Hello and welcome to my plotbunny!

Born out of a stream conversation with Koi and Cheza, I'm here to build a DnD Group....NOODLE STYLE!
PostPosted: Wed Nov 04, 2015 1:45 pm

Right, well, the basics of the thing is; AJ is a nerd.

So, out of boredom he reaches out, putting up 'want' ads for some people to come and join his brave party to venture forth and save the world!

However...being a kid still, this doesn't mean an actual adventure, he more means....roleplaying.

Thus far, Laverna and Tae have both answered his call, the beginnings of his party. But three is not enough, he wants a bigger group!

Kits and adults free to join!

I'd like this to be a pseudo-DnD group, somewhat involved. AND it gives us the opportunity to delve into our characters' minds, and make characters that THEY would make. and, if it goes the way I want, eventually THEIR characters could become real within the shop (Storyline related maybe~)

[Koiasi doing her thing here~]

Alright guys.... So I'm going to try to go into a quick rundown of the classes/races. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me (Koiasi)! I'm going to try to not go into too much detail, so if you have an idea on what you want your Noodle to run and you're not sure how it would fit, just ask. =33 Just note, this is loosely based on 5th ed, there are a lot more races in other additions, so if you'd prefer one of them, let me know and I can get you basic info on them. =3

Let's see...

Please Note: When I put that races "get these Ability Scores" it means they get a BONUS to those ability scores. All characters, no matter what they are, get all the Ability Scores to varying degrees, usually based on what you roll, but that doesn't matter for this. xD

Also, should you need a god to worship (it's very likely for most if not all party members to worship some sort of diety as the dieties are very active in a DnD world). than just ask and I'm sure I (Koiasi) can give you one based on your character/what you want. =33

Races~

Changeling

Changelings can be hard to pin point as most of their lore is rather mysterious. They are believed to be descendants of a nasty race known as Doppelgangers, though the most they have in common with their ancestors is that they have retained the ability to transform into anyone. They rarely show anyone their true face, preferring to hide among other races and pretend to be one of their own. Changelings have no home of their own for this reason.

They get Dexterity and Charisma. This makes them good Rogues, Warlocks and Sorcerers.

Dragonborn
Dragonborn look a lot like Half Dragons (though honestly, a little weaker than half dragons..). They're not considered Draconic, however, since they don't technically have dragon blood in them. Their race is more or less races of mortals that were turned or blessed by dragons to take on the appearance and special abilities. Because of this they have resistance based on their particular type of dragon, as well as a dragon breath. (Please note, Chromatic Dragons are usually considered Evil, while Metallic Dragons are considered Good, there can be exceptions, however.)

Dragonborn are a tall race, standing around 6 and a half feet tall.

Chromatic:
Red - Fire
Blue - Lightning
Black - Acid
Green - Poison
White - Cold

Metallic:
Bronze - Lightning
Copper - Acid
Brass - Fire
Silver - Cold
Gold - Fire

Dragonborn get Charisma and Strength, this makes them excellent Paladins,
(Good Dragon Diety being Bahumut, Evil being Tiamat.) and decent Sorcerers or Warlocks.

Dwarves

If you've seen LoTR or The Hobbit, than you pretty much know all you need to know about Dwarves. They're usually depicted as having Scottish accents and being hard workers who love their gold and shiny things. They usually live underground and have clans which they hold in high regard. They naturally get proficiency with axes and hammers.

They get Constitution and either Wisdom or Strength, depending on rather they're a Hill Dwarf or a Mountain Dwarf. This usually makes them good Paladins, Fighters or Barbarians.

Elves
Perhaps contrary to popular believe, there are many many different types of elves. Elves are typically faster than all the other races, and they all have an affinity to Long Bows and Long Swords.

Wood Elves
Wood elves are your typical elves. Think Legolas. They usually stick to the trees and will fire an arrow into their opponent. Though since Elves do get a natural ability with Long Swords, it's not uncommon to see them using blades as well.

Wood Elves get Dex and Wisdom, which makes them good Rangers, Rogues and Druids.

