~: biggrin readful Manor::~'To suffering there is an end; to fear, there is none.'A large, steel gate stands wide open before you, opening onto a long cobbled road that leads up towards a Victorian mansion. The mansion is almost lifeless, except for the vibrant glow of chandeliers emanating from the front doors which stand wide open. A ballroom atmosphere is visible, welcoming all newcomers, and putting to bed the initial chill given from the surrounding atmosphere. Cobwebs are strung between the large columns holding up balconies on the second floor, and the yard is invisible behind a wall of thick bramble that obscures all line of sight save for that of those who enter the large gate.
More importantly, on either side of the entrance two small raven sculptures stand ominously to welcome newcomers, red rubies embedded in their eyes to give off a bloody aura. Everything screams All Hallow's Eve, but that makes entering all the more enticing. Don't mind the old crazy guy on the far side of the street, with one eye and a broom, who's shouting "It's All Hallow's Eve! Bring out yer dead! Seven tolls goes the bell, and then ye' all be dragged to...pudding! Yehehehe!" That guy's nonsense. He'd ruin everything if he could.
So step inside, and reach out for the truth...and remember, if you say his name three times, then the truth may appear...but you may never escape again.Quote: The Rules are as follows:
1) You must wear a costume for the event. 2) Have fun! 3) Don't read rule 4. 4) Tell me you read this rule, so I may whip up an appropriate punishment. 5) Anyone who reads rule 4, and doesn't follow it, is a cheaty cheat pants. Cheatyface!
6) You may enter no more than 2 non-SEES characters.

Quote: Progressing Through the Haunted House
As you enter the Haunted House, you will be guided into the darkness by a firefly that will for some time provide the only light along your path. Following the firefly, you will be able to progress only a set number of steps/spaces each turn, and you must progress only when it is your turn. Every 25 spaces, a small, out-of-place bonfire will be found that you can light to act as a checkpoint if you are ever forced to retreat by the challenges of the House.
The house is filled with terrors and wonders, each of which may allow you to move forward, force you backward, or require you to pass a challenge to progress during your next turn. And when you reach the finale of the House at Space 100, a grand surprise shall await! *coughZazicough*
...Everyone must begin their Haunted House experience in Space 1 by posting your character meeting up with the others. You may only begin progression once the House announces the beginning of the event. Until then, you may linger, interact, and wait.
Best of luck!
...Peaceful days have died...let's survive!... Quote: Progression Rules1. There are 100 spaces in the Haunted House. Each one possesses a fright, a challenge, or a booster which will move you forward or force you back. Throughout the house there are strange mannequins, dark shadows, and other mysterious creatures that lurk in the night. You may see them in passing as you go, but you will only encounter directly what you encounter on your space after any given roll. 2. You may roll 1-10 to determine the number of spaces that you may move in a given turn. Whatever you roll, progress that number...and note the number of the space relative to 100 that you are on. This matters. 3. Each space has a specific challenge that you must deal with during your next post/roll. 4. To escape the Haunted House, you must reach Space 100 by any means necessary. 5. Any SEES character who rolls 1 may turn it into a 2, due to +Motivation!

"Watchdog Man" Hatsu Harima, the Heartbreak Kid"Aa, I'll stand my ground...I'll help you.""Aa...so this is it. This is where they had you?" the calm, strong member of the SEES-2 unit bristled uncharacteristically with an anger as he looked upon the mansion where Seika had been held captive prior by that Mad Mime that he thought he had punched into oblivion back at the Mist Wall. He was happy that he hadn't actually killed the psycho, but he had hoped that he would be out of commission indefinitely. This was way too soon, in way too big of a way. And that he had threatened and come after Seika in the way that he had...held her hostage on a show that he hadn't seen himself? What if nobody had been watching? What if nobody had the money? No...he couldn't think about that. All he could do was go inside of this house of horrors to find out what the twisted mind of Zazi had come up with so that he could punch it back to the shadows. His paws clenched tightly at the thought. ...That's right, Hatsu was in a dog costume. Watchdog Man, to be precise. Watchdog Man was awesome...
"Whatever is inside...we'll stop it." It was almost time to enter...to face the long dark within.

