Enoukn had decided: Jezebeth was the best friend ever. Having introduced him to the wonderful library at the school, a whole new world of things had opened up to the Baphomet freshling. He had borrowed a few story books from the library and was on his way to visit Jezebeth. Since the weather was getting colder, Enoukn had decided that staying indoors and reading was probably the better option. Though he would probably go out into the courtyard and check up on their tree before he went to bed. He made a note to write Mr. Corben a thank you note for that - Maybe Jezzie could help him with it! Yes - that was a good idea he could ask her as soon as he got there. His little hooves clip-clopped against the hard floor of the hallway as he made double time for Jezebeth's room. Once he reached it, he knocked lightly on the door frame before letting himself in. "Jezy are you here?" He asked, placing the books on the floor by the door to lighten his load. "I brought some new books for us to read!"

Jezebeth always kept her door open these days. There was a time when it was always closed, keeping out the distractions that passed by trough the hall. However, she now had a friend! A friend who was welcome to pop in on her any time he felt like it. She didn't really go to his dorm room often, since it was a shared space with several other freshlings. She much preferred spending their time together in her room or outside in the courtyard.
When Enoukn entered her room she was sitting on the floor with her legs crossed, with her own array of books sprawled across the table in the middle of her room. She smiled when he mentioned he'd brought new books and waved him on over to join him at her table. Aside form regular books there were coloring books as well. Pencils, crayons, and blank papers covered the little round table in her room. Usually she was a bit more tidy than this, but she'd been working on homework and doing some coloring for fun as well before her friend had showed up. She figured she might as well leave them out, they could color or read something together after all!
"Awesome! I've already read most of my things here." She almost constantly had a book in front of her face, it was a wonder she didn't need glasses from all of that reading. She scooted over and made room for Enoukn to sit next to her at on the floor and still have room for the both of them at the table.

Enoukn was glad to see that not only was Jezzie in her room - but she was already actively engaged in reading and coloring and all sorts of other things herself. Good, he'd come at a good time then! Picking up his stack of books he brought them over and laid them out in front of them, and then took a seat next to Jezy. He leaned against her a little - not enough to be a pain - but enough to keep some contact with his friend. Jezzie had been the main cause of him finally being able to leave his stuffed toy in his bed and face the world on his own. Mainly because her presence took over for the stuffed toy. She was a comfort to him. She was HIS friend after all. "Hopefully I found some new ones," He said as he pulled one from the pile and handed it to her. "What're working on?"He was curious - maybe it was something he could help with?

Jezebeth gently leaned into Eno as her sat down next to her. Whenever they spent time together they usually spent it sitting as close as they could get without bothering the other person. She liked being close to her friend, in both the hobbies and physical sort of way. When he asked what she had been working on she pulled out one of the coloring books, this one featured plants, and another book as well.
"I've been coloring these pictures as close to the real ones as possible!" Not only did she get to have fun coloring, but she also got to learn more about different types of flowers and trees all at the same time! Who didn't enjoy learning a thing or two while they were coloring? She sure did.

Enoukn smiled as Jezebeth leaned into him once he sat down. Physical contact with his friend was part of the reason he was able to give up his stuffed toy in the first place. His attention was pulled from his thoughts, however, when Jezebeth pulled up the coloring book to show him. His smile broadened and he leaned a bit closer. "Wow, that's cool!" he said, looking at the bright colors on the page. "That's a really great idea!"It was a good way to study about the plants too - and make them a lot easier to identify. "Think I can try?"

Jezebteh gave Eno an enthusiastic nod when he asked if he could try coloring the pictures as well. If she hadn't wanted to share, she could have put her things away when he entered her room. However, she was willing to share anything with Eno. From her coloring books, her crayons, and even her lunch! She thought of most of the things she had as something she could share with Enoukn at this point.
She scooted the crayon box across the table so that Eno would have easier access to it. "Most of the pictures have the name of the plant underneath it. Then you just have to find it in one of these books!" This was fun right? She certainly had enjoyed her day so far in a similar fashion. Certainly if she enjoyed it others did as well!
Since Eno had the coloring book now Jezebeth went searching through the new books he had brought along. She hadn't read any of them yet! She picked out an interesting one about parks and flipped to the first page to dive into her new read.

Eno happily took the coloring book with a smile. "Thank you Jezzie!" He gave her a one armed hug since his other arm currently was holding a book, before grabbing the crayon's off the table and plopping onto his tummy on the floor. Spreading the books out in front of him, he turned to one of the blank pages and started to color. "Did you want to go check on the tree later? It's getting colder so I want to make sure it's staying nice and warm." He turned his head as he asked, to make sure he was looking at Jezzie. Oh right! He had one more thing to ask her too. "Oh! I wanted to write a thank you note to Mr. Corben for helping us with our tree.... Did you want to help me with that, too?" He saw no reason why she wouldn't, it was their tree after all.

Jezebeth was happy to return Eno's hug, even if just one armed. She had a book laid out in front of her anyway. She watched him lay down to color in the book and set down to read some more of her's. It was quiet for a little bit before he spoke up again. Asking about their tree.
"I would love to!" Any excuse to go outside was a good excuse to her. Yes, it was getting a little bit colder outside but that didn't bother her too much. Mr. Corben had helped them move their tree next to the greenhouse, so there were lots of other pretty plants and things for them to see when they visited their tree these days! It was their tree after all, it meant a lot to her. She tried to visit it at least once a day! Usually with Eno!
"Oh! We should definitely do that!" She set her book aside at the mention of writing a letter for the teacher that had helped them move their little sapling. He would surely appreciate that! He was worked really hard with them to move the little sapling! She dug around on the table for a note book and regular pencil.
Then she began the letter;
Dear Mr. Corben,
Thank you for helping us with our sapling in the courtyard! We really appreciate you working so hard with us to keep our sapling alive and well. We hope that it will enjoy it's new home near the greenhouse! It's very pretty over there!
Your students, Jezebeth and....
She left space for Enoukn to add to the letter and sign his name on the bottom as well. In the event she had left anything unsaid.

