Sauron strode out onto the beach and couldn't believe he had never been out here before, it was gorgeous and he liked the ocean it made him feel small and he hadn't felt small often since his youth..if he wasn't standing beside an alkidike of course, the wind blew and he busied himself with setting up a fire, at some point he looked up and saw a figure in the distance. He waved cheerfully. Hoping that the other person would be curious enough to come visit. In the interlude he went for a swim and cleaned up. He had to spend quite a bit of time drying his great mane of hair, it took a lot of maintenance but it was very much a part of him.

It looked like the male off in the distance was a waterling, wasn't that cool? Sauron hadn't met very many and he had always been interested in them.

Mano happily whistled to himself as he perched on the top of a rock, starring into the water a short distance below him. Their were fish of various varieties circling around the area, all of which looked quite tasty to him, but he was waiting patiently for a good sized one. He wanted something big enough to make him a good meal, not to mention that he wanted to try something new. He'd been in the area a while and had tried a lot of different varieties of fish but he knew that there were plenty more out there to be had. It was just a matter of waiting until that certain something delicious popped up in front of him! Once it did he was going to be sure to pounce.

Just as he thought that he caught movement out of the corner of his eye, something that caused him to turn slightly, spotting a Shifter standing there. He blinked a couple times, then grinned, "Well now, my thanks to On'os." He murmured to himself, ever grateful to the God of Fortune for his many blessings when it came to meeting up with such amazingly attractive people on his journey. Pushing himself up right he lifted his free hand, giving a wave, "Good afternoon, my amazingly attractive friend, how's it going?" He called out, ever one for handing out compliments, especially to those he found appealing... which covered a rather broad range of people. Today though his eyes were on this newcomer... which meant that for the moment fishing had fallen by the wayside.

Sauron blinked..was he amazingly attractive? Did this fellow have the unfortune of being surrounded by people who were not? Well Sauron was sure his other friends were nice on the inside. Maybe that was how waterlings greeted one another? "Ah ahem I'm doing excellent and how about yourself? Any fish?" Sauron preferred to eat bug himself or meat but fish was okay for a change once in a while. He liked the act of fishing itself that had to count for something right?

"I came up here for a wander, lived my whole life in Jauhar had never come to the beach so I thought I might as well." Skava his pale radaku came slinking out from the trees. "Don't be alarmed," Sauron gestured, "He is my bond. You being a spearman would know I'm sure, tell me do you plan on being a rider as well?"

"Good to hear." Mano said, his ears giving a little twitch. That the man hadn't balked at his compliments was always a good sign in his mind, it meant that he was approachable. At least he hoped he was reading it right, "Fish? Yep! Quite a few different sorts, I am just waiting in hopes of spotting something that I haven't tried yet. I rather like experiencing new things, what about you, handsome?" Oh but this one was attractive, wasn't he? Just look at those strong arms, he looked like he could easily man handle Mano if he wanted to... something that interested the Matori man greatly.

Hopping down off his rock he started toward him, giving a soft laugh, "You know you aren't the first Shifter I have met that came across me during their first trip to the beach. I do believe the God of Fortune has blessed me when it comes to such things." To be able to meet with not one, but two Shifters in a similar situation. Now, if only he was so lucky as to share with this one what he had with the other he thought to himself in a happy manner. Turning to one side he spotted the radaku that had come forth from the trees, yet another thing this Shifter had in common with the other he thought to himself, as well as the weapon. So many things in common, yet many, many things different upon first glance as well.

"Hm? Heh, oh yes! I am quite the fan of a good ride... though not the sort that involves beasts." He joked, giving the muscular Shifter a wink.

It was a good thing for Sauron that he hadn't been eating or taking a drink during their conversation for surely it would have gone one way or the other either spat upon the ground or lodged in his throat. "My you have an er way with words, I meant rider as in class." And to think Sauron had thought he was too old for such shenanigans..ahem. "Your not too er shabby looking yourself but I'm quite happily married..with five children." Sauron blushed furiously hoping he didn't offend the Matorian. "I'm sure there are plenty of singles out there though are you ah, looking for anyone in particular? A strapping lad, a curvy lady? I feel I was rather lucky myself. Well more then lucky." He shrugged his heavy shoulders helplessly. Surely there would be some lucky one out there for this fella.

"My name is Sauron and it is a pleasure to meet you." he held out his hand genially. "What brings you so far up the coast if I may ask? How do you like Jauhar?" From what he had heard of the views of Matori he wasn't sure why anyone would want to leave it besides perhaps political reasons.

Mano couldn't help but to laugh, "I figured, but that doesn't mean that what I said isn't true." He said with a wink, then grinned. This one was rather adorable wasn't he? Even though Mano knew that the man was likely older then him he couldn't help but to admire the man's amazing looks. As the other said that he was 'quite happily married with five children' Mano's grin got wider and he said, "Well, the offer of a fun ride still stands if you ever find yourself so inclined."

