Quote: Four years of horrible troll adventures! Let's roll out the party poppers and tango the night away. Also a general large thank you to everyone for keeping the shop full of life, you guys are the reason we keep a-going! We have two pick-your-own-blood colour premades for everyone, two mutant custom trolls for our loyal veterans, and one newbie friendly semi-custom. In addition, we have alt art, lusus art, and some miscellaneous prizes to give out in the other thread! Finally, throughout the event there will be smaller mini-events in the main thread to increase your fun value - or at least give you more opportunities at prizes.
We also have a new festival to introduce, the Harvest Moon Jubilee!
The jubilee is a festival that is predominantly celebrated by on-planet trolls. It is celebrated each solar sweep as the night where all three of Alternia's moons are at their largest, brightest, and most visible, which happily coincides with the solstice - the longest night of the sweep. The jublee is a time of celebrating the bounty of Alternia, as well as the beautiful sight of it's three moons hanging in the sky. Lanterns in the colours of the moons are lit, crops are harvested, and there is general revelry and merry-making within the troll population. Even seadwellers, usually distanced from their land brethren, waddle up onto the beaches to celebrate the night when the tides are the highest.
Quote: => Nov 18 - Event opening! => Nov 30 - Harvest Moon Jubilee final day! => Dec 1 - Mushroom Hunt Ends, Stargazing, Kid's Rodeo, Jubilee Reflection, Design a Float deadlines!
These rules apply to every part of this event unless explicitly stated otherwise. 1] Only one troll and one art edit may be won per person per event. 2] Users cannot compete in events for others, or give away their prize. 3] Staff reserves the right to withhold event EP, it is a reward and a bonus, not an obligation. 4] Premade events will always favour newbies (0-1 trolls owned). 5] Premades will be rehomed if users take over the time allotted to get them approved. 6] Users cannot claim a won custom/premade if they already have three child-stage trolls. Prizes will be re-distributed if a user is at their limit. 7] Users are never able to gift in-character prizes between their own trolls.

To gain the ep they must either keep the banner in/use the check in code in this thread for a minimum of 10 days, or have had at least two referred users post in the main thread. If a referred user participates in any event games, the advertiser can pick up one more event point, bringing the total to 2.

The perfect opportunity for star gazing strikes you and you gaze into the heavens.
Trolls have traversed the stars for generations – but yours has never left the planet. As you look at the plethora of sparkling extraterrestrial bodies in the Alternian sky, you reflect on what they mean to you, how they have changed the life of every troll from the inception of the species, and how trolls in turn have changed them and given them meaning. There are a number of constellations that have mythological, historical and deeply personal meaning in the night sky, and tonight it’s as though you can see them all!
This contest is for users who have been active in shop for 1+ years, who own at least 2 trolls, one of which is currently a teen or older, and who do not already own any mutant/mutantblood trolls. The winning entry will be able to create a semi-custom mutantblood or physical mutant troll (extra body parts, wings, etc - this will also be a power). This will be subjected to the premade rehome rule. The topic of this theme is constellations. Your troll spots one in the sky, and reflects on it. Feel free to create figures and events out of troll mythology and ancient history, and get creative. If we find your entry interesting enough, we might just turn your constellation into shop canon! Please write in third person past tense, with the perspective being from one of your current shop trolls. Entries must be 250 words minimum and attach the form below. Please don’t edit your posts after submitting!
What a lovely starry night! Oh look, I see ... Troll: your shop troll being used for this
Quote: •Nov 18 - Nov 29 On the outskirts of the Jubilee is a quaint shack covered in a tent striped in red and yellow. It’s a lone stand carved out near the edge of the forest with a simple dirt path leading to it. But, it appears to be an official part of the festivities – as well as an apparent mainstay of the small village. The “MUSHROOM KITS AND TRAIL SUPPLY” sign on the front of the shack has been covered in another that reads: “JUBILEE MUSHROOM HUNT” In peppy font, with little smiling faces drawn in thick paint on fresh canvas. A petite and spritely orangeblood with bounce in her step hops onto the open counter as you pass and crosses her legs, gesturing to her sign.
“Hey there! It’s the perfect time of the sweep for a mushroom hunt, don’t ya think? Normally I sell gear to trolls going out to find all kinds of goodies in the woods, but this year I’m having a bit of a contest for the Jubilee! Not only will I pay top-beetle for your find, trolls with the best mushrooms will get their photo up on this cute little board here!” She taps a huge, vintage camera hanging around her neck and a picture of herself attached to a wooden plank painted with the word “WINNERS”.
“Mama’s gonna judge your mushrooms when you get back so we can figure the quality and quantity and such. Just have fun with it! I suggest either goin’ into the woods or the meadow to start, but after that you’re on your own.” The orangeblood twirled a lock of hair around her finger and gave a fond look to her lusus, an enormous and hairy tusked razorsnoutbeast. “If you’d like to buy some supplies for your trek I’d be happy to do some trading! Who knows – maybe some of these items will come in handy!”
This contest is for users who have been active in shop for 1+ years who own at least 2 trolls, one of which is currently a teen or older, and who do not already own any mutant/mutantblood trolls. The winning entry will be able to create a semi-custom mutantblood or physical mutant troll (extra body parts, wings, etc - this will also be a power). This will be subjected to the premade rehome rule. Welcome to the Mushroom Hunt CYOA! This event runs like a typical CYOA, with a few alterations. To start, all trolls regardless of age start out with 10 staminasparks. Stamina may be lost or gained based upon the results of the CYOA choices. If your troll hits 0 stamina, they become too tired to continue the mushroom hunt and will return back to the Jubilee Outskirts where they will cash in their mushroom find! Please write 200 words minimum for each CYOA choice your troll makes, and from the perspective of one of your current shop trolls.
If you miss a CYOA choice, you will automatically lose 2 stamina and will not gain any mushrooms that turn. After this, you are free to resume the current CYOA choice (your troll is considered to have moved too slowly and all the mushrooms in the area were cleaned out before their arrival).
Items are another addition to the Mushroom Hunt! In addition to picking a path to search each CYOA choice, you may use ONE of your inventory items per day to try and pry up more mushrooms in your current location! Items can be re-used unlimited times. Trolls have 250 beetles each for purchasing items during their mushroom hunt, and cannot return to the supply hut to buy more of these items during the hunt. There will be an opportunity partway through the hunt to get more items, although they may not necessarily be the same ones below/same price. Please use the form below for each CYOA day.
Quote: Mushroom Supply Hut“Tonight only, everything’s 50 beetles each! That means it looks like you can purchase five items to take with you! Only take one of each, thanks!” • Mushroom Snufflin’ Gerbils • Dynamite • City Slicker’s Field Guide to Farmland • Super Protein Snack Bars • Night Vision Goggles • Daywalker Spray • “Used” Bowie Knife • Fishing Rod • Colorful Yarn Balls • Potato Sack ==>Final Results + Winners