Moon Elves

Apart of the High Elves, unlike Wood Elves, High Elves (Both Moon and Sun) prefer magic to bows. Moon elves are perhaps more haunty and think themselves better than most (not always) and therefore are more relusive than their counterparts. Moon Elves are pale, with alabaster skin that is sometimes twinged with blue and have hair of silver white, black or blue, but various shades of blonde, brown or red are not uncommon.

They get Dex and Intelligence, Making them good Wizards.

Sun Elves
Apart of the High Elves, unlike Wood Elves, High Elves (Both Moon and Sun) prefer magic to bows. Sun Elves are much friendlier than Moon Elves. They have bronze skin with copper, black or golden blonde hair. Their eyes are golden, silver or black.

They get Dex and Intelligence, Making them good Wizards.

Drow (Dark Elves)

Descended from an earlier subrace of dark-skinned elves, the drow were banished from the surface world for following the goddess Lolth down the path to evil and corruption. Now they have built their own civilization in the Underdark. BE AWARE, Drow have a HUGE stigmata on them and most races hate and distrust them because usually all drow are pure evil. Drow are also a matriarchal race, so much so that all men are looked down on and are usually treated much like slaves. (This also provides a huge reason why some male drow leave and find themselves adventurers.)

The Drow have black skin that resembles polished obsidian and stark white or pale yellow hair. They commonly have very pale eyes (so pale as to be mistaken for white) in shades of lilac, silver, pink, red and blue. They tend to be smaller and thinner than most elves.

Females of power are usually Clerics and Males are usually Wizards (Be aware, even with "power" men are usually lower than women).

They have Dex and Charisma, making them good Rogues and Clerics (Be aware.. A Cleric of Lolth would likely be killed on sight.. And any Cleric of another deity would be killed by Drow on sight for treason).

Eladrin

Eladrin... are more or less the original High Elves. They are neither Sun nor Moon Elves. They are completely in touch with their home in the Feywild. When the Elves split into different races, Eladrin retained more of their original roots than all the others. Magic is apart of everything they do.

Eladrin more closely resemble the fey than other elves, while also living longer than other Elf races. The easiest way to tell Eladrin apart from other elves is their glowing eyes. They're also more graceful and have more of a noble air to them than most Elves.

Unlike other elves, Eladrin have a teleport ability.

They have Dex and Intelligence, their personalities lend well to Wizards, Fighters and Paladins.

Genasi
Genasi are, for all intended purposes, Half Elementals. They inherit something from both sides of their dual nature. They resemble humans but have unusual skin color (usually depending on what kind of Genasi they are), and there is something odd about them. The elemental blood flowing through their veins manifests differently in each genasi, often as magical power.

Seen in silhouette, a genasi can usually pass for human. Those of earth or water descent tend to be heavier, while those of air or fire tend to be lighter. They might have some features reminiscent of their their mortal parent (pointed ears from an elf, a stockier frame and thick hair from a dwarf, small hands or feet from a halfling, exceedingly large eyes from a gnome, etc.)

Genasi almost never have contact with their elemental parent. Genies seldom have interest in their offspring, seeing them as accidents. Many feel nothing for their Genasi children at all.

Genasi are extremely rare and they can go their entire lives without encountering another of their kind. There are no great genasi cities or empires and they typically adopt the cultures and societies they were born into. The stranger their appearance, the harder time they have, and this can even lead to being exiled because of their appearance.

All Genasi get Constitution.

Air Genasi
You are descended from Djinn. As changeable as the weather, your mood shifts from calm to wild and violent with little warning, though these storms don't last long.

Air Genasi get Dex. They can hold their breath indefinitely if not unconscious. They can cast the Levitate spell once per day.

Picture-

Earth Genasi
You are descended from the cruel and greety Dao, though you aren't necessarily evil. You tend to avoid rash decisions, pausing long enough to consider your options before taking action.

Earth Genasi get Strength. They can move across difficult terrain made of earth with no penalty. They can blend into other stone once per day.

Picture-

Fire Genasi

You have inherited the volatile mood and keen mind of the Efreet. You tend toward impatience and making snap judgements. Rather than hide your distinct appearance, you likely exult in it.

