Faction: Ghost
Race: Hivemind Ghosts tend to collect and overlord small creatures (insects being the most prevalent case), converting them in some way with their natural FEAR to make them part of themselves. Extremely powerful Hivemind Ghosts don't even have to convert them anymore and simply exude a natural control (SEE: Hi Cricket.)

Natural Ability: Control- 99% of Hivemind Ghosts have a control over a personal group of insects (the other 1% use something else) that make up their bodies and as such are able to use them to 'extend' their bodies as an extra pair of eyes/ears/etc. This means they're able to actually pull themselves apart and put themselves back together. Cordyceps' does this in the way that her namesake would imply..which would explain why mother doesn't love her. /Single Tear


Personality:
It is painfully obvious at one glance to tell where Cordyceps came from - or rather who. The similarities in appearance between mother and daughter could be spotted 12 miles away by a blind person. What isn't obvious is where in the twelve living circles of jack-o-lantern-hell Cordyceps came from. Anybody who knows Cricket worth her pinch of salt knows how she feels about babies and reproduction so the idea Cricket actually spawned in some way seems completely out of character.

On top of that, Cordyceps will state rather flatly that she doesn't have a father (or second mother) as far as she knows, so the nature of 'where and how' is a secret Cricket will take to her (actual) grave while she avoids the living hell out of Cordyceps and pretends she doesn't exist in any capacity. Who are you talking about?

That said, despite rampant rejection issues she doesn't actually have, Cordyceps is extremely well adjusted for a teenager handling life on her own and throwing rocks at Cricket's window at 2 in the morning to get the older Ghost's attention (and failing, there are now bars over those windows, sigh.). Any nightbirds of Amityville have probably seen her getting chased off of school grounds by the Groundsman quite a few times at this point.

When not trying to get Cricket's attention, Cordyceps doesn't even mention the older Ghost (unless someone else brings her up).

If there wasn't a size difference and some obvious physical differences between the two, Cordyceps' different personality would likely cause some massive confusion.

Where Cricket is cynical, blunt, and very sarcastic, Cordyceps is helpful, friendly, and...very sarcastic. Perhaps not as far a fall from the family tree as one would expect.


Job/Business: Cordyceps works at a mushroom farm where those bloomin' high-priced fancy minipet owners who ONLY WANT THE BEST get their stupid mushrooms from called 'Spores N' Mores'. She's actually extremely good at this job. Probably from being part fungus.


Personal History: Cordyceps has no idea how she came into being, as there are no records of pumpkin spawning involving Cricket, but it is impossible for her to not know who her mother is while living in Amityville.


FEAR Ability: Swift Strikes - THE SWARM - Lots of bugs, lots of biting, lots of tears.


Physical Description:

Eye Colour: White
Hair Colour/Style: Long, White, Glowing, and Curly. Often back in ponytails or braids.
Skin Colour: Translucent and green with pale glowing markings that snake across it as though alive in the shape of insects and amoebas.
Clothing Style/Colours: Work gloves, overalls, plaid shirt. All 2 spoopy but functional for working on a farm.
Extra: Cordyceps has fungus growing up along her sides, over her shoulders, and around her neck in a rather fashionable looking manner.