Mushroom Count: your total cumulative amount of mushrooms found
Quote: •Nov 18 - Dec 1 One of the many exciting activities available at the Two Moons Harvest Jubilee is the rodeo – and not just any rodeo! Every sweep, the locals of the New Hemisect plains gather around to strap wigglers to farmbeasts and let them run wild until those said wigglers fly off. It’s not only a hootenanny, but a long-standing tradition for the rural people of the area. Whether you’re a city-slicker or grew up with the tradition, it’s practically a rite of passage and you end up in the ring. Your troll has entered the fray. Pick one of the prompts below and write a RP response of at least 250 words describing your troll’s actions, thoughts and reactions to this wild and wooly event. What brought them here to the festival – and the rodeo no less! Did they gain a new love of riding wild or discover a sudden source of deep shame?
1: Not 10 seconds into the fray do you lose your grip on your wooly steed. Time turns into slow motion as you topple into a mixture of hay, dirt and some other unidentifiable crust, and the crowd hushes. You have to be escorted out of the ring by a ringside rodeo juggalo. 2: Naturally, the producers of the event have you pinned for a winner. They sit you on the most volatile woolbeast of them all, the Gorebaiter, and before you even realize it the gate opens and you’re on a wild ride. Win or lose, you still end up with a face-full of hay and a full thrashing. But do you come up on top? 3: You’ve been training for this moment since you were only knee high to a hop-beast. Now’s your time to shine, and there’s nothing except this very dangerous creature in your way. The gate opens! Does it go the way you planned?
Only newbies (0-1 trolls) may enter this event. The winning entry will get 10 ep - enough to get a new semi-custom troll. Entries must be 250 words minimum, using the form below, from the viewpoint of the rodeo riding troll, and in third person past tense. Please don’t edit your posts after submitting!
How long can I hang on? Woah! Dice prompt:please copy paste the prompt text here
Quote: •Nov 18 - Dec 1 As homey and familiar as this sweep’s festival is, there’s a hint of peculiarity about it. The night is clear and the all-seeing eye of the government feels as though it has been left far off in the city. It is a time for reflection – thoughtful thanks and togetherness between trolls, togetherness not manufactured by the Crown for an athletic competition. It’s enough to give a troll peace of mind and enjoy the outdoors for all of its beauty as well as a fellow troll.
What part of the Harvest Jubilee is your favorite? The great outdoors, the sights and sounds, the events, or something else?
This is a creative prompt contest open to any user in shop with or without a troll! The winning user will get the premade to the right - as well as being able to choose its blood colour. Write a RP of 250 words minimum relating to the prompt in some way, in third person past tense, and attach the form below. Users are encouraged to write from the perspective of the prize troll - and to give us some kind of idea as to who they would be like should you win them. Feel free to check the other event thread to see the other games and activities being held, to get an idea of all the things going on that your troll might have seen and participated in. Please don’t edit your posts after submitting!
I'm feeling in a thoughtful mood. Let's ruminate!
Quote: •Nov 18 - Dec 1 The last event taking place in the jubilee is the infamous Harvest Parade! Trolls from the plains take the opportunity to parade down the route, tossing confections, performing dances and songs, and many other fun features for the occasion. Tradition is very important, but this sweep the plains dwellers have opened up the parade to outside entrants! You’ve managed to snag a spot along the likes of your fellow trolls, fortunately in front of the hoofbeasts rather than behind them. You hear that even NummCorp has a float in the parade, so yours better be good!
This is a creative prompt contest open to any user in shop with or without a troll! The winning user will get the premade to the right - as well as being able to choose its blood colour. Write a third person past-tense RP of at least 250 words describing the design of your float or parade show, and attach the form below. You may also illustrate your design or create a model and present it, which should be accompanied by at least 100 words explaining your entry or a RP description. Be creative! Please don’t edit your posts after submitting.

