Why had she chosen to write about that particular event for the language arts class? She could have chosen any other one and not had this problem! Elliah scrubbed a hand across her cheeks again in an attempt to stave off tears. The assignment had been to write about a significant event and immediately what had popped into her head was the reason she was currently attending Asphodel instead of her old school. The baphomet took a shaky breath, trying to calm herself down. There wasn't anything she could do about it now aside from doing the best she could and making it big. It was embarrassing that she had nearly broken down in class. She had to get a hold of herself.
Hopefully nobody had seen her leave the class like this. That would just be too embarrassing. Her face would be all blotchy and her eyes would be red-rimed, she knew it without having to look into a mirror. The classroom she'd ducked into had, thankfully, not been in use and she could clean up a bit before she went to her next class.