Enoukn was glad to hear that Jezebeth was more than happy to go and visit the tree later. It was a very important part of their friendship, he thought. The mutual bond of the tree - from him finding it, to her helping him move it with Mr. Corben - had really brought them together in a big way. Enoukn could not imagine a day where he did not spend some time with Jezzie. He did not know if she thought the same, and really he didn't mind if she did not. Once she finished her half of the note however, he perked up a bit and looked over. Taking the paper when she was done, he added the following. We have been visiting it every day! We are making sure that it grows up nice and strong! Thank you so much for your help and teaching us all the interesting things about plants. He also signed his name next to Jezzies and with a smile handed it back to her. "We should give this to him when we see him in class next? Yeah? Or maybe we can drop it by his desk?" He wasn't sure how one would get a note to a teacher.

Jezebeth peeked over Eno's shoulder, or more like around it, while he added to the letter she had wrote to Mr. Corban. He added a very nice personal touch to the letter and she nodded happily in approval as he wrapped it up. She couldn't think of what else to add to it! It showed just how much they appreciated his help with moving their tree just perfectly!
"We could give it to him after the next class!" After class always seemed like a really good time to get a hold of teachers. Sometimes there was a line of students at their desk, but it was always worth the wait to get a questioned answered or so on.
She dug around on her table a little bit more, didn't she have envelopes somewhere? When she couldn't find them on the table she moved over to the desk by her bed and opened a drawer. She dug around a little bit until she did in fact find some cute little envelopes. She wrote the teacher's name on the wrong and then carefully folded the letter so that it fit into the envelope without bending.
"There, all ready now!" She smiled and present the envelope to Eno for inspection. It looked so cute in pink and she drew a little heart in the corner for added effect. Sometimes Jezebeth could be a little girly.

Enoukn didn't mind letting Jezzie peek around him - or over him - as she was wont to do. He nodded in agreement with her statement about handing it off to Mr. Corben after their next class with him - it only made logical sense after all to do so. He leaned back a bit, resting his weight on his arms as he did so as she dug through her envelope collection to pick out the "proper" one. Granted, what she grabbed what not what he was expecting at all. He understood that Jezzie could be a bit... feminine at times, well a lot of the times really if he thought about it really hard. But he liked that about her, really. Even if he wasn't the biggest fan of pink, if she thought it was good enough then... "Yeah, that will work perfectly!" He said, sitting up a bit more to clap his hands excitedly. "I can't wait to give it to him as soon as possible!"

Occasionally Jezebeth let the fact that she was a girl be well known. In the way she colored pictures, kept her room neat, and occasionally showed off the color pink. There was a lot of simple flower print things in her room as well. Such as her lap shade and some of the pillows on her bed. However, she was much more the tomboy by spending time outdoors and digging around in the dirt. She didn't mind the rain or letting her hair get wet. What was the worst that could happen? Her hair would just get more curly.
She gently set the letter back on the table then and stared at the somewhat messy array that was her room at the moment. She'd just have to worry about cleaning it later. For now though, she was feeling some time with their tree.
"Did you want to move outside now? We can take the crayons and books with us!" Any time spent outside was a bonus for her. She didn't have to be wandering around looking at the other plants and such. Just being outside was enough. Plus, Enoukn would be there!

Enoukn did not mind Jezebeth's occasional bouts of "girl." If anything, he'd grown used to her flowery, pink, aesthetic. He didn't mind it in the least, and honestly - if she'd asked he'd of probably played house or dress-up or whatever she wanted to do. However their interests were fairly uniform and they both enjoyed the outdoors more than indoors - so they spent more time running around outside than anything else. So when she suggested that they reconvene outdoors he perked up instantly and nodded. "We should go sit by our tree and keep it company!" Enoukn suggested. After all, it was probably still trying to make friends in its new home.

Jezebeth always felt one-hundred precent comfortable being herself around Enoukn. She knew he didn't mind her girly behavior of her tom-boy behavior. They had bonded outside over a tree and since then she had always felt comfortable being around him. In fact, anymore she just liked to have him by her side. Even if she was just reading a book or they were eating lunch in the cafeteria. It was starting to become weird to not have him around honestly.
"Sounds like a good plan!" She pulled her backpack out from under the table and started to load up some of the books and her crayons. Once down she pulled the pack over her shoulder and started to march out the door. It didn't take them too long to get outside, and then from there it was just a small little trek to their tree.

Enoukn helped tidy up her room a bit as she packed up the things. He had noticed her eying the clutter - so he did his best to help out in that regard. After all - he spent more time in her room than he did his own joint one with the other freshlings. Some of the mess was bound to have been caused by him at some point. When she was ready to leave he followed her quickly, moving at a good pace with her through the halls till they made it outside. Then it was a quick beeline for their tree. Once they arrived, he sat down next to the sapling and gently touched it's small trunk. "Hello, Tree, we're here for a visit. Are you having a good day?" Enoukn asked the tree - not expecting an answer back, of course, but wanting the three to know they were there.
