Hyperborea felt the small chaos aura of lieutenant nearby. She decided to investigate it, if the lieutenant was starting trouble it was Hyperborea's duty to stop them and if they weren't well then maybe she could convince them that they were playing for the wrong side.

So the cosmos squire made her way to the owner of the aura. She saw a woman wearing some sort of purple suit who had green, purple, and brown hair. She looked familiar to Hyperborea but she couldn't put her finger on why.

"Bonsoir, I am Hyperborea. Might I ask what you are doing out here." She asked as she made herself known if the lieutenant hadn't already felt her aura as she approached.

Cavansite was feeling kind of lazy, plain and simple. She wanted some excitement…she wanted to do something…but at the same time…she kind of wanted to go home, curl up with a bottle of wine and sleep. She was actually on her way home when a voice sounded behind her.

Did someone really just introduce themselves starting with Bonsoir? Seriously? What, was this some cutesy soap opera? Slowly the lieutenant turned around, raising a brow. Oh. It was one of the shiny ones. One of the people like that one girl…the one she took the…

The one she took something from. Maybe this girl had something shiny we could take as well…

The lieutenant gave her a look over and nodded thoughtfully. Maybe those earrings. They were quite pretty. And this girl looked so young. How silly these people were to keep recruiting children. It was insane.

“Hyperborea, hm? They call me Cavansite. You have quite a lovely outfit there, I really do love those earrings. I do indeed. Little stars. How cute.” She allowed her weapon to appear in her hands, grinning. “See? I like stars too!”

If only her star could actually do something.

A wand, her weapon? Is she trying to make a threat? The weapon it's self isn't dangerous, though I shouldn't assume that she doesn't know how to fight either. If she likes stars maybe I can use that to reach her. Hyperborea thought to herself.

"Merci, Cavansite." She said blushing a bit at the compliment. "If you truly like stars, you're playing for the wrong team. It is Senshi and Knights who walk among the stars not Metalia's agents." She said in a friendly manner while also keeping her guard up, inwardly at least.

"You should reconsider your allegiance, I think you'd look good in white if I might say so." She said with a smile.

Ugh. Cavansite wanted to vomit at the thought of ever joining that side of this war. It was positively nauseating. How could she even consider being wrapped in something that made her feel as though she was locked in a room with dozens of vanilla scented candles? The thought was disgusting, but her smile remained, though her eyes might have narrowed just slightly.

“Oh you think I’d look good in white, running and skipping around the stars with you and your little friends, do you?”

She looked the squire over again and sighed, trying to make it sound as dramatic as possible. “Well, I suppose that maybe I could be persuaded to at least try to think about it…if you give me one of your pretty earrings as a token of our…budding friendship?”

Once she had what she wanted, well. Maybe she would just see what would happen. But if this girl actually thought she would consider joining her side.
It was laughable.

A frown formed on her face. "I do alot more than 'run and skip around the stars'." She said in a bit of a petulant tone. She took offense to the implication that she was just some flighty pixie fluttering about the cosmos.

She raised an eyebrow but ultimately shrugged. "You can have both if you really want them. Its not like jewelry matters that much to me." She said as she brushed her long white hair aside and undid both her earring holding them out for the older lieutenant. It was true, she could easily get jewelry just like them as either Ciel or Hyperborea. Plus she was fairly certain the earrings would just reappear next time she powered up. Though she wasn't sure if the earrings she was giving up would disappear when she powered down or not but that wasn't really her concern.

"I do hope you'll honestly consider it. Order isn't perfect but its a much better life then you'll have as Metalia's slave." Hyperborea said.

Cavansite took the earrings and grinned, holding one of them up to her own ear. “Oh yeah? Do I look pretty? I feel so pretty with these, thank you ever so much.” A moment later the earrings had disappeared into subspace, right back to where they belonged. Taking things from senshi and knights was just ever so much fun…and one day she wanted to really take a look at all of her treasures, when she had the chance.

