It was settling on the earliest and latest Pyrophanite had been out for the day and he had been sadly lurking the shadows, rather then doing anything of use.
He hadn't seen most of the people he went on patrol with, and it seemed the Negaverse was becoming very thin of members and less with any of rank.
He didn't often break out the smokes, but he took one now and looked at the sunrise. It was a terrible morning, and he had nothing to show for it.

While Pyrophanite had been busy focusing on the sunrise Victoria had managed to near him and look across at the sunrise him. He frowned softly, he usually wasn't out this late either but he'd been doing some soul searching and trying to figure out things lately. He'd make excuses later to his family.
He leaned on a wall just standing there for a few moments until the other said s**t. "I'm not sure if that sounds troubled or otherwise. . . " He finally said with a soft yawn. "It seems though time's slipped up, even with the days getting shorter and nights longer." His eyes were half lidded as he spoke. "Caught up in our own little world and war as the rest of the world passes us by. . . "
He paused, "Though I digress. I'm Victoria." He offered, he was in no mood for a fight. Hoping the other would also not be interested in fighting for such early hours.

He almost dropped the cigarette on the dude below him and laid his hand on his chest. "Dude, a little ******** warning." It was his fault for not noticing the aura, "It's troubled."
He didn't bother moving and took a deep swig of smoke. It was calming and he hated it. He hated smoking.
"War that we seem to be losing." Pyro looked down at Victoria. "Pyrophanite, friends call me Pyro, well they would but I only got a couple of them."
"How come you ain't trying to punch my face in or something."

Victoria paused glancing upwards, again towards Pyro. "Sorry, I figured you would've felt me lingering." He said simply, before sighing softly.
His brow lofted when the other side losing, "Are we talking about the same war?" He asked curiously before looking around and moved to join the other. "Nice to meet you." he said, he tilted his head, "I know the feeling." He added.
There was a pause while he joined the other standing now where he could see him and tilted his head before sitting on the ledge. "Ain't my style." He answered simply looking out from the new vantage point. "I don't like the whole punch first ask questions later. Though some of my teammates prefer the method I believe."

"I'm a little out of it." Pyro scoffed, "If you couldn't tell." He took another drag.
"Destiny City. Its losing, but around the world? I don't know." Pyro stared down at Victoria, "We're a 1000 better and more dedicated then you guys. And everything you've done is wrong and terrible. But yet, you guys get the upper hands."
He waited.
"Whats a team?"

Victoria nodded softly, "Mmm, yeah some coffee would be nice. I probably shouldn't've stayed out so late. . . " He admitted softly, he had a real job too at least it hadn't been horribly busy as of late.
He nodded softly, "It's losing a lot. There's more property damage than ever. I'm not sure what we'll end up doing if the whole city becomes destroyed." He stopped when shrugged softly, "I think . . . it depends on what you're looking at, you've had come clear wins if you ask me. I think, it oddly balances itself out in wins or loses, but what really is a win and what really is a loss?"
He tilted his head softly gazing over the city. "Sometimes, I wonder that myself. . . though, it's suppose to be a group of like minded people or people of difference strengths and something that connects all of them; to create a group in which one can work together and compliment the others." He shrugged softly, " . . . doesn't happen as often as we'd like to make it."

"Coffee is for old people." Pyro made a sound of disgust and stamped out the half of cigarette he made it through. "Late, early." He leaned back. "Should get home before the 'rents wake up, but they don't care either way so you know."
He wanted to say something snarky but...Victoria was right. What was win, or lose? In war? It was just about how much damage you could take before it was all destroyed.
"What happened to your team then? And why you ain't with some of them?"

Victoria started laughing a little bit, "Yeah it might be but it's also got a decent caffeine rush. Though I suppose Cappuccino's and Latte's have the same effect."
He hummed a little as he nodded when the other said should get home before the rents wake up, "Same, my siblings would probably wake up first though."
He paused when the other asked what happened to the team, "Busy I suppose, I'm sure they're all doing important things. Elsewhere."