Fire Genasi get Intelligence.

You are resistant to fire damage. You know minor Fire spells (if you really want to know what they are I can tell you, but keeping it simple for now).

Picture-

Water Genasi
The lapping of waves, the spray of the sea foam on the wind, the oceans depths- all of these things call to your heart. Most Water Genasi look as if they just finished bathing with beads of moisture collecting on their skin and hair. They smell of fresh rain and clean water. Blue or green skin is common and most have somewhat overlarge eyes.

Water Genasi get Wisdom.

They have resistance to Acid damage and can breath air and water. They know minor water spells.

Gnome

Like Halflings, Gnomes are a short stature race. As far as Gnomes are concerned, being alive is a wonderful thing, and they squeeze every ounce of enjoyment out of their three to five centuries of life. While other races might get bored with a long life, Gnomes worry that even with all that time, they can't get in enough of the things they want to do and see.

There are two types of Gnomes, the Forest Gnome and Rock Gnome. Forest Gnomes are more Fey-like creatures of story tales. They prefer illusion and stealth and they're rather rare and secretive. They are friendly with other good spirirted woodland folks and consider elves and good fey as important allies.

Rock gnomes are inventers (If you've played WoW.. think those kinds of gnomes) and love to tinker around with gadgets and gizmos.

All Gnomes get Intelligence. Forest Gnomes get Dex, while Rock Gnomes get Constitution. Both types make excellent Wizards.

Goliaths
At the highest mountain peaks, far above the slopes where trees grow and where the air is think and frigid, dwell the reclusive Goliaths. Few folk can claim to have seen a Goliath, and fewer still can claim friendship with them. Goliath wander a bleak realm of rock, wind and cold. Their bodies look as if they are carved from mountain stone and give them great physical power. Their spirits take after the wandering wind, making them nomads who wander from peak to peak. Their hearts are infused with the cold regard of their frigid realms, leaving each goliath with the responsibility to earn a place in the tribe, or die trying.

They live in a world guided by survival sicne food and shelter are scarce on the uppermost mountain reaches. A single mistake can bring doom to an entire tribe, while an individual heroic effort can bring greatness. Goliaths thus place a premium on self-sufficiency and individual skill. They are ferocious competitors, but above all else are driven to outdo their past efforts. If they slay a dragon, they might seek out a larger, more powerful wyrm to battle. Few goliath adverturers reach old age, as most die attempting to surpass their past accomplishments.

(Also note, Goliaths are between 7 and 8 feet tall, easily making them one of the largest of all the races, only rivaled by Minotaur and possibly Dragonborn.)

They get a bonus to Strength and Constitution. Making them good Barbarians and Fighters.

Half Elves
These are.. as you guessed... Half Elf and Half Human! Who would have thought, right? To all Elves, they look Human, to any other race.. they look Elf. This can lead to having a life rather looked down upon and not fitting in anywhere. However, most Half Elves have learned to get around this, learning to be good diplomats.

Half Elves get Charisma and their choice of two others. This makes Half Elves make excellent Bards, they're also pretty good Sorcerers and aren't half bad at pretty much anything else they set their minds to.

Picture-
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Halflings
Halflings (though a lot of people would kill me for this opinion) are a lot like Hobbits. They're much smaller than humans, but retain the look of humans. The comforts of home are the goals of most halflings' lives: a place to settle in peace and quiet, far from marauding monsters and clashing armies; a blazing fire and generous meal; fine drink and fine conversation. Though some halflings are lured by the open road and the wide horizon to discover the wonders of new lands and peoples. Even these wanderers love peace, food, hearth and home, though home might be a wagon jostling along a dirt road or a raft floating downriver.

Halflings are an affable and cheerful people. They cherish the bonds of family and friendship as well as the comforts of hearth and home, harboring few dreams of gold or glory. Even adventurers among them usually venture into the world for reasons of community, friendship, wanderlust or curiosity. They love discovering new things, even simple things, such as exotic food or an unfamiliar style of clothing.

