Okay so...She had to choose a weapon huh? Shouldn't be overly hard, just grab and go? Why did it have to be in some deep, dark cave?! Do these people know what could happen in these types of situations?! Probably not, otherwise she was sure there would be no cave to venture in; instead there would be a nice fancy armoury with hundreds of weapons to choose from and one unhappy quartermaster that would punch you if you tried to steal. BUT, Mercy decided she was up for the challenge, stomping down the steps while looking in every nook and cranny just to make sure nothing jumped out at her. Because, having something jump out at her meant that some one was getting a black eye, or hunters will find her body at the bottom of the cave all mangled and junk. Well, either way, she had a good life...
When she reached the bottom of the stairs, the sight that greeted her made her jaw drop. Sure, there was just one torch and it was dark, but that wasn't what got her. It was the many runes on the wall that drew her wandering eyes, beckoning her to come closer, which she did. She ran her hand along the wall, listening to the whispers that sounded friendly to ones that made her cover her ears from the wailing. She finally came to the conclusion that these were the weapons that she had to "choose" from. So far, she wasn't having any luck, and she thought that she would be weapon less until she heard another whisper from above her slightly. The voice had a certain dark and velvety sound to it.
If you're looking for a weapon, try looking above you and to the right slightly.
Mercy blinked and followed the directions, spotting a rune that seemed just like all the others, but different at the same time. She jumped a couple of times before she finally managed to grab it, staring in awe. "I guess you're supposed to be mine?"
Of course I am your weapon...Otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation now would we? Do try to refrain from asking stupid questions Mercedes.
She frowned then, rolling her eyes. "Its not a stupid question you dumbass...Wait, how am I even talking to you? The others didn't!"
Again...Do refrain from asking stupid questions. I will explain everything as soon as I am able. You may call me Draex, but if you wish to know my full name, it is Draex The Destroyer.
At that, Mercy burst out laughing. "R-R-Really? Draex The Destroyer?! Pfft! Ill call you Draex The Destroyer of Holes!" She jumped when the rune took the form of a staff, grinning while she twirled it around a couple of times, walking back the way she came. That is NOT my name Mercedes! Kindly refrain from using such a disgusting name again! I will not tolerate immaturity! Mercy simply ignored him, whistling and walking out the cove with a smile on her face. This was gonna be amazing!
