Traits:
+ brainy
Howard loves his books. He is always open to learning more about any subject, at least in his opinion (see Dislikes), and he covets knowledge like a hoarder.
+ patient
Raised alongside a large number of cache children, most of whom were far more charismatic than he, Howard learned how to wait his turn without complaint or upset.
+ focused
When Howard is fully engaged in something he enjoys it is extremely difficult to pull him away. He is also very attentive when it comes to people. You'll rarely feel as though Howard isn't paying attention when you're conversing with him.
- pushover
If someone wants something enough and they're not being confrontational about it, Howard will most likely give in and get / do whatever it is they want. Sad puppy-dog eyes work wonders on him.
- homebody
Slightly jealous of those who crave adventure and actually make the effort to satisfy those cravings, Howard would still prefer to stay at home with his books. When he is unexpectedly thrust into adrenaline-pumping situations, he is prone to clinging to those he is caught with, as if he is less likely to die by simply being in close proximity to another.
- proud / biased
Howard has no problem with other races, in fact, he's happily dating a baphomet and is perfectly content in the relationship. But... if he's being honest, Howard thinks chimeras are the cream of the crop. The best. The most creative, most intelligent, most accomplished creatures in Below. He doesn't think that anyone who's not a chimera should become a janitor or anything, he just really truly loves his own race and honestly believes its members can do anything they put their minds to.
Likes:
+ debating
Howard loves a good debate, whether he wins or loses. That's probably a good thing since he tends to lose quite a lot.
+ children
A born teacher, Howard enjoys hanging around children, not only to give them life lessons but to learn from them as well.
Dislikes:
- physical activity
As is customary for his race, Howard actually has quite a bit of stamina, he simply despises testing it.
- people he deems stupid
Howard is a complete hypocrite when it comes to his mind. Even though it is quite likely that those who are not book smart know more than he does about many other subjects, he tends to view the Nightmares who don't display knowledge of the subjects he thinks are important as less than himself. Though he loves to learn, he is reluctant to do it from those he doesn't consider smart and needs to be convinced that their knowledge is just as worthy as a more academic Nightmare's.
Hobbies: reading, board games, long walks, painting (though he only rarely shows his work to anyone), exploring (within reason)
