Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Naamah was young when she had met the dashing stallion that would be Agares' father. Samael was handsome, strong, imposing and willful and she immediately fell in love with the male. She was utterly, hopelessly tied to him from the beginning, though she was never sure if he ever felt the same way as she did. She supposed not when one day she awoke to find the stallion gone. There was no explanation, no indicators that he might leave soon. He was simply gone, off on some new adventure to where she'd never know.

All she DID know was that soon after his departure she discovered she was with foal, and Agares was born. She was too young and too alone to handle being a mother too well, and would often wander off and leave Agares alone, sometimes for days. Once, during one such time, he had an accident with a two-legger that caused him to believe he saw spirits roaming the lands. It all became too difficult for the young Naamah to handle, so as soon as Agares was old enough to survive on his own she departed, much the same way Samael had left her.

She wandered far out of the soquili lands, not really sure where she was going. A piece of her felt that perhaps she was searching for her long-lost Samael. Did she want answers? Or was she still in love with him? There came a point where even SHE wasn't sure anymore. All she knew was that she searched, travelling great distances and facing great perils.

Eventually she made her way back to the soquili lands and her heart ached for a different sort of reunion - one with her now estranged son. Guilt and regret had followed her all of those years she was away and it burdened her to think about how she had abandoned her only son. With a heavy heart she sought him out, fearing his reaction...

Now she is desperately trying to rebuild a relationship with her son, and could use the support of a loyal friend.

My Long Lost Family Member

Soquili in search of a relative:
User Image
Relation : Brother
Breed (first choice): Kalona
Breed (2nd choice, must be mini, common, or uncommon): Preferred pure kalona (she's from the great Kalona herd so it makes sense for pure kalona), but if necessary, anything but kelpie.
What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The skull of a small animal she sacrificed

Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: As a foal he was attracted to things that are outside of the "norms" of society or that are unexpected. Anything unconventional is right up this guy's alley. Of course he'd never ACT like someone was unconventional or strange. For example, despite the fact that his sister is an usdia he'd never treat her any differently than any other soquili. He doesn't even see that there is anything different about her, or their brother. To Asli they all make perfect sense and has never questioned how his two mothers made them, or why all three of them are so different in their traits.

He doesn't understand any of the strange looks that others throw their way, and does not at all tolerate negative comments thrown his family's way. He has claws and he isn't afraid to brawl if it comes down to it. He's wild at heart and difficult to contain, as he doesn't conform to rules or standards of others.

As an adult he's inherited Alayna's free spirit and adventurous tendencies. Shortly after reaching "adulthood" he slipped away from the family unit without a word, off on a grand adventure to see what he might. He feels a small pang of regret that he didn't leave word with someone before leaving, but he wasn't one for tearful goodbyes, and there was certainly going to be tears from someone.

He's grown to understand on some level that their family is very different, and he perhaps most of all. There is some sort of stigma against those with paws, something he didn't really understand. He'd heard the whispered word "skinwalker" before, but he has no idea really what sort of creature that might be. He is sometimes met with fear, where his other family members might only be met with curiosity or disdain. Part of the reason he left home was to explore this part of himself, to see what it meant to be pawed instead of having hooves, and to find out what a skinwalker might be.

He still enjoys to challenge societal norms or tend towards the quirky and strange. He finds those who are different stare less and are a little more accepting to him and his family unit. He is defiant of rules in a lot of cases, though not in anyway that might bring harm to others, at least not on purpose. He still has a good heart and a general desire to be good, if mischievous.

He has a very romantic view of love. Having heard about and seen what his parents did to be together and the subsequent miracle of his and his siblings' birth he believes that love is absolutely sacred. He hopes to one day find the sort of love that would defy all convention or resistance like his mothers' love. He sees having children as an act of miracle, regardless how they came to be, naturally or by the magic of wishing stars. Life is precious, and love is not to be trivialized.
