User Image It had taken a lot of serious thought and heart to heart talks with her uncle and with Ashlynn. And even yet, the imp was afraid that she'd be viewed as a disappointment to the ones she cared about. Granted, Ashlynn had told her that she'd love her no matter what she decided. And the babies were still too young to understand things like school and University.

Part of her decision was due to the babies. She wanted to be close to them and not have to give them over to the Academy before she absolutely had to. And then... there was her uncle. He was willing to provide her with the jumpstart she so desperately wanted. After all, the offer of a storefront and just enough capital to start and keep things moving until business was nice and steady was nothing to sneeze at!

"I could have my shop," she murmured quietly as she lay on her bed and stared at the ceiling. The storefront was close enough to Asterion that she'd be able to see Ashlynn frequently. And when it came time for the babies to go to the Academy, it was close enough to a portal that would let her see them every day if she wanted. She was being offered a chance to follow her dream. And though she was admittedly skittish and perhaps a bit flighty, she was fairly certain that she wasn't a fool.

And only a fool would turn down her uncle's offer. Besides, she wasn't like Ashlynn! Furthering her education meant very little. All she wanted was a big, lovely family and her pet shop. And it was all within reach.

Nodding to herself as she reached a decision, Coralie sat up and reached for the pen and parchment. She would not be going to University. It was time to write to her uncle and accept his offer.
