A tall, shiny black skyscraper owned by Richard Blackstone. A stunningly new addition to the City that seemed to have risen overnight. At least it certainly wasn't there a week ago, and there was never any issues with construction, or even memory of the building being built.
When asked, most people claim that the building has been there for months, and don't seem to think much of it.

ENTER from Fisk Towers
After a decent drive through the main part of the city, Blackstone arrived back at his building. The driver stopped just outside the main door, then drove off to the parking area once Blackstone was out. Blackstone walked inside and made his way to his temporary apartment complex and office located on the very top floor. As he made his way up, he began shuffling through his pockets to find his wallet for the pass card needed to access the very top floor.
He pulled out the small device again, and after a moment pulled out his cell phone and leather wallet. Then paused as he looked down at the three items in his hand. He had felt something else in his pocket that he thought was his cell phone, but... HIS phone was in a different pocket. He rarely carried anything else on his person.
Frowning thoughtfully, he moved to extract whatever else it was in his pockets.
Edmond had been following from not far behind and trailed Blackstone up to his office. It wasn't overly heard to sneak around the building but it still took some of Edmond's focus and so he did not notice Blackstone reaching into his pocket for the extra phone until it was too late. The Count was only a few yards behind Blackstone and the hallway was otherwise empty. If he was going to attack now would be the time. If he was going to run, now would also be the time, but he couldn't run, not while Blackstone had his phone. Instead Edmond notched an arrow and took aim at the man he had been following for too long. Edmond had trapped himself. He was in a hallways with little cover and Blackstone. It was a rookie mistake, one he could not have been making.

As Blackstone pulled out Edmond's cellphone and looked down at it, the man stopped nearly dead in his tracks. This didn't belong to him. There was no one he had spoken with today that had given him a cell phone, and he certainly hadn't gotten close enough to anyone for them to slip this into his po-
... no. Outside of the Iceberg Lounge in Gotham. The man that had run into him. And this was active right now, wasn't it?
Blackstone hadn't noticed him yet. That was good, but Blackstone would notice him if given too much time. Edmond had to think. He had the element of surprise and he could probably hit the man with at least on arrow. If he went for the spine he could paralyze him but that was a little extreme. Instead Edmond switched the arrow he had notched with one baring a tranquilizer tip. If he knocked Blackstone out he could plant a better bug on him and taker whatever Blackstone had recovered from Fisk Tower. So without sparing many more thoughts, Edmond shot the tranquilizer arrow at Blackstone's back. It was potent enough to knock out an elephant so if it hit Edmond figured it would do it's job.

Thanks. The hard part was choosing between a black and white set or the overly blue set. Blue just seem so right.

The blue looks real good. Fits pretty well with the city / comic book feel too.
It didn't take Blackstone long to decide what he was going to do. This wasn't the first time someone had planted a bug on him, and it likely wasn't going to be the last time he found an unwelcome guest at his home after discovering said bug. Unfortunately, this was the first time anyone had ever been so quick about getting inside his building unnoticed.
The arrow sank into his back, and he dropped Edmond's cell phone as he jerked in pain. He snarled and turned around to see just what had struck him. He knew what it FELT like... but who just walked around with arrows in a place like New York?
And yet, there he was. A man dressed in black holding a bow aimed at him. "You dare try to assault me in my own home?" Blackstone growled. His tone angry. And he grew angrier as he realized how relaxed his body was slowly becoming. That arrow was laced with something... and if it weren't for his magic, he would probably be out cold already. He needed to act quickly if he didn't want this man to get away with whatever it was he wanted.
Edmond growled slightly out of disappointment when he saw Blackstone still standing. Edmond notched two arrows at the same time, each with the same tranquilizing tip the first had. Blackstone had withstood one, he could survive two more. Hopefully. Still Edmond doubted that Emily would be too disappointed to hear Blackstone had died. Then again it he did meet his end Edmond would have to find another lead on the underground lab.
"To be fair- no I really don't see a way around it. Yes, I dare." With that Edmond began to back peddle as he loosed the two arrows towards Blackstone, followed by another two aimed at his feet.

Blackstone's gaze narrowed in on Edmond as the man notched more arrows aimed at him. As he let go, Blackstone jerked to the side. Far faster than he should have with the tranquilizer in his system.
In all actuality, the quick dodge was far slower than Blackstone normally would have moved with is magic aiding him. The tranquilizer was taking a noticeable toll on his reflexes. Well, it was noticeable for him at least.
Blackstone moved to duck behind a large plant vase that was in the hall for decoration. "And making an appointment to speak to me wasn't an option? You know nothing about me, do you?" he asked a he began pressing a few numbers on his own cell phone while he still had decent dexterity with his fingers. Once his phone was on and running, he sat it down in the plant. His security would be notified now within a few moments, if it hadn't been already with the security cameras in place. As an extra measure, he sat his device down behind the vase. Just in case.
"That takes a lot more time than this does." Edmond responded as he notched an explosive arrow and shot it into the ground just next to the plant. He had seen that Blackstone was fast and had the ability to turn invisible. Two abilities so far, more were likely to reveal themselves but for the moment Edmond only concerned himself with the two he knew about. The explosive arrow would draw him out from behind the plant, and when it did Blackstone would be greeted by another arrow with a much smaller explosive and a third arrow with a knockout gas tip. When that one hit, wherever it hit, it would deploy the gas on Blackstone's half of the hallway. The gas would spread to Edmond's side but Edmond had spent a few years building up a resistance to the gas. Hopefully Blackstone had not. Knowing security would be on their way now Edmond figured he had to step up his timetable.