Halflings get Dex. They get either Charisma or Constitution, depending on rather they're Lightfoot (more like Hobbits) or Stout (more like Dwarves), respectively. Lightfoot make good Rogues, Warlocks and Sorcerers. Stout have odd stat allocation, so it might be a little harder to find a perfect fit for them, they can make decent Fighters or Barbs though.

Picture-
User Image

Half Orcs
Half Orcs are.. Half Orc and Half Humans. They've retained a lot of their gruff nature from the Orc half, but also are pretty hardy because of it. A determined and usually primal race, most of them are raised in their Orc Tribes, when not there they make their homes in human settlements. They enjoy combat and rage, though they're not necessarily evil. They laugh loudly and heartily, and simple bodily pleasures- feasting, drinking, wrestling, drumming and wild dancing- fill their hearts with joy. They can be short tempered and sullen, more inclined to action than contemplation.

They get Strength and Constitution, making them good Barbarians and Fighters.

Hengeyokai
4th Ed Race... But I had to include them. xDD

Basically, think Anthros. They look more or less like Elves, but they can change between humanoid form, Anthro Form or Animal Form (One animal only), for example, Raccoon, Wolf, Fox, Cat, Crab and Crane were some of the ones you could choose from in 4th Ed. They were generally of an Asian decent, though this isn't always true.

Hengeyokai get Dex and either Wis or Charisma. This makes them good Monks, Rogues, Rangers and Warlocks.

Picture-
User Image

Humans
So why would you play a Human in DnD? For a good reason, unlike most other races, Humans are good at ANYTHING. They have an uncanny ability to pick up most any class and be good at it.

Unlike any other race, they get a plus to every ability score, Charisma, Con, Dex, Strength, Wis and Int.

Picture-
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Minotaurs
Minotaur society is built on the principle that might makes right, and that considerations of justice are unnecessary. They hold grand, annual displays of single combat, known as Circuses, to battle each other for supremacy. Minotaur youths must prove themselves in the Circus to earn their passage to adulthood. For all their cruelty, minotaurs are bound by a powerful sense of honor. Each victory brings greater honor to both the individual and their families. Defeat invokes a stain that only death can fully wash away. Honor demands that minotaurs keep their word once it is offered, and they remain faithful to their friends and clan above all else. Minotaurs believe in a strict code of honor and thus tend toward Lawful.

Minotaurs can always perfectly recall any path they have traveled.

They get Strength and their choice of another point of Strength, Intelligence or Wisdom. They make good Paladins and Clerics, and even better Barbarians because of several racial traits that I won't go into mechanically. xD

Picture-
User Image

Shadar-Kai
4th Ed race... But I had to include them. xD

Shadar-Kai are a race of Humans/Elves who live in the Shadowfell. The Shadowfell is a terrible place full of monsters that mirrors the material plane. If the monsters are not enough to kill you, your very existence in the Shadowfell nearly drains your soul of any life. The landscape is a monotone of white and greys, seemingly no life able to live there. Despite this, the Shadar-kai are one of the few non-monstrous races that make a home there. However, because of this Shadar-kai are extremists in everything they do and their whole society is based on merit and deeds. They go so far as to pierce and tattoo themselves to the extreme to boast about deeds they have accomplished. They live life on the extreme edge, living for thrill to give their soul something to cling to in such a draining landscape. They could very well live as long, or even longer than Eladrin, if it weren't for the fact that their extreme lifestyle usually ends in violent deaths.

Like Eladrin, Shadar-kai have the ability to teleport. Their ability scores are Dex and a choice of Int or Wis. This makes them good Wizards, Rogues, Monks and Rangers.

Picture-
User Image

Shifters
Shifters are descended from humans and lycanthropes. Although they cannot fully change into animal form, they can take on anmalistic features by a process they call "shifting".

All Shifters get a bonus to Dex.

Beasthide
As a beasthide shifter, you are especially tough and persistent in battle. (These are usually considered Bears, but can be any hearty/tough skinned animal.)

You get Constitution. While shifting you get a +1 to Armor Class, aka AC, (defense).

