For once Drew had permission to stay out late - at the Library. That is if, if the Librarian gave his permission as well. That would be a precarious thing to get, if he even got it, with his reputation - that is the reputation he had before he had before coming here to this city. It might be easier than he was thinking it would be, and he hoped so. He needed this time to find some hope for finding Dria. Well he was here now, at the library. He made his way in and found his way to the front desk, where he pressed the bell, and waited for service from the head librarian.

Tony poked his head out of the back room when he heard the bell, not expecting anyone this late. It was not unheard of, of course, for people to come in close to closing, but he was not really expecting it with how quiet the day had been so far.
It figured, maybe, that things would pick up right when he was hoping they would be quiet. that fit in perfectly with his luck.
He walked to the front desk with a corgi trotting along at his side, and a cat with similarly short legs walking on the other. It had to look kind of silly, really, but Tony hardly noticed any more. He always had animals with him, these days. Dogby was basically a staple of the library, and was there as often as he was. Hadaya was a new addition, but the Mauvian could not be told to stay home when he wanted to visit his books.
Offering a welcoming smile, Tony stood in front of the counter and tilted his head, greeting the new patron thoughtfully.
"Welcome to the Destiny City Central Library! Can I help you with something?"

Drew looked up at the tall muscular Librarian for a minute, and then down at his at his unusual companions, raising his eyebrows for a few seconds, before realizing that in this city nothing was unusual. He pulled himself together, and handed the Librarian the note from his father. "Sir, I'm working on a big project that requires the use of the internet. My father has given his permission for me to stay late, but only if you give yours. Here is his note." Drew hadn't read it, Dad had asked him not to, and asked him to trust him, which Drew did. The note which the Librarian would read, read, "Dear Sir, I come to you to ask you to save what is left of my family. Three years ago, my family was wealthy and well to do. I was the owner of a large company, my wife, the top engineer. We had three children; Drew, Dria, and Dani. Drew and Dria were 11 years old and identical twins; Dani was six. We were flying home from a vacation in Egypt, however, there was an emergency landing and Dria was never found. We lost everything everything trying to find her, the case went cold a year ago. Then Drew's grieving destroyed his will to live and he has been crying out in his behaviors, and to help him, we had to send Dani to an aunt's to live. My wife has given up on ever seeing Dria again. However, Drew has somehow found hope, but only in the fact that Dria may still be alive, and that he can find her. Please let him keep that hope alive, and let him stay 1-2 hours after closing to research his 'Project'. If he loses that..I fear the worst.. Sincerely, Thomas Bones

Tony looked surprised as he was handed a note, looking down at it thoughtfully. He read it quickly, trying to pretend he did not notice the way his cat was climbing up on his arm to try and read it too. Because normal cats did not read things.
Hadaya had a problem being a normal cat, as curious as he was.
Tony's eyebrows lifted in wonder at the note, glancing at the young man that had handed it to him. This was a lot to take in rather suddenly, but he supposed he had heard stranger things here. If there was one thing Destiny City had taught him, in all his time there and as a Knight, it was to trust his instincts.
He smiled and nodded his head.
"Of course, you're more than welcome to stay as long as you'd like. I was going to stay late tonight, anyway, so I don't think there's a problem." That was a bit of a lie: he had no intention of staying late, but was willing to bend his schedule to accommodate. He just had to hope his usual patrol partner did not come looking for him...
A half dragon in the library would be difficult to explain.

Drew narrowed his eyes at the cat as it seemed like it was attempting to read the note; if he wasn't mistaken this cat might be like Yumi, the talking cat that had awakened him. He was trying to decide if the cat was of the same species of Yumi (and totally missed Mr. Darrow's eyebrow raise) when Mr. Darrow agreed to it. "Thank you sir. If you do not mind, I will head for the computer lab?"

Tony smiled and nodded his head, though he did notice Drew seemed to take note of Hadaya's efforts to not be a normal cat. The little failure of a ball of fur could be a lot of trouble, sometimes, though he was generally a very sweet and loving little guy. He made up for all his problems by being adorable.
Well, that was what Hadaya liked to think, anyway. He looked at Drew, who was staring at him, and offered him a kitty smile. His forehead star was a bit of a giveaway as to what kind of a cat he was, to anyone who knew how to recognize it.
"Well, sure. The computers are just down that hall, through the glass doors at the end. There's plenty of space, and if you have any trouble, you can find me at the front desk." He was not adverse to hanging out for a bit, just to keep an eye on things. A lot of strange things happened in the library, after all, particularly after closing.

Drew smiled at the Librarian, and thanked him. Then he looked back at the cat, and immediately saw the star on his forehead. His jaw dropped slightly, realizing the truth about the species of the cat. He didn't know what kind of person or powered person that Mr. Darrow was, or what side the cat was on, but the cat was definitely a Mauvian. "Very well sir. Oh and that is one special cat, sir. I'd take good care of it, if I were you." Drew gave him a secret smile, and turned and walked off towards the computer center.

Sailor Hawk Fin I think. Sorry that took forever. The librarian watched Drew as he head off to the computers, tilting his head in wonder. Was that boy powered? A knight or a senshi, he hoped, and not someone on the Chaos side, if so. It was impossible to tell, and the glamour that protected them all kept him from thinking too hard about it.
He looked down at Hadaya, who seemed content now, and picked him up. If anyone could take better care of a cat than his family, Tony would pay to see it. Hadaya was one pampered little guy, and he knew it. But at least he was thankful for it.
Hadaya had a big family to get all the love he wanted from. What more could he hope for?
Tony returned to his own work, though, and let Drew do what he needed to in the computers. If he needed help, he knew where to find the librarian, and if not, at least he would be able to get some work done. Tony was in no hurry, after all, and was all too happy to do what he could to help.
