ol grin on his face down. He thought it was the cutest thing to see and wondered if she'd still be a bit like that again tonight.
"I couldn't have said it better myself! I did hear it was supposed to be chilly, so at least it's right down the way." Wow. What the heck did he just say? That was one of the worst possible things that could have come out of his mouth now that he thought about it. Especially since there was less chance to help keep her warm as they walked sort of thing. Which he decided it wasn't so bad now because that might be moving too fast? Ugh! His brain wouldn't stop.
He totally missed her looking back as his mind came to and there was but a frown to be seen on that cute little face. Though he was somewhat amused watching her and seeing her little Flitterat make itself known. That was unexpected and made him smirk.
He Grimm's mouth opened to say something, but he couldn't really manage when he found himself more amused by his pen being stolen. "Alrighty then!" he said with a laugh. When she seemed finished with scrawling her name and number out, he snitched up the napkin and his pen in return, tucking the pen behind his ear. "I go through a zillion of these. If I let you walk out with it, you might decide not to meet up with me because it's too awesome to give back." He grinned at her again then peered down at the napkin. "Eileen... The name fits!" Cute name for a cute girl!
And then he noticed the other customer behind her. Dang it. Smirking, Dodger made himself stand up like he was supposed to. "I guess I'll see you tonight, then?" He just had to make sure she was going to come. He was far too excited for it now and just needed to hear her say it.

This was so exciting for Eileen. She got a cute guys number and is going out with him. I'm so lucky she thought.
She couldn't help but make a giggle while blushing. "Thank you. Your name is pretty nice too." Eileen noticed the customer was right behind her now too, and she knew she had to get going. She looked back at Dodger and smiled.
"Yes, I'll see you tonight. Give me a text when you're ready to go." She said while waving. Then, she grabbed her bag and drink and walked out, feeling excited for whats to come tonight.

At this point, if Dodger grinned any more he was almost certain that his face would split. He was far too excited and thrilled about this. He hadn't had a date in forever. And this date was actually with someone he was sure liked him like he did her already. Relief.
"Ahhhh... It's an okay name" he started, waving his hand as he tried to be funny and nonchalant at the same time. "if you like those guys who are cool like their names are." What? Ugh... He was just embarrassing himself now. Not that it would help him any if his brain and mouth met at the middle ground like they are supposed to because they were both trippin' over this girl.
It all seemed to end too fast when she grabbed up her bag and drink, saying goodbye as she turned to leave. Dodger waved back, leaning over the counter again. "Totally will! See you tonight Eileen!" and then she was gone. Dang. Well... if truth be told, there was one good thing about her leaving. The view. He couldn't say he didn't like it. Sighing happily, he stared off as he leaned over the counter. Of course the customer that snapped their fingers at him brought him back and he gave a nervous laugh. "Hey! Sorry about that! Welcome to the cafe. I'm Dodger. What can I getcha?"SpuddyZombie And we're done with this one! Onto the next RP! XD <3
