The civilians are taken one by one, so quietly and so subtly that it's nearly a week before anyone realizes that almost twenty have disappeared. With absolutely no leads and no background and no explanation, the police are at a complete loss to help; and besides, they might have had a bit of misdirection carefully swayed in their direction to prevent any unwanted investigations.
One of the civilians taken, most unfortunately, is the brother of Celsus, Transcended Knight of Chronos. It's on accident; they don't realize who they're taking, and Tolliver should not even have been at the loft that day. After a day of reconnecting with his brother, the two of them had spent the evening watching a movie together, and both had left to get more snacks,
But Tolliver was taken just outside the store, when his back was turned. Fritz powered up to Celsus and caught the faintest traces of a power signature before it disappeared, too far away and too fast for him to even start moving to catch it, too distant to even recognize which direction it's coming from (and vice versa).
But the faint traces of a signature at least give him a tiny head start - a lead that the police wouldn't have, because the police wouldn't think to look at the Negaverse for answers.

You wake up.
The first thing you notice is that you are not at home, you are not at school, work, or anywhere else familiar to you. If you try to move, you'll find that you are sitting on the ground with your legs outstretched and bound at the ankles, and that your arms are tied behind your back. Both restraints are simple rope, not chains, but they are tight to the point of almost being painful. You can't get out of them, and trying will surely result in something a much worse fate.
You don't remember how you got to this place, but you do remember what you were doing before you awoke. Everything is rather hazy, and for the most part, you still retain all of your senses, but if you were carrying anything at all - purse, bag, wallet, etc. - they are all entirely gone, even down to spare change in pockets.
There are other people in the place with you. Some are civilians, like yourself, tied up as well. The others are several feet away, clearly standing guard, dressed entirely unusually for just simple human - unless they're part of some gang you're unfamiliar with. If you are familiar with or have run into these sorts of people before, you will know that they are not the type to be messed with.
You cannot escape. You cannot run. You are trapped.

CHAOS AND CIVILIANS
LOCATIONS:
There are ten different locations. Two civilians and two Negaverse are in each location in the theme park. It has been quite a while since this park was used, and almost everything has fallen into disarray; everything is rusted and broken, frozen in place like the inhabitants simply picked up and left one day. There is still water for the water rides, but it's green and slimy, covered in leaves and trash. There is, surprisingly, still some electricity - the Negaverse has turned it back on after months of disuse, which means that half of the fixtures are old and yellowed, some not even working correctly so that only about half of the park is lit, giving it a very eerie, imposing feeling.
If you are a civilian, you cannot escape (yet). Any attempts, and the Negaverse has been instructed to yank your starseed without question - they might just do it anyway, depending. Who knows.
If you are a Negaverse agent - or corrupted senshi, whichever - now is an excellent time for you to play your cards just right. Time to see if you can't get a few new recruits from this batch of people, right? Besides, you've done this to prove something, to show your strengths to the Negaverse.
You'll give them a choice: they can either join the Negaverse, or they can die. It's up to you how you choose to try and persuade these civilians.
After you have discussed things with your civilian, you are free to let them roam the park to interact with other players - however it is still heavily guarded, and they will still not be able to escape.
Please use the codes at the top of your post so that you can identify yourself / show where you are! You don't have to use these exact codes, they are just there to help as long as you are posting where you are! You can only communicate with people in your area, so make sure you are noting where you are!

ROLLER COASTER - KAYDEN AILE - (CIVILIAN)Kayden hurt all over. Her body felt sore. She had been on her way home from archery class when she was jumped and since then couldn't remember what was going on. It made her anxious.
She tried to move her arms. Her legs. Nothing. She hesitated before calling out.
"H...Hello!?!?" SWINGS - PYROPHANITE - (NEGA)Pyro was swinging on one of the many of the swings and not paying all that mind to his captives. One in particular might've gotten a snide smile but he was with Haüyne and she was far more fun than a bunch of potential meat bags.
"Do you think this place could be haunted?!?!?"

