It wasn’t that Aerona was laying in wait for Forera to walk by to ambush her or anything. When she happened by, though, Aerona knew: something had to be done. The renovation on the old Abandoned Village had gone by without an altercation or explanation, and the silence was unacceptable. The time that passed only ensured Aerona’s cynicism. The Initiative couldn’t allow any more cracks in the system and Aerona took it upon herself to deal with it personally. Right about now. “Hey, Studs.” Aerona called. She dropped from her lounging spot in the swamp tree she was sitting in and landed on the ground with a heavy thud. Aerona put her hands on her hips. “I’ve got a bone to pick with you about that purpleblood kid.” She growled. Aerona tried to keep her voice as level as possible, but her temper was already flaring up behind her freckled cheeks. There was no way in hell she’d let this one be a slow burn -- putting Forera in her place had to happen, stat.

Forera dealt 6 damage. "A bone t'pick, hah?" Forera responded coolly, holding a heavy load of wood for the construction propped up on her shoulder. Her mouth curled into a frown and her actual fist clenched, gaze hardening into steely gaze. Not only was she feeling like constant s**t because of her lack of interaction with others, the tealblood felt quite alone after the team had fought and this only cemented her frustration. A wide grin spread across her face. She'd been wanting a fight for a while. "Well, if that's th'case..." Forera responded with a level voice, dropping all but one large wooden plank. Her anger was getting the better of her, and honestly, Forera didn't care at the moment. Steadying her grip on the heavy thing, Forera immediately launched into a fight, slamming the plank straight into the younger teens stomach. "I gotta big plank wit'yer name on it, Rona."

Forera turned... And then struck. All of the air rushed out of Aerona's body. She toppled backwards in shock and disbelief, and a great deal of pain. For precious moments she tried to regain her senses, wheezing and turning over to recover. Finally, she managed a sputtering curse. "******** you then!"
She stumbled, the treads of her boots trying to find solid ground. Senses slowly coming back meant that she had to awkwardly scramble away from the tealblood and her weapon in order to get any chance of coming back from this situation. Aerona spat on the ground and whipped her lighter out of her pocket. Forera really had it coming now.

Forera dealt 4 damage. Forera wasn't about to hurt her while she was still recovering from the blow, watching her carefully and adjusting her grip on the plank. She merely looked at her with a large frown on her face, fuming. Forera snarled, anger boiling with every moment she saw her freckled face. She then threw the plank at the other, anger fueling her movements. She was already wearing her gauntlets, mostly to be able to lift the plank in general and in case of any interruptions on the way. However, Forera was still not angry enough to actually hit her with her fists, but she clenched them to show she was definitely willing to do so. "Now, leave me alone. I gotta help with building."

HP: 10/20 Wow, 2 damage, excellent. Agi B (adept): 1/2 Military weapon (Using the old agi b mechanics because we started this RP before the update) Aerona fell back again from the blow, this time catching herself. She lunged forward and grabbed Forera's (non-robotic) hand, wrenching it up with a snarl. "I just wanted to talk to you, you acidic b***h." She twisted her arm and flicked on her lighter for good measure. "And this is how you act? You're a damn disgrace." Aerona hoped to make her point, but since the tealblood had been hotblooded as usual she kept her grip and readied herself for the next blows.

Forera dealt (6+2 from weapon) 8 damage. She merely watched as the teen grabbed her actual arm, not even moving her hand with the knowledge that she could easily kick her away. The words spewing from Aerona's mouth were filled with so much disgust Forera could feel her skin crawl, and the teen yelped when she twisted her arm, watching the flames burn on Aerona's lighter. It reminded her of the intense burns she'd received from their escape, provoking instinctual thrashing to keep the flames away from her person. She pulled herself out of her grip roughly and instantly created some distance between the two of them, eyes narrowed, shaking her arm a little to get the pain out of it before getting into a battle stance. "If you wanted to talk then you would've started with what you wanted to <******** say." She snarled, quite sure she was taking the easy way out by saying she just wanted to "talk." She could've talked with her any other time, perhaps with someone else there to watch them, but she picked a time when there weren't many trolls around. Forera was convinced she was just looking for a time to beat her up, but she was having NONE of it. "You could've picked ANY other time, but you pick now." Her fake hand tightened into a fist, reeling it back, and rushing toward her, shoving it right into the teens stomach. Another followed soon after, from her actual hand.
"If anyone's a disgrace, you're it."

