Harper had managed to coax one of the kitchen staff to give her a bag of marshmallows before she headed to the building where the portals were. It had taken her a few extra minutes, there were a few turns she had missed or taken in correctly but eventually she figured out where she was going. It was strange, the whole portal over to another and being there in a blink of an eye. When the technicians gave her a wave to go through Harper took a deep breath of air, letting her cheeks puff up, and closed her eyes before stepping though. Opening them she found herself on the other side, for the most part she felt like herself everything was in one piece. It was strange still but she couldn’t say she hated it the experience, more like it was a weird fun. Now she had to find where Liam and the others where.

Liam had slipped his phone back in his pocket as he'd headed out into the ran, jogging across the soggy lawn and through the rows of tents(in the rain, seriously?), hurrying towards the portal building where Harper was waiting to be collected. And collect her he did. A wide smile split his face as he came in the door and saw her, and however shy he might have been in her presence previously, there wasn't much trace of it now as he pulled the smaller girl into a tight, lingering hug. Not only had he missed her, but he'd spent a few days not knowing where she was and if she was alright. It was hard to recall exactly when he'd sen her last. Things leading up to the lost time seemed disconnected and hard to follow, and with the discovery of the mess of his back, he had to wonder what sort of Hell they'd been through before the hunters had found them. When he finally did let her go it came with hands on her shoulders, holding her back so he could look her over from head to toe, and it was a very lovely view, but what he was looking for was damage. Finding none, the smile returned. "You're looking well. By contrast, Liam looked a little like a wet dog. His coat was damp, and his hair wasn't much better. Drawn back by the same green headband he'd woken up with his first day on base.

Harper stood there, rocking back and forth on her feet waiting for Liam to find her. She would have tried to find the cabins but since she hadn’t been to the base before she figured that it would have taken her longer to find him then waiting. She did have her new hunter jacket on with a long green scarf hanging down; with all the rain they had mentioned she was happy to have it with her. “LIAM!” As he opened the door Harper grinned, breaking into a full sprint before diving in for a hug from him. She had missed him, she had missed all of them and seeing a familiar face since she woke up made her almost forget the whirlwind of things she had to learn and been through. There was no care that he was damp from the rain, she was just glad to be able to hold someone she knew and of course give him a kiss on the cheek. When he finally let her go she looked at him, everything was the same as when she had last seen him. “I hope I look ok they said I was asleep for quite a few days before I woke up I guess it was from not sleeping for so many days. I am really glad to see your ok Liam, other than being soaked.” He seemed ok, unlike the few random scars that she had hidden on her body, even a real ugly one running along the side of her stomach. When she had gotten them she couldn't remember, there was some assumption that it was the reason why she was shoved into a pod. “I got a bag I hope it’s enough, it took some real pleading with the kitchen staff but someone snuck me out some.” She wasn’t sure if everyone was going to be there but she hoped they would. “Also where did you get the green headband it looks just like the one I had.”

She looked better than okay, and the truth of that was evident in the subtle rise of color in pale cheeks as she smiled up at him after drawing back from the hug. Dressed, the boy seemed relatively unharmed. There was a healing bruise on the side of his jaw that he didn't have any memory of getting--he assumed from whatever had given him all the other injuries. Everything else was hidden; from the bruise edged bite marks that seemed to cover about 60% of his body, the mystery slash across his shoulders(now successfully on the mend with a few stitches at the deepest points), to the mess of bruises that decorated his torso. The majority of these injuries he hadn't even noticed at first. "I think a bag should be enough, unless someone gets all greedy." He grinned at her, then blinked, puzzled." Headband? Oh, the green one?" A hand came up to touch it, and his lips twitched, brows furrowing. "I'm really not sure. I woke up here with it. I woke up with a a lot of things I don't have any memory of getting." And apparently he wasn't the only one, as he'd found out the other day. "Where do you want to go first, though?" They could head straight over to Cecil's tent, or he could give her a tour of his cabin, or even show her around the base, even though he still didn't really know his way around. He could find the mess hall, the infirmary, the common rooms, and the portal building, clearly.

There were scares on Harper’s body, but no bruises, she did have some a little when she had woken up but they no longer seemed to exist. It had really dawned on her though, why or even how. Even the small pinch of breathing when she woke up was no longer there. “Good. As long as everyone gets one I am happy.” She returned his grin, knowing that if she ate more than two that the sugar was likely to make her sick not that she wouldn’t try anyways after everyone had their fill. Looking up at the headband as he reached for it, she reached up as well letting her finger trace the little design on it, it was definitely hers. “I swear its mine and I didn’t wake up with it, I usually keep it on my wrist. Maybe I did gave it to you? Maybe… I don’t remember…” Her voice trailed off, maybe something really had happened before the pod, maybe it had been a lot worse than she could have imagined bad enough for her to forget the entire time period of over a week. Enough that a lot of them were still unaccounted for. “To your cabin of course, you promised to show it to me and it sounds better than my room already, afterwards we can meet up with Cecil and the others.” A tour sounded fun but at that moment Harper wanted nothing more than to be with the rest of the university members, the tour would always be around for another day.

He frowned, ready to pull it from his hair so he could offer it back to her. "I don't know. I asked around a bit, it seems like we're all missing memories. Whatever happened..." And he let it trail off, lips pressing in a thin line before the chance of topic was fully embraced. Memory loss was a worry for later, not for right now. "Cabin it is, then." He was going she'd say that. Taking her hand, he turned like he meant to lead her off before pausing. Harvard had said he had to stop being so passive. So, boldly, he turned back and bent, catching her across his shoulder so he could lift her up and just carry her out. "Wouldn't want your boots getting dirty." Because his intentions were totally that noble.