Quote: Choice for November 18-19:If your starting location choice is the Wooded Glen: You travel north. The atmosphere begins to darken as you get closer to the canopy, and soon breach the treeline. There are a few paths that scatter out from your origin before you – trails created by other adventurers, mushroom hunters and animals. The area is relatively uneven and could lead to some difficult terrain deeper in the woods, which may produce more mushrooms. On the other hand, not losing ground or face by taking a well-traveled path or tracking the forest outskirts could allow for more efficient mushroom hunting. Suddenly an antlerbeast lifts its head from the underbrush. It spots you and gives you a quick staredown before moving on through the bushes.
A) Follow the antlerbeast B) Go on a beaten path C) Stay in the outer edges of the woods
If your starting location choice is the Meadow: You travel south. The atmosphere brightens significantly as the treeline recedes, while the undergrowth heightens beneath you. The plains of New Hemisect are vast and diverse with many natural marshy fields, and you take care to avoid wetter terrain towards the meadow. You reach an open patch of meadow. The wooded glen is in the far distance, but there are very few trails in sight. A single wandering path seems to snake through the grasses, created by some kind of Alternian fauna. As you continue on, the meadow becomes much deeper – or perhaps the grasses become taller! The shorter grasses are topped by colorful pastel flowers that start weaving together in more frequent groups and patterns.
A) Take the wandering path B) Trek into the deepest grass C) Follow the colorful flowers
The next choice will be posted on November 20th.

Quote: A-trekking through the woods I go! Troll: Aconan Eyulft Inventory: Super Protein Snack Bars Night Vision Goggles Daywalker Spray Mushroom Snufflin' Gerbils Colourful Yarn Balls Location: Wooden Glen Choice Picked: A - Follow the Antlerbeast Item Used: Mushroom Count: 0! Aconan clutched her bag of beetles excitedly as she strode up to the stand, rattling off her choice of items. A hunt! True, it was a meagre hunt for mushrooms, of all things, rather than a hunt for the more exciting live prey, but it was still a hunting game, a thrilling adventure to prove her worth as a future hunterrorist, a servant of the empire and the most skillful of them! As she handed over the beetles, and received a plethora of interesting items in return, she flashed an excited grin at the stall attendant before heading out. The young greenblood hung half off the back of her lusus as they loped towards the forest the stand attendant had listed as one of the potential starting locations - they were more familiar with forest terrain, which meant they stood a better chance there than exploring unfamiliar grass planes - uh, meadows, even. When they began to approach the treeline, Aconan slipped off her Lusus's back, so to be closer to the ground. That was after all, where mushrooms grew. Keeping her eyes focused on the ground, particularly looking out for any damp or dark places, Aconan almost didn't notice the antlerbeast, but when she did she stopped, watching it and deciding to take that path - animals after all, always knew where food was.

Quote: A-trekking through the woods I go! Troll:Miache Gahiji Inventory: Daywalker Spray (never again Kei.....NEVER AGAIN), mushroom snufflin' gerbils, city slicker's field guide to farmland, 'used' bowie knife, night vision goggles Location: Wooden glen Choice Picked: C. Outer edges of the woods Item Used: City Slicker's Field Guide to Farmland Mushroom Count: 0 The trip was.....very aesthetically pleasing. Between the trees and the animals it was a nice little....adventure. Of course, forests were dirty.....but he could tolerate it, it wasn't as though he was rolling around in the dirt and mud or anything. He HAD been a little envious of other trolls who had chosen the meadow....it was probably cleaner, probably even more aesthetically pleasing. BUT! He was no fool, mushrooms would grow far more often in the woods than in some pretty little glade. He did still feel a pang of envy, but he wanted to win. He was far too stubborn not to at least try.
Miache reached into his pocket, fishing out the book he'd picked up before setting out, looking it over. He wasn't the best with fauna, so he certainly hoped he would be able to suss mushrooms out better with the help of the book. He leafed through a few pages as he walked, careful to step over roots and around divots in the dirt. Perhaps he should've loosed the gerbil, however, and let it hunt....but he was still a little worried his lusus might assume it was food. He WAS looking a littlle peckish. Miache scrunched his nose at his lusus and pulled his bag of items a little further. He could hear the gerbil shuffling around a little in distress....but it would be fine. Certainly more fine in the safety of his bag than the stomach of his lusus.