ROLLER COASTER - (ANNABEL MIKAEL) - (CIVILIAN) Annabel snarled, yanking against her restraints. It wasn't often something provoked the more... feral qualities Anna possessed from years of fighting in back alleys, but being tied up (and not in the good way) topped the list. She'd been so stupid. The one time she'd dropped her guard because the girl was cute, and then she wound up here. Where ever here was. Some sort of roller coaster....?
The young woman started to mutter and curse under her breath, more of a growl than anything, and tugged against her arm restraints. The rope dug deep into her skin, but didn't loosen. Damnit damnit damnit! She was so... so... helpless.
And she hated it.
Her head snapped into the direction of the voice. She wasn't the only one here. Anna wasn't sure if that was a good thing... or a very, very bad thing.
"Oi, you okay?" she called back, a flare of pack protectiveness flaring in her chest. Didn't usually happen, but given the circumstances... Best they stuck together.

SWINGS - Lily Epilor - CivilianThe first thing Lily realized, upon her waking up, is that she hurt.
That wasn't new. She's used to semi-chronic pain, really. The interesting thing is the nature of the pain -- feels like ropeburn. Her fingers are going all tingly and a little sparkling with feeling, and Lily realizes with detached interest that she's been kidnapped. That was new, actually. She'd never particularly worried about kidnapping in her day-to-day life -- but it's good, to know what something new is like. Take a note. Write it down. Tap it out.
The other girl -- girl, maybe, because she looked to be perhaps a little older than Lily herself, even though she was still unconscious -- isn't familiar. That's probably good. No association with the other victim.
...two of them. Two, in uniform. Uniform? Something like that, perhaps. A boy, her age or about, with wavy hair; and...a someone, difficult to describe, in electric blue. A rope bow, long hair, gangly limbs...the sort of outfit - slash - costume you'd see in an elaborate routine. Lily coughed, trying to draw attention from the boy to her.
"...Excuse me. Where are we? Who are you?"Pixie Nyxie she's asking pyrophanite!

HAUNTED HOUSE - TRISTAN BAUTISTA - (CIVILIAN)Woozy. He felt totally woozy, and maybe a little nauseated. He was about to call out for his mom but once he came to he realized he wasn't home. He wasn't even in his neighborhood. He wasn't even free to move. He tried to though, until a pain shot up his arms and legs and he stopped and groaned. So he spent his energy trying to remember how he got there instead, wherever "there" was. He came up blank on the how, though the last thing he could remember was that he was on his way home. With his backpack, which he just then noticed was missing.
"Great" he muttered as he turned his head to see what was around. Mirrors, it looked like, and another body. It wasn't anyone familiar, but some small part of him was relieved that he wasn't alone.
It sucked that someone else was here, obviously, but...well.
"Hey," he tried to get their attention. "Hey, you awake? You okay?"

SWINGS - OLGA - CIVVWow, this was some of the best rest she was getting ever---was an idle thought as she blinked once, twice, three times, and then realized she wasn't in her bed, and those voices she was hearing weren't coming from her phone. Olga's eyes snapped open, and her immediately reaction to move was hindered by the rope she felt, and saw, around her ankles, and the rope that was biting into her wrists behind her. Well...it didn't take a rocket scientist to jump to the assumption that this was feeling like a kidnapping, backed up by the person nearby who was also tied up like she was---and then--- Oh. Oh it was Cheetohs, and then some other...person...Olga grimaced, and after those few initial moments of observation, she felt a knot of panic start to set in her gut. The last time she had seen Cheetohs, well...he had gotten his nose broken by a knight because of her...and as much as an optimist as she was...she didn't think an apology was going to...get her out of....whatever and wherever this was...abandoned carnival. Definitely not adding to any good vibes here. "Well...I mean, magic exists, so I don't see why not?" Olga called out to Pyrophanite over there and his friend. "Say uh....Cheetohs...this doesn't have anything to do with what happened back at the University, does it...?" She offered a tentative and sheepish grin, and then looked over at Lily. "But since you're here, maybe it wasn't just me, yeah?"