HP: 2/20 Agi B (adept): 0/2 Military weapon 6 Damage Dealt "Oof!" Aerona's stomach would be aching for nights after this. Tears welled up in her eyes. Forera was talking nonsense. She couldn't be talked with, couldn't be reasoned with. The epiphany met Aerona as the blows met her abdomen - she backed away with grunts and yelps, her teeth gritting and grinding in unbridled rage. Forera didn't let in the purpleblood because she was some kind of traitor - she was simply an idiot, a bimbo and likely a psychopath. Aerona's tactics changed now, ratcheting above and beyond her original "diplomatic" ideals. She certainly no longer cared if Forera was her friend, or even an acquaintance any longer. Screw the time they'd spent in the woods - their struggle during the set-up of the rebel base and the swamp parent. It was ironic - fighting together meant nothing, apparently. It was exactly the same message she'd tried to beat into Forera's empty head when she'd invited a strange young purpleblood into their camp with open arms. How hilarious. Aerona began to snort and wheeze. With her remaining breath remaining, she broke out into sharp guffaws as she stumbled away from her attacker. "D-disgrace? T-too good!" She was crying with pain and laughter. "I was all wrong about you, Snakebite, but I get it now. No wonder no one likes you." She sneered and drew closer, snapping her lighter shut and putting it away. She gave Forera a light pat on the cheek.

Forera dealt 4 damage. Simply watching her laugh made her anger burn stronger and stronger, and she let her finish what she wanted to say with only a sharp, wide grin on her face. She watched her come closer, eyes dark, narrowed. She righted her robot hand, slamming it straight into the others chin and then pulling her other hand into one last hard hit, directly on her face. She shoved her down, snarling in anger. "I don't need anyone to ******** like me. I didn't join a rebellion to have people like me." She snapped, voice burning with anger, frustration rising until it reached its boiling point. "I joined it to have trolls like you get the <********> over yerselves and stop seeing yerselves as ******** victims because of yer damn blood color!" She snarled, baring her teeth in anger-- "If yer gonna keep being a filthy b***h because you're mad about some stupid system we're trying to abolish, then go ahead, be my gogdamn guest. Meanwhile, I'm going to get to ******** work, now leave me the ******** alone."
Abandoning the discarded plank, Forera stomped away in anger, finally settling on a decision on the question their leader posed her a few days back.

KO! CRACK. Bursts of white flares whizzed in front of Aerona as she felt her teeth straining – and a few of them chipping. Her jaw was knocked soundly, the sound of the thick metal gauntlets crashing in a sickening blow. As the hit finished connecting she became hazily aware of the immense amount of bruising there would be around her face. Aerona smiled as she fell to the ground. Fine. This was fine. Her eyes closed in a fog of whirling lights as she found she wasn’t sure which position her aching mouth was supposed to be in at rest. She wasn’t listening to Forera, but it didn’t matter. She didn’t get it. She never got it – a lost cause, the least that the redblood could do to retaliate was make sure that everyone else knew it too. As Forera threw the plank down and stalked away, Aerona twitched her nose and swished around the blood that had collected in her mouth. She could feel shards of her teeth swirling around inside, and with a look of satisfaction spat them out onto the ground. Aerona fished around with her fingers to determine the damage. Hey, at least they’d grow back. She rubbed at her tender jaw and immediately winced. Baiting Forera was worth it if everyone could see how much trouble she was. Poor, innocent Aerona just tried to have a chat with the fiery tealblood about the safety of the Initiative. She left with a broken and beaten face, not to mention bruised ribs and abdomen. Forera had left without a scratch. If that wasn’t black and white, Aerona didn’t know what was. It was time to go, but Aerona couldn’t find the strength to get up. She cursed quietly and went as limp as possible, trying to relax her muscles against the cold, swampy ground. A shower was in order. Conversations with the other rebels could come later – before her wounds would fade.