“Oh yes, oh of course I’ll consider it, of course I will.” It took all of the willpower that the lieutenant had not to roll her eyes. “But you know…”

She took another step nearer shrugging. “…Being ah, what did you call it? ‘Metalia’s slave’? That has it’s perks too, you know.”

She was almost close enough to go for the starseed. Almost, but not quite there yet. “You know, I think I’ve considered it, and I have come to my decision. Hell no. I don’t want to be a goody two shoeed loser running around the city.”

Almost as if to better illustrate her answer, she gave the squire a nice thwack on the head with her fairy wand. Sure there was no damage, but damn if she didn’t hit hard enough to snap the piece of junk wand in half.

“Now look what you did you terrible person! What on earth am I supposed to do now?” How could she ever explain that she had broken her weapon? Even if it was for a good cause…It had been over the head of a squire…but it was just…it was broken.

"Owww!" She whined as she clutched the spot on her head where the wand had hit. There would probably be a lump there now.

Alright fine if you want to be a jerk like that then no more ms. nice-squire. She thought to herself as she quickly touched the purple face of her signet ring and was quickly enveloped in the silver starlight sheen of cosmos.

"I'm so sorry. Let me hug you to make it better." She said with faux sweetness before quickly closing the distance between them. She didn't give the woman a chance to react before she wrapped her arms around the woman's torso pining her arms down.

"Just to let you know being a knight has its own perks." She whispered to the woman.

Cosmos Aspect
The silvery sheen of starlight covers the Knights of the Cosmos, and their touch is just as heavenly. It's warm and pleasant to most, but acidic and painful to corrupted beings. For the followers of Chaos, physical contact with one of these Knights feels like a mild chemical burn: although it does little in the way of damage, it's hard to tolerate it.

Cavansite was too busy fretting over her broken wand to really even realize what was going on until the squire had her arms wrapped around her. What the…?

And all of the sudden…there was pain. And enough pain that it…well, it hurt. “Ah! What the hell are you doing you creepy fairy ******** doll?” She scrambled to get away, thrashing and trying to hit Hyperborea with the broken wand again, trying to do something to get the hell away from the pain.

This was not fair! How could this princess wannabe do something like that?
…who knew that these pretty people held so much power. Well…that was a mistake she wouldn’t make again. Note to self, don’t let the white clad idiots touch you…

Never again.

Hyperborea just ignored Cavansite's thrashing about. It was was wide, uncoordinated, desperate. The woman wasn't a fighter clearly, and the strength and speed difference between squire and lieutenant gave Hyperborea the clear edge. She kicked the woman's feet out from under her and drove her own weight into her, sending them both to the ground.

Hyperborea took the opportunity to move her hands from around the woman's mid section to her neck in a half cross choke. She put pressure on Cavansite's throat to choke her. She didn't let up she keep the hold until it looked like the lieutenant was about to pass out before she finally let go.

She stood up and deactivated her aspect. "That is what a life of chaos will bring you, pain. You should consider yourself lucky I'm merciful, there are senshi and knights who would have killed you there without a second thought. I seriously suggest you think about what I said. Oh but if you are dead set on being a servant to chaos, one warning if I ever see you hurting a civilian I will hurt you far worse." She warned a dark look on her face. She turned to leave no longer caring about what the woman's reply was.

Had Cavansite not been so distracted with both her ruined weapon and the sudden and unexplainable pain, there would have been no way that this child would have bested her, difference in rank or not.

As the squire walked away, the lieutenant laughed, getting up and rubbing at her neck. “Oh yeah sure, talk your big talk pretty little gumdrop. Next time I’ll be ready for you, too.”

She stood and walked the other way, getting a fair amount of distance away then jumping onto a nearby rooftop.

Well, this encounter had made quite a few questions arise…but the most pressing one was just what all that pain was from, and how she could get around it if it ever happened again. Good questions…and she wasn’t totally empty handed…

She had a new pair of earrings after all.