RESTAURANT - Anxo DeLuna - CivillianAfter all that dragging and roughness that Anxo slept through you would think that it would take something pretty darned strong to wake him up. Perhaps a bucket of water, or someone punching him in the gut. Nope. Nope not at all. What woke him up was a SMELL. Oh god, it was terrible! It was as if his nightmares of working at a fast food place had become real again and that the grease was clogging every single pore in his body. He loved a good greasy burger as much as the next person every now and then but this place just smelled like it was old, like the oil had been sitting and stagnating for years and years. It was enough to easily arouse him from his temporary slumber.
What he came to first see was trash. Ew. The silence around him was what came next, then finally, the stiffness in his shoulders and legs. His bottom was sore as hell, a sensation he recognized as having sat down in the same position too long on something way too flat and hard for his liking. The Instinct to stretch came hard but as he moved there was resistance. Was he bound up...? Goddamn, he was, wasn't he? Well, what did he expect...? He should have KNOWN better than to walk about at night in this day and age. But Nooooo, he just had to have that late night swim, didn't he? Another brief glance was given about and with it his suspicions were confirmed. His stuff was all gone. Granted, it was just a bunch of junk and wet clothes but atleast maybe that multitool could have come in handy. Ah well.
The one thing that could move was his neck, and he gave that a nice slow roll, cracking what he could. And in that roll he spotted two others sitting nearby, in the same position as he was.
Surprisingly, fear wasn't the first thing he felt when he saw the other two sitting beside him. Naw, fear was something he learned to push back into the depths of his mind a while ago. Instead it was concern. He was worried far more about the other two that sat with him. Were they alright? Were they BREATHING?
"Hey you two, you doing okay?" Even if they weren't there wasn't anything he could do. Just call it a courtesy at the least.

{Rollercoaster} Empressite - NegaEmpressite hadn't known exactly what it was she was signing on for, when she had volunteered to take part in this mission. She knew, at least in the abstract, that it was about kidnapping some civilians and ... recruiting them. Well, either that or rip their starseeds from their chest. And she thought it would be simple enough. An easy way to ease back into her duties, since her civilian life no longer required that she travel.
But so far it was far from what she had expected. The kidnapping part wasn't too bad. It was simply a matter of finding a likely subject, bashing them over the head and bringing them to the prescribed place and keeping watch over them. That, that was the crux of the issue. She simply hated the watching and waiting. Waiting for just the right moment...
When she heard the first tentative hello, Empressite startled somewhat, thankful for the shadows she used to cloak her whereabouts, as she watched. It seemed to her that it was showtime. She cursed her lack of an imposing weapon, and even more her lack of an imposing figure. She could not ... forcibly recruit her captives, so she would have to find a different way.
'My, my, my. What have we here?' She all but purred, as she peeled away from the shadows and stepped into the light where they could see her.

HAUNTED HOUSE - CAPTAIN PROUSTITE - NEGAProustite had never been so organized in all of his years as an officer. Kidnapping civilians was a great deal more work than he was used to- required a great deal more effort. Unless compelled by a direct order, 85% of the time Jack spent powered up he was stealing s**t. He supposed that kidnapping was not unlike that. Except people were not nearly so useful as a new pair of golf clubs or designer jeans or the tiny set of drumsticks he'd bought for little Freddie- who was five going on fifteen, and almost as good at pissing off his mother as Jack had been when he was that small. "I don't know why the ******** this old park is still here," Proustite drawled, stepping carefully into the funhouse over a pile of broken wood that looked like it might might once have been a door. He carried a pizza box. Size XL. It was not for sharing. Probably Moonstone could have some if she tried for a piece- Proustite was not in the habit of actively pissing off people who could beat him up, when there was no one else around to save his a**. Tristan and Caitlin would (most likely) not be having any. "This city asks for trouble, leaving scrap heaps like this just standing around." He chose a seat on the dusty floor, opened the pizza box, basked in the steam and the aroma of melted cheese. And then he pointed at Tristan, cocked an eyebrow. "Don't you think this is exactly the sort of place some psycho would use to hold you hostage?"

