Tuatha'Ri Lake. It was a fairly cold day out to go to the beach, but she had a mission and wasn't going to take no for an answer. Aunt Nereus lived here, somewhere here, and she had a basket of treats she wanted to give to her for her birthday. Which she had already put off for three months after missing it. How was she to know even if naiads liked sugared fruit? Wouldn't they eat fish?
Come to think of it, she didn't know what exactly Naiads ate. Seaweed? Her sister Cressida hung out with a naiad, maybe she would know...
The demonness shook her head as her feet met the sand, blue eyes catching the reflection on the water. It was beautiful, calming and...humongous. "Oh nooooooo..." Where in guardians name did she even live in this lake?! And how was she planning on even getting to her? With the sweets? She couldn't go into the cold water with them. She hadn't really thought much ahead in this scheme. "Mom and dad are going to kill me." Soliel grumbled, already taking most of the day just to get here. And it was all in vain.

His bright, purple eyes almost seemed to glow as he watched the other teen make her way across the sands. Remy was unaware of how creepy it was that he was just watching her, he was merely curious where the sweet smell was coming from. The rainbow wolf boy had been wandering on his own. It was nice to get out and breathe in the fresh air, especially when you had three other siblings. The fresh, moist air by the lake had been tainted with the smell of sweets though. He followed his sensitive nose and was left staring at the girl. Remy had deduced that the smell was coming from her basket. What he couldn't understand was why she was just standing at the edge of the water with her basket. His tail wagged briefly as he thought of devouring the goodies, maybe she would go swimming and leave the basket unattended. No... That would be mean. Maybe he would do something like that to his siblings, but not a stranger. Curiosity had gotten the best of him by this point so he finally called out to the teen, "what are you doing?" She looked like she was about to go into the water with her basket. Tartara Seabreeze sorry, I know it's not my best. Intro posts stink.

She was unaware of the eyes on her, far too engrossed at the task in hand. The waters edge had stopped her advances, the cold water washing just inches from her toes. If she yelled really loud, how far would the sound travel under the water? She frowned. Probably not far. Soliel exhaled forcefully, blowing a strand of ruby red hair from her face.
As she glared daggers at the large span of water, a male voice popped into her ears. Her eyes shot wide as she jerked her head around to see. Quickly seeing the male she smoothed her features to hide her surprise. "Whats it to you?" She tried to play it off cooly. He totally didn't startle her! Nope! But if he was hanging around here, maybe he came here often. "Though I don't suppose you would, uh, know Nereus or Aysel? Just hypothetically speaking." Played it totally cool. Yup. Totally.Wolfs Heart XDD no, it's totes fine! I love that he was staring like a creeper

Remy's brow furrowed. What's it to him? Gee, it was just a question. The male would let it slide for now though, he had his eyes on the prize. Literally. His eyes were fixed on her basket. His mouth was salivating, now that he was closer the smell was more than he could bare. "Hm, nope!" He answered her second question, blatantly ignoring the first one. He wasn't all that familiar with anyone outside his family. His world was big enough with them. He was nosy though, "Are they meeting you here?" They probably were. That's probably who the goodies were for. He probably wasn't going to get any. His perky tail drooped at the thought.

Curses. It was a long shot, but still a hope that he knew them. Back to square one. "Not exactly. Sort of a one sided meeting." In that it was just her. With her basket. That the rainbow pae was quite obviously staring at.
And was that a poofy tail? She had quite a few family members that looked different. Siofra with her hooves, Cressida with antennae, Leif with his wings. No one had a floofy tail though. And rather soft looking ears. In spite of herself she wanted to touch them, just to know if they were as soft as they looked. "You...curious at the basket?" She spoke with one eyebrow raised. Slowly she lifted the mentioned container, a thin cloth covering it's contents.

Remy wasn't entirely sure what the girl met by a one sided meeting. "So, they're not coming then?" The teenaged boy, fueled by his stomach, was completely oblivious to how obvious he was being, staring at the basket the way that he was.
"No!" He responded much too quickly. Who was trying to play it cool now?
His eyes had rapidly jumped up from the basket to the girl. It was the first time he had actually looked at her: this girl with skin like the most beautiful nighttime sky he had ever seen.
Remy was suddenly embarrassed by the way this conversation had been going so far and blushed.

"Well..." Should she tell the rainbow pae, a complete stranger?
It wasn't exactly like she had much else to do. "Sorta hard for them to show up...when they don't know they were supposed to meet up." Soliel admitted grudgingly, looking a touch embarrassed herself. Planning apparently was not her strong suit.
At his sudden outburst of 'no' she stifled a laugh, but couldn't hide her grin. "So...I guess you wouldn't be interested in keeping me company for a few minutes in exchange for a handful of the goodies inside?" Nothing was lamer than sitting alone on a beach.

