The rainbowhaired DJ grinned as she swiped a old-fashioned sailor costume off the rack and draped it over her arm with a collection of other outfits she'd gathered on her wandering route through the store. Ragstock was a wonderful place to get costumes... they were more legit than the trash sold at places like Party City. It was maybe a little more hit or miss if what you found was in the right size, but there was a lot more variety and far better quality. Plus, they had all the extras too, like fake fangs and fake blood and make up to make yourself look dead. sid loved this store. "Come on!" She called over her shoulder with a laugh. Spinning about, she spotted her flat mate's blonde dreads and bounced over to grab his wrist, tugging him towards the dressing rooms. "You have to try these on. I don't care what you buy, but you have to try them all on. For science." She teased as she walked backwards, swinging her hips in an exaggerated motion just for the fun of it. "You can't go to a Halloween party without a costume, Mate. Look, its an American thing, ok? Everyone does it. I mean, you risk being literally burned at the stake if you don't, and besides that, you'll stick out like a sore thumb." She released his wrist to throw her arm around him, hooking his neck in the crook of her elbow. "You're going to be at Chou's club, escorted by the Technicolor Butterfly herself! I've got a reputation, you know?" Even if that wasn't her only reason for subjecting him to this torture... Really, she just wanted to see him dressed up. "I'll make you deal though! If you try everything on, I'll try on stuff for you and maybe I'll let you pick what I wear. How's that sound? Just expect that if its like, a fully pink bunny, that I'm going to shred it up and splash it with blood because UGH pink." She made a face and let him go, laughing as she darted ahead to hang her collection of hangers up in the room and hold the curtain open for him, giving him a bow and wave of her arm inside.

Rob had already decided that he really had no choice in the matter this time. Sid was going to do what she was going to do to get her way and there was no power in the universe that was going to stop her. His scowl deepened as he allowed himself to be dragged in silence through the store toward the dressing rooms. He could still let her know he was displeased about all of this American Halloween crap. The holiday wasn't as big a deal back home in the UK; he genuinely didn't understand what all the fuss was about. America was a very silly place. Still, if he was going as her escort to the club he supposed he should look halfway decent. For her sake, of course, not his. He wouldn't have given two shits if it wasn't Sidney. Despite her little quirks and annoyances, she was still his dear childhood friend. He couldn't deny her anything. Even if it meant embarrassing himself in front of a bunch of strangers. "You want me to try all of those on?" He stopped in front of the entrance to the room, looking as much the immovable object as Sid was the irresistible force. The offer she made of allowing him to pick her outfit was tempting, though, and at her expression of disgust at the color pink he knew he would have to pick something pink for her. "Alright. You win. As long as you promise I'll be able to dress you up." Sighing heavily, he strode into the dressing room, turned to give her one last death-glare, and dramatically closed the curtain. Leafing through the hangars. Rob's sense of horror grew at the costumes Sid had picked for him to try on. Some of them looked… uncomfortable. And by 'uncomfortable' he meant there wasn't much to them. He selected one to start with, a white jumpsuit-looking thing, and set it at the front of the stack. He then proceeded to strip off his clothes down to his boxers and tried the outfit on. It was open at the front down well past his navel and fit like a very snug glove, but at least it mostly covered him. Unlike some of the other costumes she'd selected. Flinging open the curtain again, he presented himself to Sid for evaluation, once more silently scowling.

"Yes, all of them!" She laughed as he passed her, already eyeing some of the items on top of a nearby rack. She offered him a grin as she angled a look back at him, her tongue ring between her teeth. "And yes, I will let you dress me up, now go!" His dallying would have earned him a slap to his nicely shaped a** if he hadn't spun around to glare at her. Sidney simply grinned back before the curtain fell and while she waited, she poked about at the various props to go with the costumes. There was a rather nice top hat with velvet sides and a feathered skull decoration that promptly found a home on top of her rainbow mop before she snagged a skull topped cane. Spinning it between her fingers, she was busy squinting at a cheap, disappointing pair of vampire fangs when she heard the curtain rattle open on its metal rings. When she glanced up it was to find a very surly looking Rob in white and rhinestones. Sid pressed her fingers to her lips to hide her grin, but nothing could keep the shine out of her eyes as she swept him up and down. "Ooooo, hot Elvis, very nice." She tapped her chin with a finger before she made a face. "We'd have to find you a wig though. The hairstyle was part of the package and I feel like no wig is mighty enough to tame those locks... So you better put that one on the no pile." She sighed as she stuck the vamp fangs back onto the rack, her cane making lazy figure eights. "We'll have to try for things that work with any hair, I guess. But it was worth seeing you in it."

