Mega Stone Changes
Mega-stones the mystical powerful objects able to change a Pokemon's appearance, type, and ability all the while grandly increasing its potential in battle to the absolute extreme ! Until now these powerful items have given a base +1.3 boost to both Physical & Special attack damage however this isn't entirely true to the games. See each mega stone effects the appropriate Pokemon in a different way.
Charizardite-X & Charizardite-Y change Charizard's base stat's differently with one becoming more powerful in special attack and the other becoming more powerful in physical attack. These changes in the Pokemon base stat's dramatically alter the way we play with them in the games.
However our Mega-stones only change a Pokemon's damage output and not its other stat's. What this means is that Mega Charizard-X doesn't get its physical attack increase over Mega Charizard-Y who in turn doesn't get its special attack increase over Mega Charizard-X and a Mega Aerodactyl is no faster then a Caterpie of the same level and Mega Steelix is no more defensive then a Magikarp of the same level.
To this end we have three potential changes to take into consideration for a future update or to simply leave mega stones as they are now. Changes to the mega stones wont be a quick thing but we need your input so we know which direction to take for this update. Keep in mind the increase from a Mega Stone doesnt count towards the 6 stages a stat can increase, the stones just increase a pokemon natural power.
Option #1
Give each mega stone three stat's it will increase with each stat being increase by 1.2. The stats increased will be appropriate to the Pokemon in question.
