Kya was sitting outside of her den. The older wild dog was happy. Her most recent litter was pretty well fully grown and doing well. Two of her sons had already left home for a pack they had found. Kya was a little sad to see them go but understood the pull of wanting to be in a pack. She would go and visit them from time to time.

Kya wasn't unrealistic in her dreams, she very much wanted her babies to stay with her forever but she knew that they would all need their own lives. Most of her first litter had done just that, all that was left now was Konane. Kya worried about her eldest daughter, she worried there her fair pelted daughter was living life for herself.

Konane lead the way down the trail she had beaten down over time going to watch for Zha, to wait and wish that that night would be the night he returned. She smiled to herself a little, this would likely be the last time she went down this trail. He had come finally and now she knew that he wanted more just like her.

First thing first however, she needed Zha to meet her mom. It was only once she had her mother's approval did she think she would be able to leave. She looked back over her shoulder to chack and make sure Zha was still behind her still following, still willing to meet her mom.

Zhangzi was right behind the pale female to whom he hoped to one day call his. Though he was most certain they were on that course already. It just wasn't anything that had been said aloud, minus him saying he wanted her to come back to his pack with him. He truly wanted that, more than anything.

He was walking at a leisurely place, mainly because he had been traveling for quite some time now and was very excited to get back to his pack. Though he knew he could make it a couple more hours so that he may meet the female who had given birth to such a wonderful daughter. Hopefully he didn't look too rugged.

He noticed how she kept looking back and he wondered if pehaps she thought he might up and vanish? He smiled at the thought, of course he wouldn't leave, that would be in such bad form and poor taste. As they came down the slope he spotted a female dog not to far ahead, he wondered if that was her and picked up his pace a tad so that he would approach at her side.

Just as Kya turned her head to look down the path she knew Konane took every night she saw her silver daughter heading her way. Kya smjled at the sight, she and her daughter were very close and Kya had been growing more and more worried about her as went to wait for a male that never seemed to show.

Kya`s smile slipped into a shocked expression when she saw a male wild dog coming up the path behind Konane. She caught herself quickly though and put her smile back on. Her thoughts were racing though.... could this be the elusive male her daughter had been pining over?

As she broke through the tree line and saw her mom there Konane's stomach started to do flips. She was excited to introduce her mom to Zha but so very nervous to at the same time. She slowed he'd pace slightly so that Zha could catch up and walk beside her.

She was grinning ear to ear by the time she made it up to her mother. She was happy that no one else was around right now. Zah could meet everyone else later right now sh just wanted her mom to meet him.

"Mom this is Zah, Zah this is my mom." She introduced them proudly.

He glanced over at the beaming female at his side and then turned his gaze over to her mother. "Good evening. I'm sorry if I've been keeping your daughter out late. It's a pleasure to meet you...?" Konane didn't exactly state her name and didn't want to call her mom on the first meeting.

There were many things that were going through his mind right now, but all of them were happy thoughts. He gave her a warm smile that radiated his emotions perfectly.

Kya looked between the couple after the approached her, the older wild dog could already see an attraction between them. She couldn't help but smile she had feared her daughter would never find someone to be her other half.

"Hello Zah its a pleasure to meet you. My name is Kya." Kya hadn't been concerned about her daughter out late, she knee Konane was an adult and could do as she pleased.

Konane swivelled her head between her mom and the male she had brought home. She was happy that she had such warm mother. She knew that Kya would her be mean to someone but she also could yell her mom genuinely liked Zha, which was something incredibly important to Konane, she would never be able to leave without her mother's approval.

"Mom, I think I would like to go to Zha's pride and see what it is like." Konane said timidly she had never bee away from her mom. This wasn't going to be easy for her but she was realizing that she needed to get out there.

He could see how well this was going to go. Mom meets him they say hi and daughter tells mom she's leaving with guy she really doesn't know well. His face remained full of smiles though as he bowed his head as she introduced herself. "It's a pleasure Kya."

And just as he suspected the second the formalities were out of the way the bomb was dropped and he was literally in the middle. He gave Kya one of his best grins and hoped for the best. Though, he could add something. "It's not to far from here and she doesn't have to stay is she doesn't like it there. And if she decides to stay you can visit whenever you like."

Kya couldn't help but chuckle softly at the males clear worries. She had always known that Konane would move on and have a life without her, and infact it was something Kya had hoped for her daughter. All her other children had long since moved on in life and found themselves a home here or there.

She eyed her daughter closely wanting to make sure she was reading all her emotions correctly. "You know Konane no matter what you do in life that you will always have my blessing." she answered quietly speaking to her daughter directly.

Konane let out an autiable sigh of releif, she had known on some level that her mom would encourage her to go but that didn't make telling her any easier.

"Zah's right momma, no matter if I stay there or not permanently I will always come back and visit you." Konane had litterally spent her whole life at her mothers side and now that it was clear that she would be moving on the silver wild dog felt her stomach doing flipps.... suddenly she was having doubts was this really a good idea?

He was happy she had such a tender and loving mother, he knew she would be the same when she had pups of her own. "Your mother would be more than welcome to come join as well. The pack is always looking for more members and I think you'd both be a fine addition." He said with a smile leaving the offer there if she wanted it.Perhaps it would also easy her nervousness. He could tell she was having doubts.

Kya smiled pleased to see Zha was so willing to have her oin his home. He seemed the type that wanted family around. He was exactly the type of male Kya had always kind of male she had always hoped her daughter would find.

"Thank you for you kind offer Zha, but I am quite happy living her. I had my time in a pack and it was good but now I have fallen in love with my little forest here. I will be sure to visit if Konane does decide to stay in the pride though." Kya said softly. "And Konnae you know if you choose to live there doesn't mean that we won't always be here for you and for you both to visit." Kya's eyes were shinning her emotions building she was happy to finally se Konane getting out into the world and living life for herself.

Konane was grinning from ear to ear. She wasn't sure if she was going to like lviing away from her mother but she did want to investigate life with Zha a little. "I wont be gone long I am just going to check it out for now." Konane said leaning in and giving her mom a kiss on the cheek.

"I will be back in a few days." she said. Her excitment almost bursting with excitement. She turned to Zha "I'm all ready lead the way." she told him.

He wasn't going to press the matter, plus she lived close enough that it wouldn't be an issue for the two to visit one another if she got homesick. Even if Konane didn't want to stay in the pack he was more than willing to travel to see her.

He watched the exchange between the two and wondered if when the day came that he had pups of his own of they would be close like these two were. He wasn't overly close to his parents or even his siblings. He gave her a grin as she turned to him and said she was ready. Alright, so it begins. "Right this way, and perhaps we shall see each other again soon." He stated to her mother with a bow of his head as he turned and led her towards his home.