To his immense relief, Sid poo-poo'd the Elvis jumpsuit. "Just as well, it's a bit snug." Rob adjusted himself before retreating back into the dressing room, surly expression intact as he closed the curtain again. Quickly peeling himself out of the jumpsuit, he perused the other costume selections Sid had made for him. There was the sailor suit, but that was just a bit twee for him, and for what it sounded like she was looking for. He wasn't even going to give it a go unless she made him -- he already knew what her reaction would be. An Egyptian-looking getup in gold lame', that might be fancy enough for her. And a kilt… Either one of those would work with his hair. A smirk crossed his lips; the remainder of the outfits seemed geared to have him exposing as much skin as possible. He picked up a bit of fake leather fabric that looked like a loincloth of some kind. That was getting tried on last, he decided as he dropped it on the floor. Removing the kilt from its hangar, he pulled it on, adjusted the bit of fabric like a sash across one shoulder, and looked in the mirror. Yeah, as he thought, half-naked. But he'd performed without a shirt on occasion with Torgo, painting Celtic symbols on himself with woad. That could work with this… What was he thinking??? He was falling right into her trap -- cooperating with her plans to dress him up for this Halloween party. It wasn't like he wanted to be a jerk to her, but he didn't want to make it easy either. Hell, it was only because he couldn't deny her anything that he was going at all! That made him grumpy again, and when he threw open the dressing room curtains he looked as sour as ever. "Well?" he half-demanded, spreading his arms as he presented himself to her. He felt like a reject from Braveheart.

"I'll say it is, but I don't mind." Sid grinned as she watched him head back into the dressing room, enjoying the view of his backside. It was only a little bit of a shame... he looked good in it, but it really didn't fit his personality very well. Riffling through the rack, the DJ found a pinstripe coat with tails that made her eyes light up. In moments she had it pulled off the hanger and slipped over her shoulders, her hands tugging it into smooth lines as she puffed out her chest. It was a little large, but maybe if she padded the shoulders... A grumpy call from the dressing room pulled Sid around and magenta eyes widened at the view of the blonde highlander in the door way. The appreciative look turned into a wide grin as she sidled over, reaching to straighten his sporran. "Ooooo, I like this one." She purred smoothing a hand up the piece he'd thrown over his shoulder. "Certainly fits you better. You look like you stepped right off the cover of the latest romance novel." Really, she couldn't help the teasing note to her voice. It would be impossible NOT to tease Rob about anything he put on today, precisely because he was so grouchy about doing it. Even if he looked hot as hell in what he put on... "What do you think? And more importantly, did you leave your underwear on?" Sid chuckled.

Rob snorted. "Romance novel," he grumbled as Sid adjusted his sporran. He had to admit to himself he rather liked it, and he also had to admit to himself he rather liked that Sidney liked it. He was doing this for her, after all, wasn't he? Certainly not for himself. He could give three craps about Halloween. "I dunno, I reckon it's alright," he shrugged, not wanting to outright tell her he approved. "At least I don't need a bloody wig for this one, and it ain't chafing. Bit breezy, though, even though it's like down to me knees." He flounced the kilt for emphasis. "And no, I ain't wearing anything beneath it. That's not how it's properly done. I'm no Scotsman, but I know how to wear a bloody kilt." He gave her an appraising look as she smoothed the plaid fabric over his shoulder. "I like that coat on you, love. With the hat, you look fantastic." Anything to get the attention off of him. And she did look awfully cute in it, even if it was a bit too big on her. That made it even cuter.

She snickered at his grouching, the sound dissolving into a chortle as she walked around him and her hand slid across his chest. "Breezy..." She purred as she came around the other side, fingers trailing over his shoulder and then down the dip of his spine. She had to admit, the bare skin was very nice... and the way he swung his hips for her, it drew the eye, warming her grin as she leaned around his other side. The short woman grinned as he complimented the coat she'd pulled out and Sid smoothed it over her chest, grabbing the hem to tug the coat straight as she puffed up under it. She even reached to tip her hat at a jaunty angle as she grinned at him, leaving off her primping to reach up and hook her hand on her friend's shoulder. "I'm glad you like our outfits." She said as she leaned her weight on him. "And you know what the best part of that outfit being breezy?" Sid rocked up on her toes, reaching to brush her lips close to his ear as her fingers wandered down his backside over the kilt before giving him a playful squeeze. " Its got easy access..." She left off teasing him then, bouncing away to spin the cane in her fingers. "Next costume, Rob! We've still got a few to go through! But put that one in the 'Maybe' pile."

