Character Name: Atira Brackwell
Race: Orderite
Gender: Female
Path: Battler
Class: idk yet...either barbarian or warrior
Appearance:

Expert Hair: It should reach right about mid-back. Blunt, full bangs.

Apprentice Clothes Inspiration - [x] - as a small girl, Atira is almost always in a dress of some sort. She's the epitome of 'cute little girl'. She likes to look cute and thinks that that requires dresses and all things 'girly'.
Adept Clothes Inspiration - [x] - as a teenager, Atira moves slightly away from the girly aspect, as far as her clothing is concerned. Less frills and such. Still likes to wear skirts and pretty things but not as fancy as when she was younger.
Expert Clothes Inspiration - [x] - as a young adult, Atira's attire has become more practical and hides more of her body. Now wears either pants or shorts (though if shorts are on, she mostly likely has a skirt like overlay on).
Master Clothes Inspiration - [x] - haven't decided yet.

Biography/Background: With one action, Atira's life was changed forever. Before she was even one year old, she was taken from the family that had given her life and whisked off to Ayr — away from everything she had ever known for her short life.
Laniya Brackwell's pregnancy was a normal, healthy one for the first few months. Thing were going well enough until about three months into the pregnancy. After going through some pains for a few days, Laniya miscarried towards the end of her third month. This devistated the mother to be and broke something inside of her. She told no one of this, other than her husband, and became a recluse of sorts.
Shortly after she lost her baby, Laniya's neighbor (and once close friend) visited and announced to Decran and Laniya that she was expecting a baby. Laniya felt a cold chill through her body at this news and a bitterness filled her. She had just lost her baby and now this person was expecting. It wasn't right. As time passed, Laniya's thoughts only darkened and became more bitter.
The woman had to of used some sort of black magic. She had stolen her baby's soul. During all this, Laniya confided in her husband. Who, in turn, did his best to convince her that it was all in her head. That their friend had not done these horrible things she was accusing her of. However, being the dedicated and loving husband that Decran was, he eventually gave into his wife's pleas.
Decran, as per the pair's plan, became close to both the woman and her husband, exchanging stories and offering to help around the home as needed. This and his patience paid off when the woman went into labor late one night and the husband came to fetch Decran. Knowing he would have no other chance, Decran stored his blades in their sheaths and made his way over to their home. By the time he was finished, both the husband and wife were dead and Decran handed over a wailing, baby girl to his wife.
Over the next week, Laniya put up the ruse that she had given birth to a heathly baby girl and soon after, the slain man and woman were discovered. Feining horror, Laniya and her husband announced, to their family, that they would be moving away. They wanted to give their little girl a different environment to grow up in and not be next door to such sad stories. With these lies in place and their little girl all bundled up, Laniya and Decran set off for the continent of Ayr.
Thoughts on the Great Engagement: Secluded on Ayr for most of her life, Atira hasn't had much hands on experience with the war. And as a kid, she's even more disjointed from it. In school she learns the basic history of the Great Engagement and knows that they are currently in a time of peace. However, she also hears the adults whisper of what is happening on Soudul and Serenia. Once she chooses her weapon and starts training, her interest in fighting will grow. And should there ever be a time that she was called to battle, she wouldn't hesitate to join her race in taking down the oblivionites.
Thoughts on the Magescian Races:
- Orderites: Her race and the best race. She feels like they should be the ones to rule over all the other races. Despite living on a continent known for its mix of different races, Atira still clings to the racism she's learned from her parents. Even though she does grow up and starts to form her own opinions, she will always feel that her race is superior to all the others.
Oblivionites: Dirt. Lower than dirt. Oblivionites are the scum of Magesc and Atira wouldn't spit on one if it was on fire. As a kid/teenager Atira is nasty to any oblivionite she comes across and picks on them. She refrains from starting any kind of fights up until her mid-late teens. Once she picks her weapon, however, her temper starts to get the best of her and she'll end up coming home bloodied more than a few times from fights with oblivionites at school.
Dovaa: The weakest of the races but tolerable as long as they aren't siding with oblivoinites. She thinks the ones holed up on the Celestial Plane are cowards and deserve to be ruled over. At least those outside of the Plane aren't hiding.
Hybrids: Hybrids are a part of the world, like it or not. Living on Ayr, she's had her fare share of dealing with hybrids and has become tolerant of them, to an extent. She doesn't like that they exist but they do and she deals with it. Her hatred of oblivionites carries over for hybris as well.
Thoughts on the Dragons and Khehora:
- Khehora: She has only met a few wild khehora and a lot of bonded. The khehora, to Atira, are an interesting race. While they offer a chance at some great power, through a bonded, she doesn't think she'll ever have one. Atira can't imagine tying another being down to her for the rest of its life.
Dragons: Wild animals and a means to an end. Dragons give soul orbs when slain and soul orbs mean more power. They're an essential part of her advancing in her training and she has no problem taking down a dragon to obtain that power.