Cliffwalk
Your cliffwalk heritage grants you the agility of a mountain goat.

You get more Dex. While shifting you can gain a climb speed.

Longstride
Longstide shifters are fleet and elusive. (And be any sort of fast animal.)

You get more Dex. While shifting you can move faster.

Longtooth
As a longtooth shifter, you are a ferocious combatant. (These are generally thought of as wolves, but can be any sort of animal good at combat.)

You get Strength. While shifting you do more damage (to put it plainly).

Razorclaw
As a razorclaw shifter, you make swift, slashing strikes in battle. (These are generally wild cat animals, such as tigers, panthers, etc.)

You get more Dex. You do more damage while shifting.

Wildhunt
Your wildhunt heritage makes you a consummate tracker and survivor. (Any sort of animal, really.)

You get Wisdom. While shifting you gain advantage on Wisdom based rolls.

Picture-
User Image

Tieflings
Tieflings are derived from human bloodlines, and in the broadest possible sense, they still look human. However, their infernal heritage has left a clear imprint on their appearance. Tieflings have large horns that take on a variety of shapes, some have curling horns like a ram, others straight and tall like a gazelle, or spiral like an antelope, etc. They have thick tails, four to give feet long, which lash or coil around their legs when they get upset or nervous. Their canine teeth are sharply pointed and their eyes are solid colors with no visible sclera or pupil. Their skin tones cover the full range of humans coloration, but many of them are various shades of red. Their hair, cascadinig down from behind their horns, is usually dark, from black to brown to dark reds, blues or purples.

Tieflings lack a homeland and usually are found in human cities or towns, often in the roughest quarters of those places, where they grow up to be swindlers, thieves or crime lords. Sometimes they live among other minority populations in enclaves where they are treated with more respect.

People tend to be suspicious of tieflings, assuming that their demonic/devil heritage has left it's mark on their personality and morality, not just their appearance. The reality, though, is that a tiefling's bloodline doesn't affect they're personality to any great degree. Years or dealing with mistrust does leave its mark, however, and they respond to it in different ways. Some choose to live up to the wicked stereotypes, but others are virtuous.

Tieflings get Intelligence and Charisma. This makes them excellent Bards, and decent Warlocks and Rogues.

Picture-
User Image

Warforged
Warforged were made as the ideal soldiers to serve in a devastating war. Although they are constructs, they have much in common with living creatures, including emotion and social bonds, and perhaps even souls.

Generally, Warforged are machines that have been given sentience through magical means. They generally look like walking suits of armor. Their names are usually words that coincide with their jobs during whatever war they served in.. Such as Sight, if a scout, Brawl or Riot, if fighters, perhaps even Ember if they're a Fire Wizard, etc.

Warforged get Strength and Constitution. This makes them excellent Fighters and Barbarians. They also get a bonus to AC (Armor Class) and they don't need to breath, eat, drink or sleep (they can if they'd like to, however), though they must enter an "inactive state" for four hours a day.

Ability Scores~

When picking your class there are some things to be aware of. Mostly that being what's called Ability Scores. Here is a saying that's been floating around the internet..

Quote:
Strength is being able to crush a tomato.
Dexterity is being able to dodge a tomato.
Constitution is being able to eat a bad tomato.
Intelligence is knowing a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is knowing not to put a tomato in a fruit salad.
Charisma is being able to sell a tomato based fruit salad.

In essence; Strength is how strong you are, Dexterity is how nimble you are, Constitution is how well or healthy your body is, Intelligence is how book smart you are, Wisdom is how street smart you are, and Charisma is how attractive you are/force of personality.

Classes~

Barbarians
Barbarians are your usual rage characters. They forgo armor and like to rush in and engage battle. Stereotypically dumb in some shape or form (though this isn't always true). Most Barbs are from tribal communities or are primal in some shape or form. They get large amounts of HP and what's called a "rage" to hurt more while taking less damage, at a price of course.

They use no armor, shields (though if you want to use a two handed weapon they usually forgo the shield) and usually the biggest weapon they can find. Ability Scores use Constitution and Strength.

