UNDERNEATH IT ALL Name: Morrowgrave Personality: Dark, brooding, serious. Rough, ruthless and without mercy. Morrow cares for little and harbors a deep rage that can't quite be satisfied. History: Morrow is an older gryphon who was brought up to be dissatisfied with their current state. Angry at the gryphons of the past and finding the notion of their sacrifice a disgrace to their beings, Morrowgrave is angry at the world for forcing him to relinquish his gift of flight for a silly notion of peace. Turned cold at a young age, Morrow cares for little and works to twist minds to see as he sees. To see the mistake of the old ways and that they should remain better than all creatures. Plans: To form a pack/pride/herd/tribe/clan(thing?) of like minded gryphons. Those who are a bit 'darker' than others, revel in their former winged glory and disregard any who think otherwise. He'll probably never stop searching for a way to earn his wings back, even though it will eventually take him to the grave. (and he wont ever find a way cause not trying to break any shop rules here xD )

UNDERNEATH IT ALL Name: Borias Personality: Borias is a tough and seasoned warrior. He's not afraid of much and he's seen a lot. Underneath that tough exterior though, he's a kind-hearted guy. He has a big heart and really cares about the well being of others. He's had a rough past and he didn't always make the best choices, but he's grown and gained a new understanding of himself and his interactions with the world. History: Borias has a checkered past. As a youth, he was angry and vengeful, often throwing himself into a fight with no care as to right and wrong, simply eager for the rush of battle. He made a lot of terrible decisions and even more enemies. However, as time went on Borias began to look in at himself and the things he had done. Was this really the gryphon he wanted to be? He began a journey to find himself and try to live a better life - to use his skills to help others instead of hurt them. He still has a long way to go, but he's trying and that's have the challenge. This chapter in his life is the toughest battle he's fought yet - the battle with himself. Plans: I want him to meet lots of other gryphons and learn from them. Especially if they are sweet, patient, kind, etc. I want to grow Borias from where he is now - kind of a tough, reserved, angry fellow who is trying to be better - into a well rounded guy who is in complete control of himself and enjoys helping others. I also kind of want to make him have kids so that he can learn that whole other aspect of himself xD

UNDERNEATH IT ALL Name: Havok
Personality: No-nonsense, loud, scheming, conceited, loves violence & chaos; constantly gets in his own way, actually sucks at scheming, overthinks everything, gullible as hell
History: LONG ago (ok, not that long ago--the flock hadn't existed for even a decade, but Havok took it way seriously after he joined), there was a cloistered warrior flock that dwelled deep in the mountains. They were brutish, skilled hunters who took trophies of their prey, and were sometimes crass beyond belief. If you couldn't prove yourself, you were nothing. Whenever a Gryphon came of age there, they were called to perform a rite of passage. These rites of passage were often...violent ordeals, ranging from duels to grand hunts to assassinations to wide-scale attacks on other flocks (at least in theory). The task was dependent on whatever the Elder assigned them to. Unfortunately for Havok, the flock abruptly disbanded before he ever had the chance to prove himself--actually, before his rite of passage had even been chosen. The Elder had died, and for one reason or another the rest of the flock quickly decided to part ways (probably because they were really, really bored). Havok was the only one left, and swore to reband HIS--err, THEIR flock! And once he did, their power would grow, as would their infamy, and soon they could have the whole world trembling at their feet! BWAHAHAHAHAHAcoughcoughok so he should probably at least perform his rite of passage. He still had to prove himself worthy. But what could he do? He wasn't assigned a rite of passage in the first place. Well, that really didn't have to be an issue...he could pick his own task. (It wasn't like he wasn't smart enough, tch.) If something came up that seemed appropriate enough, he'd simply do it. SO THERE, that was his plan! (Key word was...)
Plans: His carefully decided deliciously diabolical plot (ok we both know it was probably an absolutely stupid plan that was bound to fail to begin with) will go horribly awry, nearly costing Havok his own life through a series of unfortunate accidents. NEARLY. Enter random female gryph who--twitch--saves his life. Flock code dictates that he is honor-bound to stay with her until he can save her life in return. Unfortunately the happy-go-lucky klutzy ditz is the luckiest Gryphon ever and always comes out of any hazardous situation completely and utterly unscathed (unlike Havok, who is almost always getting the short end of the stick in their misadventures). To make matters worse, she'll constantly screw up Havok's evil plans one way or another. AND he can't get rid of her because of his honor code. So he is in a perpetual state of "FML". That is, of course, until he potentially gets used to her...and maybe, just maybe, loses focus on his devious plots more and more as time goes by...

UNDERNEATH IT ALL Name: Carrion
Personality: No-nonsense, Crotchety, Brooding, Ruthless to an almost murderous extent. deep down there is a black little beating heart waiting to grow again.
History: Time has not treated Carrion well. Years of fighting, clawing, biting his way to the top he was quickly dismissed in a single evening as he was humiliated before his brethren and his love. The scars of all the fights, the wars, the brash outbursts had taken their toll and when he needed his strength the most it failed him. Just like those had failed him when they lost the gift of flight. Bitter, alone and broken, Carrion left his flock and town and headed off into the thick weird woods to find himself and find himself he did.
Years have passed and Carrion is now a young gryph's fairy tale. A story of a gryph who haunts the woods, causing bad children to disappear and wanderers meet unknown fates. Many steer clear of his woods for fear they too will go missing. For Carrion, this rumor is perfect, it leaves him alone and to brood over his love lost.
Plans: My history still needs fleshed better, there is still more I want to work on but my plan for him is for him to be a crotchety old man-bird. I hope to flesh out a few RP's of him being a crotchety old man trying to scare people out of "his woods", a few rp's with some hatchlings and eventually a RP with a new mate that will turn this crotchety old man around (but with much trial and tribulation_

That is, of course, until he potentially gets used to her...and maybe, just maybe, loses focus on his devious plots more and more as time goes by... Eskimo is our winner. This plot was so adorable and put some more depth to the character that me and Revel hands down had to go for this. I LOVE that plot idea with the adorable oblivious female too. This boy is rightfully yours. Pandorus colored and editted him. and as an added bonus: This girl was inspired by the girl in Eskis plans. I am unsure if you both want to plot together or if you'd like to go your separate ways in roleplay land. That is entirely up to you guys. We're giving this girl to Einna because her entry was a very close second. I really loved the idea of having a warrior turned softie. Both gryphon concepts had a lot of depth and that made judging hard hard. Thank you Fea and Hallu also for your entries. They were also amazing!