ROLLER COASTER - NIALL CROFT - CIVILIANNiall woke up slowly and uncomfortably. At first, for a moment, he panicked - he had certainly never been tied up or kidnapped before, and he really wasn't sure how to handle it. But there were other people, calling out - as long as he wasn't alone, he could hope it would turn out okay.
"Oh god there are other people," he said, and it came out a little desperately, "thank god."
He jerked his head towards the new voice, the one that was much more sinister. His eyes narrowed. The smart thing to do would have been to cower and quail, but every once in a while, Niall channeled his utterly fearless boyfriend and did something...not so smart.
"Wow, could you be any more of a supervillain cliche? Like, at least try not to be a walking trope, it's not a good look."

RESTAURANT - Amphitrite - NegaverseThe smell in the restaurant was, indeed, atrocious. But it phased her less than it should have. To be fair, in the past year or so, Amphitrite had smelled many worse things than this: the youma train and its remnants, her own stench in her five weeks of captivity (so much felt like a dream, yet so much remained disturbingly vivid in her mind), and some vague recollection of the stench of rotting vegetables connected to something she couldn't really recall. Some trash and old grease, while unappealing, didn't quite turn her stomach anymore.
To be completely honest, deep down, she'd be lying if she said the operation didn't disturb her a little. Her most vivid memories were still of her own captivity and torment. While she saw now it was for the greater good, as this was, still - something about seeing those prisoners bound on the floor made her distinctly uncomfortable. Not that it showed. Her smile came as easily and boldly as it ever had before, and she had been trying to warm Captain Jet to her when the prisoners had awoken. It was buried deep, deep down within the pit of her stomach, twisting and churning and making her feel more ill than the smell was.
None of these people would share her fate, though. It was join or die, not an interrogation. It was similar, but not the same - and really, truly, Amphitrite considered her best method of dealing with the situation was to face it heard on. It'd more or less worked for starseeds. She generally didn't flash back to that moment Leucite had plunged his hand into her chest when she handled them now - hadn't, actually, since her upgrade.
Seeing now that their captives were beginning to rise, Amphitrite threw on her sweetest of smiles, sauntering over and crouching down some short distance from them. Three - they'd been entrusted with three. "Hello darlings," she greeted in a warm coo, tilting her head to a side. "Our apologies for the less than ideal conditions. Really, we'd like to get you out of here sooner rather than later - isn't that right, Captain?" she called back sweetly over her shoulder.

ROLLER COASTER - Dahlia - Nega Mauvian (currently cat form)In her tiny feline form Dahlia did not have to try so hard to 'hide'. She'd been lounged in the seats of the deteriorating coaster car, more interested in cleaning and grooming herself until she heard the noises of movement and her dual colored eyes focused in on each of the captives her and Empressite had been left to guard. One seemed timid, a perfect target for sweet talking. Another seemed far more active, struggling hard against her binds while snarling. And the final, the sole male of the group, made some sarcastic quip. Really this would have been so much easier if they'd had a single target to work with.. having a group left so many obstacles. But beggers could not be choosers and they had a mission to fulfill.
With a deft grace the creme colored cat leapt from her place on the seat to stand a top the car a second purr sounding as her tail swayed back and forth, her body language (to anyone who had much experience with cats) that of pleasant and friendly curiousity.
"So sorry for the restraints my darlings,." A voice exuded from the cat, sweet and silky. "Sometimes the boys can be a little bit bruteish but I promise you you're all here for your protection."