Bard
Bards are your charismatic leaders (Leaders are classified as those who help "guide" the rest of the party through healing and finding weaknesses in enemies). They typically aren't much of a warrior themselves (though not always true). They like to inspire others through speeches, songs and stories, so much so that out of combat a Bard can heal their allies through song. (Basically think, any sort of entertainment we have today, actors, singers, songwriters, etc. They can also use their words to hurt and confuse their enemies making them good Controllers as well.

Bards use Light Armor (Cloth, Leather), Simple Weapons as well as, Hand Crossbows, Longswords, Rapiers, Shortswords and Musical Instruments to channel their spells through. Their Ability Scores are Charisma and Dex.

Clerics
Divine Casters. Like Bards, Clerics are usually defined as "Leaders". They use their spells to heal and bolster their allies while finding weak points in their enemies. To do this, they must have a god that they worship as their power comes from their diety, basically meaning that they owe their power and service to whom they serve. (Dieties are a HUGE part of DnD.) Unlike Bards, Clerics do have a bit more range on offensive magics and are the bane of the Undead with their radiant spells.

Clerics can use Medium Armor (Hide, Chain Shirts, Scale Mail), Shields and use simple weapons only (Mace, Light Hammers, Clubs, Daggers, Quarterstaves), and need a Holy Symbol to cast spells through.

Clerics use Wisdom and Strength (though Charisma can also be useful).

Druids
Druids are your Primal Casters. They are one with nature and animals, tending to live far into the woods among a Grove of other druids, or perhaps as hermits. They are the masters of elemental forces as well as having an ability to change themselves into the beasts they share their homes with. Circle of the Moon are druids more apt to taking the shapes of natural animals (Called "Wild Shape), while the Circle of the Land are more apt to doing magic (though either Circle can do both, just one is better at the other and vice versa).

Druids use Constitution and Wisdom, up to Medium Armor (No Metal or they will lose their power) and Shields (Again, no metal). Their weapons include Clubs, Daggers (Metal is fine for weapons since they don't have to touch it), Darts, Javelins, Maces, Quarterstaves, Scimitars, Sickles, Slings and Spears.

Fighters
Fighters are your typical Adventurer. They're warriors who have taken up the cause to fight, rather for honorable reasons or not so honorable, whatever the case, they are good at what they do, but don't expect them to be very versatile. It's just as common to see a Fighter with a Bow or Duel-Wielding as it is to see them with a Sword and Shield, but they usually are more adapt at one over the others.

Fighers can use ALL forms of Weapons, ALL forms of Armor (so they usually use Plate), and Shields. Their ability scores are Strength and Constitution.

Monk
You've seen Kung-Fu movies, right? Well yeah, these are those kinds of Monks. They use their fists to combat their foes, having abnormal speed and prowess in battle. They use their ki to disarm foes and deflect incoming attacks and it's almost as if they have supernatural ability (because well.. magic). Outside of battle they're meditative, often centering themselves in the universe.

They use No Armor, and to make full use of their abilities they usually use no weapons either, though they can use Simple Weapons and Shortswords if needed. Their ability scores are Dex, Wis and Strength, making them one of the few classes that actually need more than two high ability scores.

Paladins
Like Clerics, Paladins are a Divine Class. They are warriors of the Divine basked in Holy Light. Paladins can often be unmovable in their convictions, but they're a friend you're likely to treasure. Paladins are a force that you shouldn't take lightly and often are always there to protect and bolster their allies. Paladins are known as Devoted and Oathbound precisely because they take oaths to gain the power from their gods, and they take these oaths very seriously because to break them means losing everything they are. Quintessentially, they're Lawful, an alignment that isn't likely to change rather good or evil or in between.

On the battlefield, Paladins are known for their healing, as well as protecting everyone around them. They will put themselves in the way of the enemies, trying to making sure their allies never take a hit. They grant their allies fortitude against charms and other beguiling effects, and are wonderful at curing poisons and diseases, making them wonderful to have along in scary dark places.

Paladins use Charisma and Strength (though they can make use of Wisdom too). They can use all Armors (so usually Plate), Shields and all Weapons. They also need a Holy Symbol to cast their spells.

