On the Friday before Halloween while everyone slept through the morning, a new structure formed on the hill outside of town. In a small copse of what seem to be dead trees a semi large Victorian house formed. The house is run down, the windows broken and dirty, the siding loose and weather worn, the boards on the steps uneven, the wood eaten through and weak and the curtains holey and torn. When the door and building is investigated during the day, the doors remain locked and the house uninviting. From inside the house, noises could be heard as if something was moving around. As if something was living there, something was working in there. If you watch from a distance, the curtains move as if something is standing there and if watched for long enough, you swear that something is watching you back. There must be something inside that house, something sentient and curious about the outside. Late at night, for those who watch and notice, at midnight the door slowly opens, light spilling forth from the house almost looking inviting. Where did the house even come from? Who will answer the call of the house? Who will explore it and solve its mysteries?

Note: You will have 15 minutes to reply to my prompt. You can post more than just one post in that time, I just need to know which direction each person is going so I can post the replies. Each post will have exits you can go to but you can also stay in the room and search it more thoroughly.

As you step in and look around, this was once a beautiful foyer, the wallpaper and decorations if alive and in one piece would have been a very nice entrance to a wealthy house. Now however such glamour of past seems to place everything out of place.
The wallpaper missing patches and some loose on the wall hanging off the wall as if arms reaching out for you. Against the right wall there is a small table that holds a very dusty vase with dead stems which was probably flowers in the past. Cobwebs connect the vase to the table and the edges of the walls. As you finish taking in the details of the room you are in a stiff breeze blows through the house from somewhere unknown and a howl on the wind. The wind catches the door and slams it shut, at least you hope it was the wind that closed the door. When the door is tried, it feels stuck or locked. You could probably pry it open but that would take some time. Something is aware you are here, is it a creature or maybe the house itself?
In front of you, you see a continuation on the foyer to what looks like stairs and a back door possibly open? On your right is a door, it is shut tight so you don't know where it leads but there was more of the house in that direction so maybe another room? To your left is another door, slightly a jar so when peeked in it looks to be an old dining room. Where do you go?

Lamont looks around. His gaze curious as he takes in his surroundings. "What a creepy place.. Creepy but beautiful." He always had an odd view on beauty. Yet as he looks around. He decides to press forward and moves further into the house. Heading for the stairs.

Having looked around Blue decides to turn to the right and walk in that direction to see if there are others doors that she could she can find and open. Or other rooms she can look around in that aren't locked.

Laylani looks around the room wondering what had happened to this place to make it be in such bad shape. Her eyes linger on a few places here and there. She takes a deep breath and decides to go left.

As you open the door to the right, movement can be heard in the room but then disappears. As you enter the room you can tell this was once a hosting room for company and visitors. People gathered here to chat and have some fun. Now the seats looked torn and skeletons of what they once were.
The light from the outside are constantly blocked by the trees almost as if they were trying to keep the room in a dark state. To keep details hidden and the room from lighting up much. A table in the center of the room is covered in cobwebs and dust, a small plate and tea cup left behind by its old inhabitants.
Above you notice the chandelier clink as it moves softly in a wind that doesn't exist. Cobwebs hang from the spindles of the chandelier also waving back and forth with the movement of its host. What could be causing this movement?
When looking closer a specific chair has claw marks along the fabric, something definitely has been alive in here and ripped this chair apart. The dust has been disturbed on it as was the cobwebs. What has been living here? Did you disturb it when you entered and if so, where did it go?

Pushing the door open to the dining room cobwebs protest and break as the door is pushed open. You can feel not all of the cobwebs broke though as they brush against your face feeling like tiny fingers running over you.
The dining room is fairly large compared to today's rooms. A large 12 person table sits in the middle of the room, upon it rests a cloth partially eaten by something. Cobwebs lead from the table to the chair, except on 1 chair. There is disturbed dust on this chair and the cobwebs have been broken. Almost as if someone had been sitting there recently.
Large windows with trees out front give eerie shadows on the inside walls making it hard to determine what is a tree and what might be a threat. As you step deeper into the room, the fireplace comes to life with a small but comfortable fire. There is no one in the room to have started it, how is this possible? Soft music can be heard but where is it coming from?

Going deeper into the house in the hallway between all the rooms, the stairs look to be in very poor shape. There is debris from the upstairs fallen as some steps missing. These missing steps fell down into the steps doing downstairs as well. It seems there is a second floor and a basement to this place but inaccessible as of right now.
Looking at the left area is a hallway with a right door, left door and door at the end. Not much that way other than more rooms but maybe there is something in those rooms?
While looking down the hallway, there is movement in the back of the house, but where did it go? The stairs are not really an option and it definitely didn't pass you to go into the hall. So where did it go? Whereever it went it was very quick. Seems like there is something living in here but it moved very quickly, how difficult would it be to catch it or do you even want to?

Laylani shivers slightly when the cobwebs brush her skin. She looks around the room very curious as to what is hidden in this place. Her eyes scan the chair with the disturbed dust curious as to who had disturb it. She walks towards the fire jumping when it is lit. "This is so strange but the fire is nice." She heads forward.

After taking everything in about the room that she can Blue makes her way over to the chair just to look at it while deciding where to go next or what to do next. Not wishing to go back the way she came she starts to make her way forward and to the left while she starts to slightly shiver from the fear she is starting to feel deep inside of her. Though, knowing that someone was in here? She just had to make her way forward to see what or who she can find while exploring the house.

Lamont blinks at the sudden movement. Piqued by curiosity he moves to go forward left to try to give chase.

You see Lamont move into the library in the forward left door, he seems curious as he's looking around for something.

Vampire's Response:
Going forward through the dining room, the door opens to a kitchen. A very old kitchen with old style kitchen supplies and tools. Hanging from the wall is some old and rusty pots and pans, cobwebs seems to connect to them and wave in the air that you have disturbed. Seems like nothing has come in here for a very long time.
On the counters are more pots and pans, knives and ladles laid across the surface, all rusting but once high quality and well kept instruments for the kitchen. A thick layer of dust covering every surface in here, confirming there has been nothing in here for a long time.
The tune you heard in the dining room is definitely coming from this room but is not easily noticeable in a quick glance. A cupboard door slams closed and bounces open from the disturbed air.
