6:00 am - Basements
Scout was pretty used to waking up early for the shop and her habits from back home carried over to the academy. She had a sort of militancy about her, eating her breakfast right on the dot, getting her coffee in due time after.
7:00 am - Basements
After getting breakfast in the commons she actually returned back to her dorm. She didn't have duty until 8, but she was always up obnoxiously early so she had the extra time to loaf around. Then she put on her comfiest clothes and left for her duties.
8:00 am - Lab Wreckage
She began the slow walk out to the old labs location, prepared to help others with the rubble, the wreck. Being just a mist trainee she was mostly tasked with basic clean up. She didn't mind so much though; it was good work (not easy work, but good). The only thing that bothered her was how cold it was out in the early morning. She pulled her scarf a little closer.
12:00 pm - Lunch
Seeing as it was a huge pain to haul a** back to the cafeteria just for lunch, everyone had been packed small bag lunches. Rather childish, but Scout appreciated childishness. It reminded her of home.
2:50 pm - Infirmary
Scout was early to her infirmary training, because Scout was early to everything. She just wasn't sure who she was supposed to be training under. They'd ... they'd probably show up and notice her, right?
5:00 pm - Laundry
Before getting into her PJs and getting really comfy, she made an effort to do her laundry. Waiting around by the machines was boring, but she knew if she walked away someone would probably mess with her stuff.
Oh well. The faster she got this done, the faster she could hermit.
6:00 pm - Basements
Now that she actually had time off she could head back to her dorm and lock herself away from the world. It was always so exhausting spending a whole day around people. She was introverted and needed the time to revive. 8:30 am - Lab Wreckage
Kyle’s shift at the infirmary wasn’t till much later today so as soon as the Sun was done with his morning training and breakfast, he made his way to the wreckage to help those who were already there with the cleaning up. Hauling a particularly large piece of rubble onto the nearby wheelbarrow, he paused to wipe the sweat off his brow with the back of his hand, turning to the lightly freckled Mist who was nearby to make some light conversation.
”Don’t think I’ve seen you around before. Are you new here or something?”

8:30 am - Lab Wreckage
Scout blinked a few times, not realizing he was talking to her. She walked towards him with a few scrappier pieces of piping in her hands, keen on putting them in his wheelbarrow.
"Oh. Uh. No I'm not new," she said awkwardly, heaving her piping into the wheelbarrow before wiping her hands of the dust and grime. That was what a coat was for- wiping grime on. "Just a trainee ... still ..."
There was an awkward pause as she debated returning to work or continuing the conversation. Then she said, "I'm Scout ..."

"That makes the two of us then Scout." Kyle went for another piece of debris, lifting it slightly to check that he was going to be able to handle it on his own before picking it up to transfer it to the wheelbarrow. Just a little more to go before the wheelbarrow would be full enough for him to transport its contents over to the main chute that was located slightly off-site. The process was slow but it made for good weight training for him plus he could see that they were making steady progress as the days passed and everyone played their part. Hopefully it wouldn't be long before the infirmary where he spent a good part of his time at would have four walls and a proper roof over it once more.
With a tilt of his head, he smiled warmly at Scout, his gaze taking in the division symbol that was on her coat. "I'm Kyle. I take it that you're with... Mist?"

12:00 pm - Lunch Tommy had been part of the mist team ordered to help with clean up of the lab wreckage, but he had also been put on pod duty earlier, and that shift had a bit of a scheduling error in that it overlapped with when the lab duty was meant to begin. As a result, he arrived about an hour later than everyone else, and had set to work immediately, keeping his head down and working hard in an attempt not to be noticed and called out on his tardiness even though it really wasn't his fault. By the time lunch time rolled around, he was feeling a lot less worried, and he collected his bagged lunch with a large grin before turning and having a look around. He realized quite quickly that there wasn't really anybody he knew, and so he approached one of several veritable strangers, a woman who he had seen around from time to time but whom he had never actually spoken to. "Hello! Would you mind if I ate my lunch here, with you?" He asked, while giving her a friendly smile. Quote: Thomas Giacinto is an Italian, 20 year old trainee mist hunter. 8:30 - Lab Wreckage
Scout didn't spend a lot of time in the infirmary (all the patients made her sad), but she did enjoy helping other people piece it back together. She liked this sort of work a lot more than she liked cleaning minipet cages anyways. She thought normal feces were bad, but fear infused feces were something else entirely.
"Mist, yeah." She sheepishly pulled her coat forward to show, then realized he'd already seen it and awkwardly flopped the material back down. "You're new too?" At least he hadn't abandoned the conversation entirely.