Rangers
Rangers are, more or less, your Primal Power Fighters. They are very good with a bow, as well as being good with Duel-Wielding. They're wonderful trackers, and they can usually find food and water more easily in the wild than any other class. They're your ultimate survival guide, and pretty good at fighting on top of it. If you ever go into the woods, you want one of these guys around. A form of Ranger are also known to have an animal companion (though most do not), by forfeiting a little bit of their combat prowess.

Rangers need Wisdom and Dex (If Duel-Wielding use Strength instead). They can use Medium Armor, Shields (Be aware, if using a Bow or Two weapons you cannot use a shield) and can use Any Weapon.

Rogues
What was that? Was there a shadow behind me? I must have been imagining things...

Rogues usually rely upon rarely being seen, or the aid of their allies in battle to get the upper hand. They're a sneaky lot and many of them are a bit klepto, stealing a few things here and there. Silent and deadly, a rogue is definitely someone you don't want to meet in a dark alley.

Rogues use Dex and Intelligence (If you're good at Investigation) or Charisma (If you prefer deception and cunning). They use Light Armor (Cloth and Leather), Simple Weapons and Hand Crossbows, Longswords, Rapiers and Short Swords.

Sorcerers
Now to the casters... If Wizards are the book learned casters, and Warlocks are the casters who have pacts... Sorcerers are your spontaneous casters. It's usually unexplainable and they're naturally gifted in the art or had some event infuse them with magic, a rare commodity in the world. Because of this, Sorcerers don't perhaps have the range of spells that Wizards do, but some fun and crazy things can happen when they tap into their potential, making them extremely unpredictable. (For Mechanics sake, Sorcerers do work differently than the other two caster classes, but I'm not going to get into all that. xD)

Sorcerers use Charisma and Constitution. They wear No Armor. They use Daggers, Darts, Slings, Quarterstaves and Light Crossbows.

Warlocks
Warlocks are perhaps the most strange/interesting of the caster classes and work completely different than the others. Unlike Sorcerers and Wizards, Warlocks have to make pacts with beings much more powerful than they are to gain their magical power (a little like Divine Casters in that regard). This usually means that their Patron may have tasks for them beyond what the normal party has, though these usually don't get in the way too often or might even be the reason they're traveling with the party in the first place. These pacts usually fall into three categories, Fey, Otherworldly and Fiend. The two latter ones can cause some tension in a party, however.

Warlocks are also the Pact of the Chain or Pact of the Blade, as well. Pact magic changes who and what they are. Chain uses familiars to your advantage, gaining stronger familiars that can accompany you into battle making you more of a caster, while Blade makes you more of a warrior with more melee capability. Blade also gains the advantage of being able to summon and unsummon your (one) weapon at will (Called a Pact Blade) and gain proficiency with it, no matter what type of weapon it is.

Warlocks use Charisma first and foremost. For Chain, you use Constitution for concentrating on spells. For Blade, you use Dex or Wis, based on what weapon you use. Light Armor and Simple weapons (unless Blade).

Wizards
Wizards are your bread and butter for spell casting. They can do anything involving spells. You could freeze your foes, turn them on each other, fly over the battle field, give your ally the ability to strike faster and harder, etc. If there is an Arcane spell, a Wizard can do it (This doesn't include Divine or Primal spells). They are book learned spell casters that have taken years out of their lives to learn all the ways of the Arcane, and because of this they have a much wider range of spells they can cast compared to any other class, they can also cast more spells than any other class. This makes them amazing to have on the battle field.

Wizards use Intellect. Really, that's all you need. However, you can also use Dex or Con for added defense or health, respectively. They use No Armor and for weapons you can use Daggers, Darts, Slings, Light Crossbows, but mostly Quarterstaves since they count as spell implements.