"Oh..." He paused for a moment, wondering if there was a solution to her problem. That was why she had asked if he knew them though, she didn't know how to find her friends. "There must be some way to get ahold of your friends..." It was counterproductive to his own mission, but he was trying to make up for the way things had gone now. "Well... I..." The male scratched behind his canine ears. "No." "I mean..." The teen had just rejected her, he had not meant to do that. "I mean.... Yes, but..." The next part was really hard to say, so he said it very slowly. "You. Don't. Have. To. Give. Me. Anything. You can save it for your friends." There, he had said it. As much as he wanted whatever was in that basket, he didn't want her to think that was the only reason he would keep her company.

"That's my current problem...I don't know how. You see they're naiads, and it's not like I can search the whole lake." As his hand moved, her attention was brought back to his ears. His soft, furry ears.
He was a rather awkward male.
It was kind of adorable.
"I'm sure they wouldn't miss one or two. But if you insist..." She spoke with a smile, catching on to how hard it was for him to say it. "I don't suppose you have any ideas on how to find them. My current plan was sit here for a while and hope they popped up." Brilliant plan, she knew. But it wasn't like she had too many options.Wolfs Heart I wanna touch the fuzzy ears! crying

"Oh... They live in the lake." That explained why she looked like she was about to jump in earlier. "I guess yelling really loudly wouldn't work?" the boy tilted his head. He knew what naiad were, his parents had educated him on the basics, but he had never actually met one. It didn't seem like naiad were all that accessible now that he thought about it.
Remy plopped his bottom on the sand. "No, sitting and waiting sounds like a good idea." The chances of her friend coming up seemed pretty slim, but surely they would see at least one naiad who could go knock on their door... Or something.
It would quickly become apparent to the other how difficult it was for Remy to just sit and wait. His ears would twitch, he'd shift to one side, then the other, he'd fidget with his tail. And it hadn't even been a minute.

She giggled at his suggestion. That was just what she thought! "If they're at the bottom of the lake, no way." She followed his lead to sit down, but before she could even get situated the male seemed...fidgety. His ears flicked, tail floofed, or he'd move his whole body.
"Are...you alright? If you were busy with something else, I really don't mind." That was the thought that popped into her head. He was fidgety because he wanted to get back to whatever he was doing.

"Silly naiad, hiding in the lake. Not that your friends are silly... Or hiding." The boy cleared his throat. He was unaware of how much he was moving as he sat there. "No, I wasn't really doing anything before I smelled you-r basket." He may have not been doing anything, but he had been occupied. "I was just going for a walk, but I can hang out with you." "Come here fishy, fishy." He called out as he leaned forward to splash the water with his hands. "I have a sister." He informed her as he continued to splash at the surface. It might have seemed to come out of no where, but since this girl was a teenaged girl also, it made sense to him to tell her this. "Her name is Aurelia..." It occurred to him that he didn't know this girl's name. "What's your name?"

Another giggle. So adorable! "I'm glad my basket was so alluring." As he splashed the water, she leaned forward slightly. It was a silly idea, yelling out to the lake. She knew it wouldn't work. But... "Ne-reus! Ayyyysel! Come out!" The demon called before listening expectantly. Of course nothing came of it, to which she leaned back with a chuckle.
"Aurelia...pretty name. I have a brother. Two actually. Junior and Shageki." It was only polite to return information with information. When he asked for her name though, she blinked. Had they really gone so far into conversation without exchanging names? Guardians, they really hadn't! "Ah, I didn't say did I. I'm Soliel, nice to meet you...you." As she spoke, a hand slipped into the basket. When she pulled it out, a plump, delicious sugar coated strawberry was in hand. "I wonder how these turned out."

"I have two brothers... Too!" He grinned That grin quickly vanished as Soliel pulled out the sugared strawberry. Now that was just rude, he had already said he wasn't going to take any treats. Remy's eyes were fixated on the strawberry, his mouth partially opened. The boy blinked and looked away, but he could still smell it! Ugh. He whimpered, a genuine puppy dog cry, "They smell like they turned out very good." His voice sounded heartbroken.

"Really? Guess large families are pretty common!" What if all families were really large? Interesting thought.
But as she looked at the strawberry, she tried not to smile at his whimper. Exactly what she thought. "I really wish I could know though before I handed them off. But I'm pretty full from eating earlier...and you said you didn't want any." Her blue eyes flicked over to his amethyst, trying her best to look hopeless. "Are you sure you wouldn't want to try one for me?"Wolfs Heart Her master plan has been revealed! XDD
