■ INQUISITIVE I'm curious... I tend to be pretty inquisitive about people and the world in general. I like to read… I read a lot. If I know it I probably read it in a book. Though I guess my curiosity also helps with my learning.
■ CREATIVE I have an active imagination. A reason I like writing. That's where my creativity shines through. I like thinking outside of the box sometimes. Though I promise it's nothing too weird.
■ FRIENDLY I’m a friendly sort. I love making friends and being around people. Odd right…? A person that likes to read constantly and likes to socialize. Seriously though the more friends the better life is.
■ TALKATIVE I’ve been told I’m very talkative and some even say I never shut up. I tend to babble and go on and on. So I guess if you don’t like a talker then you might not like me, which is sad but I guess it’s understandable. I also tend to slip into Irish when I'm excited though I'll happily translate for you. Don't worry to much though I tend to catch myself when I do it.
■ SENSITIVE Secretly I'm a very sensitive person. I'm afraid of rejection so I don't tell anyone how I really feel. I keep things from the past inside... So I never get it off my chest. Getting close to anyone means I'm more likely to get hurt. Like when I lost my parents... Though I'm not against getting close to anyone. I just can't figure out how to do it without getting a big let down in the end.

CHILDHOOD I was given up for adoption upon birth. Being given away to the Vann family I lived a pretty average life. Loving parents, friends, a school life with good grades, and everything I could possibly ask for. However I always knew something was missing, like I wasn’t really related to the people I called mom and dad. When I turned nine and started show signs of magic that fact became even more apparent to me. When I tried to tell my parents both of them said it was just my active imagination. At first I believed them but given my curious nature I started to wonder about it more.
Why was it, no one else saw what I saw or believed what I believed? Suddenly with my curiosity I started to dig around. Looking at photos and other things that could give me clues to the answers I was looking for. After a while of searching, I decided to ask my parents the unavoidable question… was I adopted? Hesitate at first they explained that I was in fact adopted and that my mother left me in their care. However they didn’t know where she was now.
I wanted to find her but my parents were skeptical. Despite that they decided to help me locate her. However on our way to one of our stops in search for records we got into a car accident. That’s when I had my second run in with magic. I managed to come out of the accident with only a couple scratches but my parents weren’t so lucky…
I was left alone and sent to an adoption centre. I wasn’t sure what was going to happen but after a few months I started to suspect that I was going to be adopted by another family. I didn’t want that so I snuck out of the building in search for my mom. Granted I didn’t know anything about her aside from her name and a vague description of what she looked like. A day or two later I ran into a brunette that seemed concerned that I was on the street alone with no one.
When she asked me where I lived I lied and told her I didn’t have a home. I didn’t want to go to back to the adoption centre they’d send me away somewhere. Introducing herself as Isabelle I wondered if she could be the same one. I told her my name and that I was her son. I don’t know if she believed me but she took me to her place. We talked about a lot of things including magic (she believed me)… after a while I decided to tell her that I ran away from the centre. She told me I needed to go back there which I knew she was right but I didn’t want too. I’d found my mom I didn’t want to lose her again.
Going back with her they asked Isabelle what her name was. After she gave it they confirmed that she was the one mentioned in the will. It was explained to me afterwards that she’d be taking care of me from now on. That certainly sounded better than being taken by some stranger. I stayed with her for a year with visits from case workers and then they were completely out of the picture. About a year after that (I guess) I received a letter in the mail informing me I was accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. That’s when we decided we were going to move to England so that we could be closer to my new school. So, leaving Ireland we made it to England and landed on my Aunt and Uncle’s doorstep. Apparently we’ll be staying here until we find a place of our own. I can’t wait to go to school… I really can’t…