Your Name: Meghan Sweets! Maybe you've heard of me? ;D
How did you find out about this group?: Well... Usually I run around for flyers to local gigs... love making a scene and uhm... showing up other musicians... BUT ANYWAY came across one for a DnD thing, and since Logan wasn't into it [such a cute little boring dancer, isn't he?], figured I'd go. No point in wasting the paper, right?
Will you help provide snacks?: Well yeah... I mean, maybe doritos and cheese in a can or something. And definitely something chocolate-covered!
What is your character?: I'm feeling an elven kind, probably wood or sun. Probably leaning more towards wood, and a graceful lady, of course. Probably something druid-y... is that a word, druid-y? Ehh, oh well, it works for me! <3 But uhm, anyway, she'd have to be a total babe, but a bad-a**, you know? Don't take no crap, but looks like a damsel-in-distress goddess.
Whaddo they look like?: Hmm, let's see.... tanned skin, maybe hair as pure as spun gold and eyes like silver pools.... song like a song, doesn't it? -jots it down for later use-
What...Is the Air Speed Velocity of an Unladen swallow?! Depends, how hard are you chucking it beforehand? ;P

[[ -tosses this up with the intent to tweak if needed to later- |D ]]

Your Name: Isana Kokoro Yatogami
How did you find out about this group?: Stumbled upon it while out shopping with her dad.
Will you help provide snacks?: She's sure her dad has whipped up something good in the kitchen that she can stealbring! Usually homemade ramen or other asian dishes.
What is your character?: Changeling Warlock! Pact of the Blade. Charismatic and used to convincing people to give up information. She can also be pretty sneaky when need be, however.
Whaddo they look like?: Ahhhh... anything they want to! Usually she sticks to a Half-Elf form and will only break out her transforming ability when needed. Long Brown wavy hair, Green eyes and somewhat pale skin. She always wears a cloak, however, that is so dark blue it almost looks black. Oh yeah, she doesn't wear armor.. at all, so she's always ready for a nice dinner. Mage Armor for the win. xD Not to mention that Warlocks never need to have their weapon at the ready either. However, when she does, she uses a Rapier.
What...Is the Air Speed Velocity of an Unladen swallow?! Good, until it hits something. xD

Your Name: Lan Chen (just call me Lan)
How did you find out about this group?: Someone made a thread about it on a forum I frequent, and it caught my interest!
Will you help provide snacks?: Oh, I can do better than just snacks. My family runs a Chinese restaurant and I'm basically free to use the kitchen for whatever. I make killer fried rice!
What is your character?: A Shadar-kai monk, who basically uses hand-to-hand combat as a means of making sure she exists. Rather impulsive and sometimes stubborn, but with a strong need to help others in need.
Whaddo they look like?: Somewhat elven, with silver hair, grey eyes and ashen skin. She's quite fit but not overly muscular, and favors clothing that gives her as much freedom of movement as possible.
What...Is the Air Speed Velocity of an Unladen swallow?! ...do you mean an African or a European swallow? //dead serious//

Your Name: Sorin
How did you find out about this group?:
xxI saw the flyer on a pole in town and I figured it was a good way to spend my extra days. (And Teacher says I should make friends outside.)
Will you help provide snacks?:
xxCook has said he is willing to make cookies on some days, just not all the time because he's not "being paid to cook for kids".
What is your character?:
xxI'm thinking either a sun elf or a fire gensai genasi... Or however that word is spelled. I'm obsessed with fire so I'd like to have a magic heavy character that usually works with fire. So either a sorcerer or a wizard (Does a genasi need a class?)
Whaddo they look like?:
xxThe genasi character would look almost like he had skin made of cooling lava (he would have cracks that would glow like lava) and his hair would be long and fiery. His mortal parents was an elf so he'd look lean but he's height is more human average.
xxThe sun elf would have copper hair which looks like fire ine the sun. His eyes would shine gold and he'd look handsome but wouldn't ever be cocky about it.
xx(I'm willing to play either character, I just can't decide and since gensai genasi are supposed to be rare, I'd figure I'd leave it up to the group/DM to decide if the genasi character is okay.)
What...Is the Air Speed Velocity of an Unladen swallow?!
xxSorry, but I've never had a higher math class so I wouldn't be able to say. (Though Dillan is saying I should ask if you mean an African or Europeein' one?)