As the other asked him about if he was looking for anyoen in particular he thought about it, "Hrm, let's see... well, I can't say that I am really picky. Tall, short, thin or curvey, male or female... I find everyone quite appealing. The Wind Tribe and the Shifter Tribe especially, though I can't count out the Leaf Tribe since they are quite attractive as well." He said then gave a humming sound, "Those Alkidike too... bigger then me by a bit, but I think that might add to their appeal. Any other tribes you can recommend? I can't say I know much about the Ice Tribe, sadly enough. Haven't met a member of that group yet."

Giving a chuckle as Sauron introduced himself Mano took the man's hand, lifting it up to kiss his palm, "My name is Mano, it's very nice to meet you, Sauron." He murmured before saying, "I am on a fishing expedition, as for how I like Jauhar, thus far I am loving it. Beautiful land full of beautiful people, what's not to enjoy?"

"Well I have always found the ice tribe to be rather beautiful myself but well I was also lucky to meet one that was not as stuck up as I hear many others are, apparently kiyelt was raised by parents who appreciated ..div..diver.. um."

So much for his handshake, Sauron couldn't keep the flabergasted look off of his face, the man had kissed his palm, he felt like a young prentice princess and he was a spearman for Lerin's sake. 'My daughter seems to have taken after a hybrid and that in turn offers endless possibilities." Keep talking yes keep talking that was the key!

Sauron thought about tossing Kiyelt to him to see what would happen, maybe the male would stop his moping then..but crap he was back in Oba already, the chicken.

"I also love Jauhar, I've raised my kids here, but I have been doing a little traveling rather a chaotic trip to Tale had me limping back, you have to watch those kinfa and well here, but I guess this is still Jauhar just not a part I frequent. We live in Ast which is pretty deep in the jungle, you'll have to visit sometime." Maybe then he would flirt with Kelina and leave poor Sauron alone.

Mano gave a little grin at the look on Sauron's face, rather appreciating that he was able to make the married father of five studder out his words in such a manner. Even if he couldn't win him over he had at least made an impression. Much to his delight the man bounced back, once more talking about his kids, this time about how one of his daughters was interested in a hybrid. Giving a little whistle Mano nodded, "Haven't met one yet myself but you're definitely right, endless possibilities in the beauty they could hold. I will take that into consideration when I am next in a village." It might not be any time soon, but still something worth looking into for certain.

Leaning in close for a moment Mano seemed to be inspecting Sauron before giving a whistle, "I am most impressed, my handsome friend, that you have raised so many children. You don't really look old enough to have a daughter who is dating." He complimented Sauron before he tilted his head to one side, listening as Sauron talked about a trip to Tale, one that resuted in him limping home, from the kinfa that he mentioned shortly after he'd guess. Smiling he said, "I will be sure to give the kinfa wide berth, from what I've seen of them they get rather large so they are the last thing I want to anger." He wasn't at all a fan of the idea of being clawed up by a large, angry bird, thank you very much.

"Heh, so you're inviting me over, are you? Here I didn't think that you would want me coming home with you due to the whole being married thing. I would be only too happy to take you up on the offer though if I get to Ast. Never been there before though, so I am not sure how long it might take me to find the place." He mused, then said in a joking manner, "Unless of course you want me to follow you home like a cute janarim pup?"

"If you were to follow me home it would be your own decision, I have lived long enough to know that you shouldn't tell people where to go unless they ask for that advice, its a smallish village but you might find a few people of interest there." This one was certainly much different then most of the other people Sauron had had the pleasure of meeting over the years. Quite different. Skava inserted his pale head under Sauron's arm for affection. He acknowledged the waterling but as always was a rather genial radaku. "I hope one day he and I will make quite the daunting pair, it is quite a lot of work but radaku riding has been in my family for generations as far back as I can remember. I'm just glad I wasn't the first one to get eaten." he grinned. "Occupational hazard you see."

"Ast is a bit of a journey from here, but you are welcome to tag along if you are so inclined..haven't found a familiar of your own yet have you? Now that I have one I feel like I would be lonely without him....despite the large family but they don't always come you know."

"A few intereseting people, huh? Sounds promising." He said in a thoughtful manner, his fin ears giving a little twitch of excitement. If Sauron could lead him to some of these 'interesting people' it would definitely make his day complete. Better to have interesting people to chat with then being alone that much was for sure. The only down side would be that he would have to leave the ocean which had, to this point, provided him with many good meals, as well allowed him to meet with a lot of good people like Klaas, Ouen, and now Sauron. It would be a shame to leave it behind but he might meet more people if he went to Ast with Sauron. Giving a little humming sound he said, "I might tag along, though it would mean I would need to pack up my camp."

