Midas couldn't explain why she kept coming back to being a Senshi. When she'd been in college, she'd had a million things to do to occupy her time. Tests, organizations, studying, charity work - her planner had been so full of 'To Dos' that she had once had to schedule in every ounce of fun she'd planned. Now that she'd graduated and been forced to move home by her overbearing parents, her life was miserably void. Unless there was a gala being hosted that required her attendance, she often had little to do after work each day.
Except for the random dates her father so casually set up with a moment's notice.
A long sigh passed the lips of the senshi, blowing out a billow of smoke into the night air. The cigarette in her fingers burned low, guttered, and she finally let it drop to the sidewalk before she smashed it out with the flat of her heels. It was as she was staring down at the remnants of the tobacco that she felt the energy signature, circling closer on her. A small thrill zipped through her as she realized she might, for once, actually earn herself some type of entertainment that wasn't running from a hungry youma. It wasn't a Negaverse signature, it was..
Her teeth grit a little as she realized who it reminded her of - the mirror senshi from the library so, so long ago. She'd not encountered one in a long time, but she remembered the ferocity he'd brought to the fight. Her gaze swept up along the skyline, waiting, searching.
"I know you're there, don't bother trying to sneak up on me."