Rob tried his best not to blush as Sid teased him with her hands and words. He also tried his best not to grin. He was still annoyed at having to play dress-me-up dolly for her, even if he was going to be her escort at this Halloween gig. True, it would have been bad form to just turn up in his usual 90s-punk kit, and he did clean up pretty well if he felt like putting the effort in, but it was the principle of the thing. But he had to admit, this was kind of fun. Especially the teasing part. "Right," he heaved a sigh. "Next costume." Turning to go back into the dressing room, he waggled his behind at her before closing the curtain. She was lucky he hadn't lifted the back of the kilt at her and given her an eyeful. Not like it wasn't anything she hadn't seen before, though. He stripped out of it and returned it to its hangar, moving it to a different hook since it was a 'maybe'. He riffled through the remaining costumes. Twee sailor outfit -- still right out. Sequined singlet -- no <********> way. Then he remembered the bit of faux leather he'd dropped on the floor. Picking it up, he tried it on. It covered his behind and his bits, yet still offered plenty of exposure for Sid. Pulling open the curtains, Rob presented himself once more. "This ain't much of a costume, is it? Kind of… Jungle bloke. Wossname." At least it wasn't leopard-print.

There was a grin on Sid's face as she dug through the props on the rack nearby, thoroughly pleased by the wiggle he'd done for her. It meant he wasn't as grumpy about the whole thing as he acted and the act itself was just to make sure she knew she was imposing on him... but Sid was entirely unrepentant. This was fun... his antics couldn't dampen her mood. When Rob finally emerged, Sid's full attention was on him at once and a wide, slow smile creeped across her face. "Tarzan." She hummed as she came to get a better look, reaching out to wiggle a finger under the waist band of that little loincloth and tug at it. "It looks very nice on you, but I'm not sure its quite... right." A glance back at the store confirmed no one was looking and the young woman figured she had been good long enough. It was hardly fair, watching Rob strip down to his skivvies where she couldn't properly enjoy it... But there was a perfectly nice dressing room right there and no one was looking... Sid pressed closer, bracing her hands against his stomach to push him back towards it. "I think you need to try the other one on again, so I can compare. Its too hard to decide, just seeing them once..." Sid purred, her eyes as bright as her inviting smile.

Before he could stop her, Rob found himself being forced backwards into the dressing room by Sid's insistent hands on his stomach. "You don't have in mind what I think you have in mind, do you," he asked flatly, voice low as he was being pushed, absolutely certain of what she had in mind and knowing full well what her answer would be. He knew that expression and that smile too well by now to suspect anything else. Once they were both inside, he quickly drew the curtain, thankful it extended nearly to the floor. He sure as hell didn't want to get kicked out of the store for doing inappropriate things in a dressing room stall. Though he was certain they wouldn't be the first or the last to do it. He had to admit to feeling something of a thrill at the prospect of doing something illicit like this, however, with the potential of getting caught. It was rather exciting and made him forget his grumpiness at having to dress up for her. Gently he took both her wrists in his fingers and removed her hands from his bare torso. "Now, do you really want to see me in the kilt again?" He couldn't fight the smile that forced its way onto his lips.

"What do you think I have in mind?" The shorter woman hummed innocently as he pulled the curtain shut on the dressing room, most of her attention on sliding her palms up his stomach just to feel the ridges and valleys of him. A dressing room was hardly private to the point most prefered, but Sid rather loved it. The thrill of the possibility of being caught was incredibly enticing, adding a new flavor to playing with the blonde. She wondered, faintly, if he'd ever tried it before... Sid had this feeling his breadth of experience didn't quite match hers and being able to introduce him to new things as such fun... She made a noise as he pulled her hands away from him, pursing her lips in disappointment. His skin had been deliciously warm under her fingers and she pressed closer to it, letting him hold her hands away. "I do want to see you in that kilt again... but not right away. Let's have a little fun first..." Sid smiled as she leaned in, stretching till she could press her lips to his bare collarbone. She feathered kisses down the line of it till she could swirl her tongue around the hallow of his throat and remind him of the ball and stud through it with a little flick of that appendage. "Just keep your voice down unless you want company." She murmured against his skin before she dragged her teeth across it.

He knew it. What Sid was up to was no good. Or rather what Sid was up to was very good, given Rob's experience with her on the kitchen floor. The dread over getting caught and the thrill of potentially getting caught butted heads in his mind. He wasn't the sort to do something like this… but then, he'd never really had the opportunity to back in London (well, except for that one time in the loo of a very loud club, which he only half-remembered because he had been very drunk at the time). So did he really know for certain he wasn't the sort? There was only one way to find out, he decided. With that sorted, he gave in to the ministrations of her mouth on his throat, arching his neck back in pleasure. Releasing her wrists, he slipped his hands beneath the jacket she wore, working his fingers under the hem of her top to run along her sides and back. He allowed himself a soft noise as her teeth scraped across his skin, but only a very soft noise, just enough that she could hear but muted by the music playing in the store. Leaning his head back in to hers, Rob nudged Sid's hair aside with his nose and nuzzled, teasing her many ear piercings with his teeth and tongue before turning his attention to the sensitive area behind her ear. "I can be as quiet as a churchmouse, love," he purred softly against her skin as he slowly walked her backwards toward the wall of the dressing room.
