Rajni was assigned to once again wander the wastes that lurked outside of the apartment. Today she wasn't really feeling it- she'd caught a slight cold from the last time she'd been out and it still hadn't gone away. It wasn't like the time before zombies where she could call in sick, curl up in bed with a glass of orange juice, a bucket of soup and a lot of poetry books. Now you would be lucky to find a packet of cold medicine, let alone a glass of orange juice or something so specific as soup. Maybe she could talk to Zelda about it later if it got really bad, but the general consensus she'd picked up was that you carried your own weight no matter what.
She got a look for going out the door with such a sniveling, snotty face, but she only waved the concerned guards away. "I will be fine. Do not worry about me."
Even with a stuffy head, she didn't have it so bad as vomitting or headaches at least. She vaguely debated getting Mel or Fantasia to come with her to look after her, but then she figured the faster she went and did it the faster it would get done.

Rajni stalked out the door, pulling the scarf closer to her chin and trying to keep as much warmth in as possible. Canada was freaking cold and she was sick and it was just altogether a not fun time.
Now it seemed like they had been pushed to the very edge of the boundaries of the apartments faction. Supplies had been running lower and lower and lately Rajni felt like they were possibly running out of space. She gazed at the enormous walls keeping them contained within the city.
Rajni normally tried very hard not to focus on the dilemma at hand or what lie outside of the wall (freedom? More zombies- no, don't think about it). It just distracted her from her duties here, and left her with a lingering sense of hope that wasn't helpful to anyone. Just focus on surviving, that was what she thought.
In the first house she examined, she found not one but five aero bars. Aero bars were like liquid gold in the apocalypse; chocolate wasn't as valuable as something like a shotgun or water, but it was still a rarity and quite frankly? A delicacy. It was a small bit of pep to the end of one's horribly dreary day.
Then she found two plain sweaters, which she considered pretty sweet. All in all it was a good day.
