Name: Kelly Oliver Malone
Nickname: N/A
Age: 23
Birthday: November 3rd, 1992
Sign: Scorpio
Gemstone: Topaz
Blood Type: O-
Fav. Food: Coffee. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Hated Food: Olives
School: Grad Student at DCU; English Major
Hobbies: Writing - Writing isn't just Kelly's passion, it's his way of life. He doesn't go anywhere without his journal in hand, much to the chagrin of his friends and family, and will stop to write down anything that inspires him regardless of the situation. Although he's fond of short stories and has been published in several magazines for his creative work, his journal itself is filled with all manner of things from poetry to drabbles and even the occasional doodle.
Calligraphy - Something about the feel of ink gliding onto paper is very calming for Kelly and once his grandmother bought him his first calligraphy pen as a preteen, he has dabbled in it ever sense. His house is littered with dozens of pages of flowing scripts and calligraphy art at any given time and more often than not, his fingers are stained with the ink of his hard work.
Book Collecting - There's nothing quite like the smell of a book and the older it is, the more Kelly cherishes it. He's been known to spend a pretty fortune on first editions and rare finds without batting an eyelash. He would like to claim that the has a library but in reality, that isn't the entire truth - his whole house is filled with as many bookshelves as he can stuff into it and for some of the less rare editions of his collection, they're stacked in piles on every surface.
Virtues: Calm - It's very hard to ruffle Kelly's feathers, although its equally as hard to make him excited. His emotions always seem to remain at a happy middle ground, like slow and easy river. He's never too stressed or too angry, though he is capable of feeling both of those emotions. Part of it is a tendency to turn his feelings inward while part of it simply his easy nature and his ability to let things roll off his shoulders, no matter what those things are.
Perceptive - Partly due to his relaxed nature, Kelly adopts an observe and then react attitude. He likes to make sure that he understands all parts of an equation or situation and spent many years training himself to note anything of import. He doesn't just take anyone's word for it and always comes to his own conclusions without letting anyone's bias influence it first. With such a tendency to pay attention to the details that are often overlooked, he finds that he always has valuable insight to share.
Ingenious - With such a perceptive nature, it's no wonder that Kelly has an ingenious quality. He spends a lot of time thinking about his observations, especially when they might shed light on complicated problems or lend a new perspective to his work. Teachers and professors have often noted his fresh point of view and an undeniably creative quality in his writing and, for the few people willing to put up with his introverted nature, friends often find that he has a great talent for giving advice.
Self Sufficient - Unlike many young twenty-somethings, Kelly isn't prone to suffering from loneliness or a lack of socialization. He enjoys being alone and even thrives in this environment because it is when he feels the most productive. Although self sufficient might not stretch across the idea that he feeds himself properly and at decent intervals, it is certainly not for a lack of food or resources - simply a scattered brain.
Flaws: Detached - There a lot of things that contribute to Kelly's general air of detachment, among them his tendency to try and perceive things from an unbiased perspective and the way his mind is always working and considering other things. His mind is a creative one and even when he's forced to be in social situations or required to do things for work or school, his muse often gets the best of him. He's likely to unintentionally ignore direct conversation or even walk out of the room in the middle of a discussion. People often tell him he has his head in the clouds, but he would like to note that the clouds don't have enough substance to hold his attention that way.
Cluttered - From his house to his mind, cluttered is the perfect word for Kelly. His mind is always a jumble of several ideas waiting to be jotted down and his home is filled to the brim with books, papers, notes and any manner of things that he finds useful. Although he swears up and down that he knows how to navigate what amounts to a scholar's hoarder nest, most other people find it difficult to spend any amount of time with him at his home - mostly because there's seldom a place to sit down.
Judging - Although Kelly isn't a cruel person by nature, he has a tendency to judge others without realizing it. To him, it is simply assessing their nature, though he has offended many a person by implying they have a quality they don't necessarily deem favorable. It is important to note that his judgement does not always express his feelings towards the subject or person, but rather the way he perceives them to be. He might call someone pushy, but he could still admire their leadership skills.
Introverted - The hardest thing for most people to deal with is Kelly's desire to simply be alone. He likes silence and he likes to think, neither of which are very successful in group situations. He would rather be at home with his work than out at a party and whenever he's simply had enough of social interactions, he'll say his goodbyes and leave, even if its at a point most people wouldn't deem socially acceptable. In hand with his desire to be alone with his thoughts is the fact that he doesn't share them, or his feelings, very often.

