Sailor Thisbe had been a terrible senshi over the past four years. When the young woman that she had been taking most of her guidance from had left Destiny City she too had faded back into 'normal life'. She'd written letters to her sister, focused on her classes and done things that other 'average girls' did...

Up until she had received a text on her 'special' phone letting her know that the game was back on.

Grinning, Abigail Doyle had snatched up her henshin pen, slipping out the window of her apartment only to power up on the roof. If training sessions were going to start up again then she needed to make sure she was on her 'A' game and that meant patrolling regularly once more; starting with tonight.

Thisbe felt the small tug of another presence nearby and she paused in her roof-run long enough to draw out her phone, peering at the radar. Sure enough it showed a powered individual and she smiled, turning herself in that direction. It was a nice night to make friends... Right?

She slowed her movements as she closed in on the order signature, not wanting to startle whoever it was with her approach. Skidding to a halt on the building next to where she felt the power coming from she called out with a smile, "Evening!"

"Sailor Thisbe." The young woman reached up to lower her hood, letting it settle on her shoulders as she smiled before making a light gesture at the other senshi's hair. "Love the curls... Do all of the ruffles get in the way when you're in a scuffle? Going to be honest, the fishnets drive me nuts..."

"This old thing?" She smirked, smoothing her fingers over the front of her bodice before lightly dusting at her skirt. The steel blue fabric looked like it might have been run through the ringer once or twice, but it provided coverage, which she considered the most important part. "Let you in on a secret," Thisbe leaned in as if to share something incredibly important, "the hood's my favorite part."

Then she was rocking back on her heels slightly, glancing over at the other young woman again. "Thanks, Neph, your outfit's not so bad either. I..."

Sailor Thisbe paused, brow furrowing slightly as she tilted her head before tugging her hood back up over her blonde locks. "Feel that?"

"Senshi of Woe." She answered without thinking while trying to focus on where the energy signature was coming from. "I think it's a few buildings over... And down. We should try to catch up before it starts moving."

Thisbe was right about the 'few buildings over', but wrong about the 'down'. He had scaled a nearby building to people watch again; contemplating life, the universe and everything while playing with a deck of cards. When he felt the two auras nearing him he groaned, dusting off his jacket upon standing so that he could at least make himself presentable for whatever was coming his way.

"Honestly? I'm not that sure. From what I've noticed it just... Tends to make people scream a lot. Sometimes cry." Her brow furrowed slightly as she shook her head, taking a running leap to the next rooftop before glancing back over her shoulder. "I'd be able to give you a better answer, I'm sure, if I could use it on myself... But most of the fights I've gotten into haven't stuck around long enough to explain what I've done to them afterwards."

"Good evening, ladies." Captain Richterite called out upon hearing their voices. One day someone would teach those aligned with Order how to properly sneak up on someone. When that happened he would be worried. Until then he'd be glad for the heads up.

"Please, feel free to come closer, especially if we're discussing magic. I know a trick or two myself. Sadly, they just involve cards, but..."

"Mm... Not a fan of magic tricks, sorry." Her eyes narrowed slightly as she crossed her arms over her chest, glaring at the Nega from beneath her hood. She almost stuck her arm out in front of Nephthys to keep her from wandering any closer to him but didn't, figuring that the other young woman was smart enough to make her own decisions in that case.

"C'mon, now... Everyone likes magic tricks." He grinned as he summoned his cards from his subspace, fanning them out in his hand before collapsing them back down. "What brings you lovely ladies out this evening if not the promise of entertainment? I've never known a girl to dress up just to sit around and do nothing..."

"Well, there's one way to guarantee a change in color, you know..." He flashed her a grin that didn't quite reach his eyes as he shuffled his cards, staying mindful of the edges as he did so. They weren't sharp enough that he'd slice his fingers just playing with them, but the cards could definitely leave a mark now if thrown properly and he had been practicing. "Corruption will do that to you. Even my uniform is darker now than it was when I started out. I could show you, if you'd like? Or take you to someone who could show you. Don't know that I'd want to risk messing up your starseed on my own."


It was hard to tell from the tone of his voice whether or not he was joking and that made Thisbe nervous. "Just because he doesn't seem harmful doesn't mean he isn't. Corvus says that's how they lure you in, and that you should always be on your guard." Granted, she thought that the Eternal sometimes worried too much, but this seemed like just the kind of situation she'd been talking about.