12:00 pm - Lunch
Scout looked up at him with big, owlish eyes. That was a lot of smile on one face, and she was always a little bit wary of brighter types. Then again, she'd been wary of Abbi at first too. Maybe it was unfair to judge someone just for being extroverted.
"No ..." she said, clearing a spot for him. If he came for conversation, he had better be the one to continue it, because Scout was terrible at it.

8:30 am - Lab Wreckage
There were times when Kyle wondered if he would be more suited to be in Moon or Life, especially taking into consideration the amount of time spent and vested interest he had whenever it came to his infirmary shifts. It was rather unusual for a Sun but not necessarily a bad thing in itself and he really hoped that he would be able to work out some kind of an arrangement that would allow him to actively pursue his interest.
"Yeah. I suppose you could say that since I've only been here for a few months." He nodded. He would like to think that he had been around long enough to know mostly how things worked on Deus but it was probably too early to say at this point since he hadn't even received his first external mission assignment just yet. "So what are your duties like on a daily basis as a Mist? I mean... the orientation that I had gave me the impression that you guys are supposed to do everything."

12:00 pm - Lunch "Ah good, thank you!" He sat down next to her in the cleared space without further ado, stretching out his legs in front of him and plunking his lunch down beside himself before leaning back on his elbows, apparently not as interested in eating at the moment as he was with his company. "This is quite the mess they have us helping with. I was not around when all of this..." He gestured around. "Happened. Were you?" A beat of pause, and then a sudden grin. "Ah, I am sorry! Where are my manners? I am Thomas, though ah, Tommy is preferred. And you?" Quote: Thomas Giacinto is an Italian, 20 year old trainee mist hunter. Very friendly, very flirty, full of energy.

"Yeah ... a lot of stuff. I help out everywhere, try not to get in anyone's way." Being a jack of all trades certainly was scary. It was hard when everyone expected perfection when they were getting someone average at everything.
"You?" she asked him, "Your division ... I mean."

12:00 pm - Lunch
"Scout," she said quietly, biting into her badly made peanut butter and jelly, using the chewing as an excuse to not have to talk to this overly energetic man. It wasn't so much that she was bashful, more that she didn't like being put on the spot.
"I was there, but I was asleep so I missed most of it ..." she admitted. She'd been stuffed in her basement hole and trying to catch sleep in between shifts. It wasn't very brave, but that was the truth.

12:00 pm - Lunch "Oh? I see." He grinned, and finally reached towards his bag, pulling it open to peer inside before reaching a hand in to fish out a sandwich for himself. "I mean, it is a shame that you missed out. It was probably quite exciting!" He began to unwrap the sandwich, and took a quick bite, chewing and swallowing before continuing. "I have a roommate that likes to sleep a lot. She is forever napping. I admit, I do not know how she can do it?" Another small bite was taken. 12:00 pm - Lunch
Even though she was asleep, she'd heard stories and worked in the infirmary after. "Exciting" wasn't the way she'd word it ... but to each their own.
"I can sleep through most stuff ... Out like a light." After that she took a bite of her sandwich because she was so frickin' awkward.

”It’s the least you can do when you’re just starting out and trying to figure out what you’re good at as well as where exactly do you fit in the grand scheme of things. If it helps in any way, I felt the same during the first two months or so too. So you’ll be fine.” Kyle volunteered with a smile, hoping that Scout would be able to draw some comfort from what he had shared that what she was going through was absolutely normal for most, if not all, hunter trainees.
Loading up the wheelbarrow with some more debris, he stopped to rest for a bit. ”Oh. I’m with Sun so most of our time is dedicated to physical training since we’re supposed to be the front line offensive guys. I suppose that makes it sound kinda dangerous but well…” He gave a shrug. ”Someone’s got to fill the role.” He did after all owe it to the organization for getting him out of the asylum that he was locked away in because of the things in the darn shadows that harrassed him to no end.

8:30 - Lab Wreckage Scout thought maybe she should have explained she'd been here for nearly a year now ... But then thought better of it. A year and still a basic trainee wasn't exactly a reputation you wanted to have. So instead she said, "Yeah ... Thank you, I'll keep that in mind." She did, however, feel the need to pipe up and represent her division. "Mist is dangerous too ... We have to be able to do any job." Did that sound too forward? Too harsh? "I hope you don't have to go on any missions that are too scary..."