It would be good for him to try new things he thought to himself before his attention turned to the radaku that Sauron was petting, taking in its looking before he gave a nod, "I've seen one of these before, another Shifter I met named Ouen had one following him around. Are they a popular breed amoung Shifters?" He asked, wondering if they were like the preferred beast of the area or something. It seemed that having a radaku was a family thing for Sauron, but what about the others that had them? It was a curious thing. Giving a smile at something Sauron said the Matori man replied with, "I am glad that you weren't eaten up, that would have been quite the waste, and I would never have gotten the pleasure of crossing paths with you." That would have definitely of been a shame since Sauron was easy on the eyes.

"Hmr? Me? Naw, not yet. I was stalked by some weird, spiny frogs for a while, but I finally got away from them. I normally don't mind admirerers that want to spend time wth me but those guys..." He shook his head rapidly, "They seemed an unsavory bunch given the look in their eyes."

"I'm not sure that they are more common as pets there in our village or not, I've never really noticed, but they are common enough in the jungle and certainly once tamed afford some of the best protection, so it would be smart for them to be favored. I know that two of my children have one, our iceling friend does not but he spent most of his time in Oba and thus collected Oban creatures, not that he didn't try the radaku here but they proved too tough for him at that time."

"I'm not particularly that fond of Spitorogs either or Poscuta those cute rat things from Tale. Not my thing, and I have the bite scars from the Poscuta to prove it."

"Well laddie, if we are to get there we best get ourselves moving." He clapped the waterling on the shoulder, "The jungle is not the nicest place to be in the night, accompanying warriors and radaku not withstanding." He turned and started marching into the jungle, he was eager to be home.

Mano gave a thoughtful sound as Sauron explained to him about the radaku, that they were common in the jungle, and were worth taming for various reasons. He found himself wondering if he should go out there and find himself a radaku. If they were so useful then maybe he was a fool for not having one? At the same time he knew nothing about taking care of pets and wasn't sure how well he might do if he were to find a radaku. Might be best for him to leave it to the more knowledgable people?

Giving a half shrug he turned to look at Sauron, giving a bit of a laugh, "So their called poscuta, huh? I've dealt with them a few times coming into my camp trying to steal things but I wasn't sure what they were called. At least know I know what the little invaders are called for next time." It wasn't as though he thought that they wouldn't come back to try to steal things from him. If anything they had seemed to be pretty determined to get at anything that wasn't tied down the last time he'd had to deal with them.

"Huh? Oh, yeah! One second!" Mano said, bouncing from foot to foot for a moment before he rushed forward to where his camp was so that he could gather up his things up as quickly as he could. Once he got everything he needed gathered, and he'd kicked enough sand over his fire to put it out, he was chasing after Sauron who was leading the way to Ast.

The journey went relatively fast with Sauron knowing the way through the jungle and how to avoid unessesary obstacles and save time. Soon they were at the edge of Ast and Sauron couldn't help but feel his chest swell a little with pride, this was his home town after all and he was rather proud of it, not to mention the house he and Kelina had built for their family. "Here it is Mano my friend the humble city of Ast! Isn't it beautiful! Perhaps not as picturesque as the jungle itself but well there isn't much that beats that. He thumped the waterling companionably on his shoulder. "The market is over that way if you are in need of supplies and they make great food over there and this is where you get herbs from all over the place." He took Mano on an impromptu tour. "And that house over there has three beautiful single daughters which you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of if your patient."

"Over that way is where Kelina and I built our house, sometimes I sleep in the trees like all the other shifters..when I have too. But I prefer a house something solid." With plenty of places to hide his moss collection for healing.

The moment they had arrived in Ast Mano was looking around the place with a look of interest in his surroundings, "This is a rather beautiful village, the place itself and the people living in it. Have I told you that I am a big fan of your tribe? The way that your colors shift in the way it does, it's beauty that is indescriable. Calling it 'beautiful' just feels as though it falls short." He complimented Sauron and the others in the village as he took in the various Shifters around them, finding them all to be quite attractive. He really did wonder what caused the Shifters to change in the manner that they did. It was so lovely, something he had watched with complete awe the various times he'd seen Ouen doing during their time together.

Turning back to Sauron, giving his full attention to him, he said, "You two built your house yourselves? That is most impressive." He looked up toward the tree tops that seemed to reached the very sky, before looking down, "Sleeping in the trees sounds like it could be fun. I should definitely try that sometime soon. Maybe while I'm visiting your village I will do so. You're more then welcome to join me." The last part was said with a smile and a wink.

"Just don't roll out of the hammock, it never ends well." Sauron grinned. He was a tenacious flirt that was for sure. Skava poked at Mano with his nose curiously, he liked this waterling he had a good spirit. "I have to get some groceries for tonight, care to come along? You can pick what we all have for supper. There are endless dishes possible here."

Food was always the answer, besides he was always hungry it seemed now, had to be all the muscle talking..then again his boys were like hungry radaku all the time too so maybe it was just a dude thing. "Do you think you will ever have children Mano? They are quite the joy let me tell you."