"In that case, I can only assume you're here to try and kill me." Blackstone said as the arrow was let loose towards him. The blast nearly destroyed the plant he had taken shelter behind, and sent both is phone and security device skidding across the hallway. "If you were merely tracking me you would not have revealed yourself, and kidnapping me in m own building is just foolish." he continued, moving back as then next arrow also exploded. "I'm afraid you're going to be terribly disappointed if you've come for the first reasoning."
He was prepared for another explosion, but snarled again as he was met with gas instead. With the tranquilizer in his system, he didn't need to guess at what sort of gas was beginning to fill his hallway. And with how the hallway was set up... there was no way he could just blast a hole through the wall to let fresh air circulate inside.
Option two then..
Blackstone, running out of time, decided to reveal another one of his powers. This one, however appeared to come from one of the rings he wore on his hand. The green stone began glowing, and the floor under Blackstone began to warp and sizzle. Because the power emitted from one of his accessories, he didn't need to worry about it being delayed due to his... current condition. The floor under him melted quickly. Allowing him to fall through to the next floor. This allowed him fresh air as he fell into an empty room, but it was almost too late. He was drowsy, and his vision was beginning to spin. He also realized if it was the device the man was after, he had just abandoned it on the same floor as the assailant.
Edmond didn't respond until after Blackstone had fallen to the floor bellow. He was too focused in the moment for any smart quips. He saw Blackstone's phone go sliding across the hall along with a small device. The phone could be useful and whatever the device was, well if Blackstone wanted it that meant Edmond wanted it. Edmond jogged toward Blackstone just as he dropped through the floor. Edmond fired another arrow but this time it was aimed at his own phone which Blackstone had dropped earlier in their fight. The arrow went straight through the cellular, destroying it as Edmond scooped up Blackstone's phone and the security device. The air certainly was thicker up here which did make it harder to breath but fortunately his resistance to the gas was doing it's job.
Taking Blackstone's phone was a calculated risk. Edmond had been using his own phone to trail Blackstone so he figured the man could to the same to him. However Edmond would be able to undo any tracking that had been set of the device so it was a good chance to take. Edmond notched an arrow with an electrified tip and shot it towards Blackstone as more of a joke than anything else. "You'll have to forgive me for my lapse in judgement when I found myself trapped in a hallway with the man I was following. " After making his little quip Edmond moved over to Blackstone's phone and the security device, picking each one up and dropping them in separate pockets. Blackstone's phone in his right, the device in his left.

Blackstone jerked to dodge the arrow, but was slower about it this time. The arrow tore through his sleeve, and gave his arm a rather nice jolt as it ran across his skin. The man grit his teeth and tried to focus up towards the hole above him. Stubborn pride wasn't about to allow him to just pass out if he could help it. "You'll be finding yourself trapped in far more than just a hallway at this point, boy. Do I at least have the courtesy of knowing WHY you chose to come after me? Aside from having powers, I see know reason why anyone of this world would wish to make an enemy of me." He certainly didn't recognize the man as one of the... "heroes" of his world. And no basic hired help of the underworld, or even anyone of a higher status would DARE try a stunt like this.
Edmond knelt down beside the large hole that separated him from Blackstone. There wasn't really any reason to lie at this point but giving the entire truth may not have been advantageous. "I've been trapped in stranger places. They were underground though and it was a lab not a tower. Long hallways, odd experiments walls made by illusion. I got out of there, your building won't be much more difficult. " Edmond figured he could try to alleviate some of the hostility with humor. It was something new that he was trying and he only really tried it when he didn't feel threatened. It was a nice break from his otherwise cold and calculated approach to crime fighting. He looked at his bow for a moment before answering Blackstone's question."You had information I wanted. Information I doubt you would have willingly given up. Now you won't have a choice."

"And just what sort of information would you be referring to? Other than the trips I have made today to find out information that I myself needed, I have made no connections or business with anyone of interest. I have kept to myself up until now. I doubt there was anything you needed that I wouldn't have given up for a price." Blackstone said, trying to keep himself standing straight. It was a bit of a lie.. but he really hadn't taken the time to get to know anyone outside his immediate circle. The only reason he had taken action recently was after hearing about his estranged wife's recent... escapades.
"As for my data collector... that would be useless to you until I see it for myself. Only my technology is capable of opening it."
Though... if he knew just who the Count had as a friend, he'd probably be more worried about loosing it. Emily DID have the home world advanced technology to be able to crack open the files.
"Don't worry about how I will crack it, just rest assured that I will. I have a friend who is pretty good with these things." Edmond explained as he looked towards the end of the hallway. Security was coming. He could hear them but he still had a little time. Looking back down towards Blackstone, Edmond continued "It's unfortunate really. That we had to stand on opposing sides. Given how much of your aid I will probably need to stop the people I am trying to stop. Still we are but instruments of fate. Fate put us against each other maybe later on fate will put us on the same side. I figure I should at least give you the chance to be honest. " Edmond paused, only a slight pause though. Perhaps the gas was getting to him, he was beginning to feel a little light headed and he was guarding his words with less care. "What do you know about the Underground Exhibit?"