WYNN, the Multi purpose Anti-shadow weaponThe green haired anti-shadow weapon followed along with the others, glancing up at the giant building...Her eyes whirring a bit as she examined the building as best she could. "I sense...a great ordeal ahead of us." she called quietly, lightly clutching her coat. She had decided to go on this, while Shu was busy doing things... But, she would be fine...She hoped. Rayne, backwards by sevens Paik"Ahhh, it'll be ******** cake." an arrogant voice called, stretching his arm as he looked over the girl. "Having to rough a few things up won't bug me....If it comes down to it, I'll protect you, so don't worry about it." The girl was....strangely cute to him....And he had a bit of steam to burn off. From what happened to Emil, to the strange dream he had... . Eido, Fon Fabre Aeroda"A..Are we really going to go in there?" Eido's voice called, trying to hide his shaking legs. "It looks.....menacing." The building was large...imposing...And, most of all, fancy. Whoever owned it must be LOADED.... Which is why he was all the more terrified to go in. What if they had attack hounts? Or...Security? Or...Ninjas that shot lasers out of their eyes paid for in solid gold blocks... "Guys..?" Tezuka, Illusions broken Rembrii"Ahaha...we'll be fine..I'm sure." Tezuka called out to the group, relaxing a bit. Whoever was in there took Seika...and had sent her back in a box. Someone who would so carelessly do something like that...And just treat people like packages...It was.... Really just kind of despicable... 'Though, not sure if I can really pass judgement..' he thought to himself, as he sighed. 'I hope everyone will be okay...'

Sylphie
"Come on, let's get them all!" Sylphie said, clenching a fist and posing determinedly as she stood wearing a... rather cute white costume. She was a girl, after all, and she did enjoy dressing up when she had the opportunity. More than that, her team needed her, and she wasn't going to let them down! ♥Justice Alli♥
Meanwhile, somewhat further away was someone else seemed to be having a lot of fun... a certain heroine had gotten all dressed up for the night's... entertainment... and was quite ready to get going. As for where she'd end up, nobody knew...

Cheryl Vonvitch Where the hell is that doctor
Having arrived, Cheryl looked at all the others that arrived before her. They all seemed to be dressed up in costume, but she focused at the problem at hand. "Ah, any one of y'all know what's goin on?" Cheryl said in her scottish-accented english. For all the good if anyone understood.

㊌ ~ ℌɩъαɍɩ ʊʂυɠυ ~ ㊌ TABLETSHaving no clue how she had gotten here, Usugu looked at everyone and there costumes, especially the one girl with a great zombie costume. Whereas for her, all that she had on was a lousy mummy costume. "Anyone know how to get out?" Usugu questioned as she looked puzzled.

Sensuke TakumoharaSeeing all the costumes that everyone had on, Sensuke found a whistle on his lips. So many that complimented them in all different ways and levels. As for him, Sensuke was dressed up as a "bad guy" that some would know. "So I guess that there is supposed to be someone to catch here?" He knew that the disguise wouldn't help to hide himself to people who were big fans back when he was apart of the Looking-Glass Hour, but honestly he didn't care. Dressing up was about the fun of it.

Ringo Kakuyami Remember to keep your eye on the bull's eye The ex-teacher took note of everything and everything that was around as he approached the group. From the décor to just the feel that everything gave off, he could easily tell that something was dangerous here. But then, anyone with a wit could come with the same conclusion. Draped in a black-tie suit, Ringo made sure to take precautionary measures to not trigger anything that would be detrimental to everyone else. After all, it did appear that he was the oldest one here. He had to at least show some level of responsibility that was expected from him. "Has anyone found any clues in here" Ringo said in a calm manner as he continued to search himself.

::Noelle Everett:: "Um..." It had to be some kind of Haunted Mansion, did it not? Her hands fidgeted with her hair, but still the pinkette tried maintaining a straight face. She couldn't show weakness in front of all these people! She didn't even know them! Except for Eido, that was. "A-alright. Let's do this." At least she looked cool in this costume. If only Haruto was here to see her.
Seika Murakami 'This is it...' Fingers curled into fists at the sight of the mansion. This place... she would never forgive whoever did this. And she couldn't forgive herself for having let her guard down...for falling for this trap.
"Hatsu..." Her gaze turned to her companion, an eyebrow arching. "What's with...that costume?" She couldn't help herself. That costume was just... so... ridiculous. But he looked...so cute. Damn him.