That's what the sorting hat said. It was great because I ended up with one of my friends, Feather. She only one friend I made during my time at Hogwarts. There was also Lyall who I met in Diagon Alley before the school year started, Tori, and Rider. I even managed to make friends out of Dmitri, Pru, and Addison. Then there was Dmitri’s sister Maisie but I don’t think we made it to friendship level, more like acquaintances. Aside from all the friends I made learned flying wasn’t my thing.
First year I attended the Yule Ball. I took Feather as my date, she was really pretty. It was surprise fun we hanged out with friends and had a great time. Second year, my cousin Grace came to school and joined me in Ravenclaw. That was also the year my cousin Mira started dating Timothy, another member of my house. Third year was electives. I took so many great ones. I absolutely loved all of them, especially world studies. I can't say anything eventful happened except at the end of the year when neo-death eaters came to Hogsmeade. I was one of the lucky ones to get on the train when all the fighting started. I huddled on the ground in one of the compartments until the train got out of the station. Once I made it to the platform in London I practically tackled my mum. Was, I ever happy to see her.
That summer we got a new place of our own. Though we spend the first few weeks at the hospital worrying about Grace, she’s been hit during the attack. Luckily she recovered in time for her sister’s wedding. I have to admit my cousin Leo’s wedding certainly helped to keep my mind off things. I hardly left the house because of how scared I was for neo-death eaters to show up. Come fourth year it took my cousin Grace to keep me from having a panic attack on the return trip. I avoided Hogsmeade for most of that year.
At the end of forth year Tori asked me on a date. I was shocked at first but I agreed. That summer we went to dinner and the movies. Fifth year rolled along and I became Prefect. My cousin David got married and my cousin Leo had her first baby. Examinations went well I thought, didn’t do so well in potions but everything else I managed fine. Heading into the summer I brought Tori to the family reunion. Everyone seemed to like her I think… Though there was a fight between Chloe and David I don’t know about. After that I got an unexpected visit from Feather. She told me she liked me and I felt like an idiot thinking she won’t have a problem with me being with Tori.
Sixth year I spent the first few weeks thinking about what to do. I seemed to mostly think about Feather. Even seeing Tori with another guy didn’t bother me. I realized then my heart wasn't in the relationship, so Tori and I broke things off. Luckily it was on good terms. After sorting out my feelings for the year, Feather and I finally went on a date that summer. We had ice cream and made things official. Coming into seventh year things were great. I had a new girlfriend and all I had to worry about was my final exams. Sadly some classes got cut and I had to lose world studies. With the loss of two classes I managed to come away with my lowest grades being Astronomy and Alchemy. With two acceptable grades as my lowest I think my Hogwarts days were a totally success.
POST GRADUATION With school years done, I've started writing. I even told my mum about my plans to move back to Ireland. I even told Feather. She was supposed to move in but things happened and we went our separate ways. Since telling everyone I've gotten a place (it's not much but it's home) I've been keeping busy. I haven't published anything yet but I'm trying to get something going. I still visit my mum every once in a while. She's pretty lonely without me around if you ask me.
When the 2038 school year started up I stopped by Floursh and Blotts. My mum owns the place now. While out and about I met Cordelia a former Hufflepuff two years below me. We began hanging out a lot and became good friends as a result. I invited her to my cousin’s wedding kind of as a date. Despite our differences I really like hanging out with her. During the 2039 summer after the wedding I found out my aunt and uncle were killed. I decided to stay in town with my mother for a while. Hopefully I can see Cordelia while I’m in the neighbourhood. Not that distance is a problem for us.
Since the lose of my aunt and uncle I managed to attend a wedding with Cordelia and we even made it official. It’s nice to finally have someone that although might be different from me likes me for me. After a while we moved in with each other. Soon after that we were expecting. So I popped the question and we were getting married. On May 12, 2046 we tied the knot. Once summer hit we were blessed with a baby girl we named Noreen or Nora for short. A few years later Cora and I decided to try for another baby. On August 29, 2050 we were given our son James.
Several years later Cora applied to be head of her department, I was super proud of her. I managed to write my first book called 'Standing Still'. Big accomplishment there for me. I also tried my hand at writing a children's book called 'Don't go There', it was meant more to teach my kids what was and wasn't safe for them to get into. Recently (summer 2056) my mum told me that she was going to give me the shop. I wasn't sure about how I felt running Flourish and Blotts but I always did love the store. Aside from my work ventures, my son decided he was going to break or stove and my daughter decided to turn her dress tie dye. One was clearly a bigger expense then the other but kids will be kids.
SIDE NOTE
■ I’ve blamed myself for my parents death but I know it really wasn’t my fault. I just feel being magic I should have been able to save them… but I guess magic can’t do that…

ISABELLE CLARISSE : Hufflepuff, Class of 2004 "Flourish and Blotts Shop Assistant"
I never knew she was my mother until after the Vann's passed away. I was at an orphanage in Northern Ireland when I found out they weren't my real parents and I was adopted. When I managed to find her that's when I remained with her and we've been together ever since. She's super nice and I hope I never lose her like I did my adoptive parents.

I stayed with my uncle for a bit. He was fun to be around. I talked a lot with him and he didn't mind my talkative habits.

Cousin, daughter of George and Jessica. She married David Avery. I'm not super close to her but she did introduce me to David. She looked out for me and Grace before she graduated that's for sure. I mean she made sure I got on the train on my first few years, so I owe her that much.

Cousin, daughter of George and Jessica. I've never been close to Mira. She doesn't really bother to give me the time of day and she always has something to say to me to get under my skin. Maybe I'm just looking into it too much but it gets annoying sometimes.

Cousin, daughter of George and Jessica. Grace is probably the one I hang with the most. We see things in a similar way I suppose. Plus she's fun to talk too. We do our homework together and stuff like that when we're in school but other then that it's just great spending time with her.

I'd have to say Lyall is my first friend. We met at Diagon Alley before school started when we went to get our wands. We've been friends since then although I spend more time it seems with my housemates. I really need to hang out with him more. He's a great guy honestly and it sucks I don't have enough time in the day. Good thing all my friends are friends with each other.

A classmate of mine. I met her at the beginning of the year and soon became friends with her. She and Lyall I think are pretty close. She's nice probably like most Hufflepuffs. I heard her sister is coming to Hogwarts too.

Since first year I've kind of liked Feather. I mean she's probably my best friend who's a girl anyways. I guess I could say I have a bit of a crush. It wasn't until after I spent a year with Tori that I found out that Feather felt the same. We started dating the summer before our final year.

I met Tori in my first year thanks to Feather and Lyall. She was always upbeat and happy which I like about her. She's always so outgoing I never thought about the vulnerable side of her. It wasn't until the end of fourth year when she asked me on a date that I realized she did have two sides. It was then that I started to consider her more then just a friend. We dated for a year but then I realized my heart was somewhere else. Luckily the two of us broke things off and remained friends.

My best buddy and housemate. Dmitri at first didn't really talk much to anyone. In fact it seemed like he didn't think anyone was worth talking too. Though when I finally got through to him, I realized that we would be pretty good friends. We spend most of the school year together and I make sure to spend sometime with him over the holiday.

I met Pru I guess officially during the carriage ride of second year. We're in the same year but she's in Gryffindor so I never really got to met her until later on. I'll admit she's a pretty cool person and I've seen her around the pet shop where her mother works or should I say owns.

Addison is pretty close with Pru which is the whole reason I met him. I don't really know him all that well but I know his sister was sorted into Hufflepuff. He and Pru are dating which I guess makes us sort of friends?