Harper looked puzzled at him as he mentioned missing his own memories, it wasn’t just her being in the pod then but some of the others too. It was a discussion though for all of them, and not something she wanted to worry about now after finally seeing them again. “If you need it keep it Liam. I like it better on you having a purpose than me leaving it on my wrist anyways. Just don’t lose it ok, it’s my favorite and I’ll be so wounded that you lost my gift to you.” She turned to him giving a large crooked grin before turning into a soft pout and placing her hand over he heart as if she would just die if he didn’t keep it. As Liam took her hand she took a step to start skipping to his side, only to find that he had stopped suddenly. Puzzled she didn’t quite gasp what he was doing until he has swooped her up in his arms. Immediately her mind went to protest as she looked at him, and for once she shut her mouth before blurting words out. Instead she laughed wrapping her hands around his neck. “Only if you insist.”

If she wanted him to keep the headband, then that it what he would do. Liam didn't have many personal items, and this one now meant a little more knowing it had come from her, even if neither of them remembered the context of the exchange. "Oh, I insist," he informed her playfully, head turning just enough for him to shoot her a grin before heading out of the building and into the rain. And here he probably should have thought this through a little, because the way he had her slung over his shoulder meant it was her butt and thighs that would get the most wet. Oops. He was just going to have to walk quickly. Long strides carried him down a row of tents towards the cluster of cabins. "Don't lose the marshmallows." When he reached his cabin he walked right inside before stooping to let her down. Grinning still, but sheepishly now.

She returned his grin as they headed outside, of course it was apparently still raining and Harper wasn’t sure if him carrying her was adorable or that she was more of some sort of an umbrella for him at this point. It didn’t matter to her really, if she could have she would have held her jacket over his head too if it helped plus all she had on was some shorts and tights they would dry pretty quickly if she hung them up. “I won’t, they might be smooshed but still edible.” As he carried her she looked around at the tents and few of the other cabins, it had to be a little miserable, the tent it was with all the rain they had been having. She wondered how many university students were shuffled in them and if there was anything she could do to help. When Liam set her down she gave a light laugh before grinning up at him. “That was fun, I am glad you insisted. So this is your new home?”

"New, yes, but I wouldn't call it home." He had a wistful sort of smile. The dorms had been home, with family. This was just stability and apparent safety. They'd been scattered to the wind after whatever had happened that none of them could remember. "It's not bad though. Caroline helped me get it livable, and she stops by a lot to make sure I have what I need." Speaking of... He took a step towards a stack of towels on his dresser. "Do you need one? I got you wet. Sorry." He didn't look that sorry about it, not of the grin was anything to go off.

It was like being in the new dorms at Deus for her, the cabin was more spacious than hers but she hadn’t the heart yet to call it home. Maybe after a few weeks, maybe when they found more university people, maybe when she took some time to meet the others in the hallway and chat with them it wouldn’t seem so foreign. “I am glad Caroline is here, even though we haven’t found where Corey has gone.” She didn’t want to really think of what may have really happened to their leader, or the others missing if they weren’t in pods. “Yes please and don’t worry about it, I haven’t been in the rain for awhile it was fun…. I mean, I guess if it rained everyday I wouldn’t like it as much.”

"We'll find her," he assured her, as much for himself as for her. They'd found Charlie, they'd find Corey as well. They just had to keep looking. For her and all the others from university that were as of yet still unaccounted for. It was just a matter of not giving up. That was the trick.
He grabbed on the towels, unfolded it before gathering it in his hands as he moved back to stand in front of her. "It's not too bad today. Lighter than it has been, and it looks like maybe it'll stop for a bit tonight if we're lucky." The corner of the towel was brought up, and he dabbed at her cheek, unthinkingly, to dry it off. "I don't think I'd mind it so much of it didn't get so chilly at night." But then that's what extra blankets were for, he supposed.

“Yea, I’ll keep looking around the island as well. Its really big so it might take a little more time.” There was also trying to fit it around the rest of her schedule and not being shooed away by other hunters for being in places that were not her division.
Harper remained mostly still as he took the towel and started to dry off her cheek, there was of course the grin on her face as she looked up at him keeping her eyes on his. It was a sweet gesture, and by no means was she going to correct him that she could do it herself. Him doing was more fun and she was enjoying his attention at the moment.
She chuckled for a moment trying not to move too much when she did so. “Too bad you don’t have a roommate, sometimes they are perfect for cold nights.”

Really, there wasn't much water on her face, but Liam took his time with what there was, and then sort of...kept going. Cleaning away water that wasn't there, because it kept her there, looking up at him with those pretty green eyes and sweet smile. It also brought a breath of color to the boy's cheeks, a subtle darkening to pale skin he tried to hide with a duke of his head, but of course that wouldn't work. Her comment made him chuckle, because the idea of crawling into bed with Harvard, his former roommate at the dorms, was fairly funny. Less so now, perhaps, but still. But there had been other evenings, times he'd spent the night in the common room, and there'd been warm bodies around him. "Maybe if you were my roommate," he offered quietly, smiling even as he avoided her eyes.

Harper could see the little bit of flush showing up on his cheeks as she kept staring at him. It only made her grin even more as she kept her eyes on him, even when he was beyond done drying her off but kept trying to anyways. He was rather adorable. “If I didn’t have to be back at the island I would definitely be your roommate Liam.” As long as he didn’t mind her probably hoping into bed every night to snuggle with him. Not as if she was incapable of sleeping on her own but it was never really any fun and it was pretty cold. “But if I have a night off and its cold you can always message me and I will be there.” There was no mention of her having to leave early in the morning for training and so forth.