"Watchdog Man" Hatsu Harima, the Heartbreak Kid"Aa, I'll stand my ground...I'll help you."His eagerness to defeat the b*****d that had harmed Seika had lead Hatsu to leading the team's march towards the so-called 'Haunted House', and it was only once they came into view that he began to calm down just a little bit, his tension easing slightly as he looked back at the team and...caught a bit old look at the red-haired girl's rather beautiful and elven costume. His cheeks instantly caught fire as his words caught in his throat...barely even registering her protests to his own costume. "Aa...you look cute," the words slipped out before he could stop them, but no sooner had he said it than he realized he was probably due a punch to the face...or at least the arm. In his mind, it was pain well-worth it. She had an almost ethereal look to her, were it not for the earthen charm that her tattoos lent to the ensemble. And then there was his costume...his favorite Watchdog Man! A real hero. He smiled faintly as she asked him about it, assuming (as though he could assume anything else!) she liked it almost as much as he did.
"It was the cheapest," he nodded calmly, not even considering that the reason it was likely the cheapest was that nobody else wanted such a simplistic costume, "Aa...and it's warm. Do you want to feel the fur?"
...Go on, Seika. Pet it. Pet the fur.

 Eido Fon Fabre Aeroda
If Eido was shaking before, it wasn't showing as well anymore... Admittedly, because of the...distractions in the forms of the pink haired, smaller girl..And the bunny girl. One could see he had a flush on his cheeks, but when the famous Volleyball queen took stage....He completely flushed red. "I..I..It'll be fine...Everett..' he stammered, blushing, and flushing. "I...I like your costume, by the way. It....Looks.....super...cool." The Hat...the mask......His eyes had to keep from trailing down the outfit...Lest he get destroyed. But..It was a nice outfit.

Seika Murakami "C-cute?!" He was right about the punch. She hit him in the arm, before shifting her gaze away from him in an attempt to hide the color in her face. "I am not cute! I am not supposed to look cute! I knew this costume thing was a bad idea..." the redhead grumbled under her breath, pacing about to relieve a bit of the tension she was feeling. Miina and Muramaro always came up with such outlandish ideas, and the redhead wasn't sure why she had let them 'help' her with her costume this time. A sigh escaped her, before turning back to Hatsu, his blushing face making her to relax just a little, a little smile on her lips.
And then he was asking her if she wanted to feel the fur of his costume.
"..." Her gaze trailed to his costume...and then back to his magenta eyes.
"...No."
But still...she bit her lip and sighed in defeat...her hand reaching over to pat Hatsu's head. It...really was soft.

::Noelle Everett:: There were some really good costumes out there... but well, they weren't the important part of this. If she had understood correctly from what Iori san and Yamagishi san had said... they were here as backup, just in case something went completely wrong. People had been kidnapped her. They needed to find what was going on. And... looking at things...something would go completely wrong. She could feel it.
Her bright blue eyes turned to the source of a voice, Aeroda reassuring her that things would be alright. "Yeah... I hope you are right." She didn't like this at all... and...was he staring at her? And was he blushing?
Her eyebrows knitted together in confusion, and eyes narrowed suspiciously, about to confront him about it, before listening to the compliment, her face brightened up. "Oh, thank you! It is something I had from before! I love wearing costumes in Halloween. I always win the contests." The pinkette sounded proud of herself, winking playfully. "You are looking good as well."

Eiji "The Gin-pire" Mishima Gin folded his arms and sighed, loosening his pose only enough to let the bit of his cape he'd caught under his arm free. He'd found a cheap pair of fake fangs and a cape, and though it might have seemed like a cop out to most people, he really wasn't the type to do his own makeup in the morning...and he couldn't well ask a designer to pull a costume out of a bag for him for no reason now, could he? And of course, telling them about the real purpose of the costume, to deal with this mansion, would have been out of the question. "Bleh." As far as vampire lines went, it was pretty par for the course. Still, his costume was technically sound, if lacking in originality. And considering it wasn't even Halloween, there was good reason for him to be the one with a temper about the whole affair. But he wouldn't take this emergency lightly...they would find the truth behind that evil Midnight Sales Show tonight, no matter what. The games were coming to an end. "I think we should keep an eye out. You never know what might lie in store."' Simple words, but wise advise when one remembered that the last time Strega was involved, someone had died before their very eyes...