Knight Title: Knossos, Page of Chronos Wonder: A labyrinth between Scorpio and Libra on the surrounding, closest wonder to Scorpio on that side (with DFA's permission); Based upon the Labyrinth at Knossos. Challenge: Get Lost Weapon & Magic:Page An unassuming picture frame made of wood and ornamental metal. SquireThe picture frame becomes a bit more intricate, still made of wood and ornamental metal, with a small handle for gripping along the top inside portion. The center is no longer open, but made of a smoky, resistant glass. Magic: When Knossos' magic is summoned, the center of his weapon becomes a looking glass capable of showing the wielder sight through any wall, hedge or obstruction of view for 40 seconds. * The image displayed in the frame is not one hundred percent true to reality in that the closer an object is to him, the more transparent it seems, while objects furthest from him retain their opacity at varying levels to allow him some prediction of the terrain or obstacles he might face beyond the initial obstruction. Along that same vein of thought, any living organisms that do not possess malicious intent will appear transparent and only marginally distinguishable from their surroundings, having been lumped into what his magic considers part of the environment. (ie: While he may be able to see through the walls of a house and know there are several moving 'lumps' in the environment that are likely living organisms, he would not be able to see what they are doing or what they look like.) * Any living organisms that do have malicious intent will appear outlined in a faint red glow, while retaining more opacity than non-malicious organisms and their surroundings. These organisms could be youma, powered individuals, or even just dangerous civilians. Due to the nature of his magic operating on opacity levels, much about the appearance (facial features, skin color, hair color, etc) and clothing of these characters will be impossible to determine. (ie: If a character began with malicious intent as a civilian and powered up to fight, he would not be able to tell a difference between the initial appearance and the powered one. Likewise, if a character powered down, his magic would assume surrender and they would instantaneously be removed as a malicious threat and be impossible to track.)KnightThe picture frame becomes more intricate, made entirely of the metal substance, and now resembles a full-blown shield. The handle on the inside can now be latched onto Knossos' fore-arm. The center is now composed of a smoky, thick and somewhat transparent crystal that is more resistant to destruction than the glass of its previous form. Magic: When Knossos' magic is summoned, the center of his weapon becomes a looking glass capable of showing the wielder sight through any wall, hedge or obstruction of view for 60 seconds. * The image displayed in the frame is not one hundred percent true to reality in that the closer an object is to him, the more transparent it seems, while objects furthest from him retain their opacity at varying levels to allow him some prediction of the terrain or obstacles he might face beyond the initial obstruction. Hey Fel! Kelly looks excellent; however, there are a few things on the powered side that I need to crit -- First, would you mind providing a Wikipedia or other reference for his Wonder? Second, while his magic is clever, the channeling times are too long, and I'm not sure how they relate to Chronos's themes of "growth, change, protection"! A more reasonable channeling time would be between 30 and 40 seconds at Squire, and 45 to 60 at Knight, depending on what his magic is. I'm happy to help bounce ideas! Quote me back with changes or if you want to discuss something~

Noir Songbird Quote me back with changes or if you want to discuss something~ I've included the link to his wonder. For his magic, I was using both protection and change in the sense that the reality within his picture frame/shield is changed and the magic, in and of itself, is based in protection from ambush, spies and the like. It is not meant to be magic used in battle, which is why I thought that perhaps it would be allowed to have extended channeling times, because he'd be using it to study his surroundings for preventative measures as opposed to directly channeling an effect onto himself or another player (though I did change this to your preferred pool times). I was also using the magic as a tie in to his wonder, allowing him to see enemies that were attempting to make their way through the labyrinth itself. If you don't think that this is plausible in relation to those themes, then that's fine, and I'll come back to you when I've thought of something else.

Unfortunately, while I can see what you're getting at, I feel the connection to the Chronos themes is too distant -- and often, non-battle utility effects like that are good abilities for personal items, as well! I'm happy to bounce ideas for Chronos, if you'd like, I'm just not sure how to make your initial idea work, I'm sorry!
