■ OUTSPOKEN John had always been a social person despite enjoying a nice book and a bit of hot coco. Regardless of that he tends to say what's on his mind when the opportunity arises. Not saying he'll say anything bad since he does thing before he speaks just he tends to give his honest opinion when asked for it.
■ ABSENT-MINDED Now John is not necessarily absent-minded in life but he is when it comes to conversation. He has a habit of going off topic when conversing. However because of this he always has a story to tell and even if the situation doesn't call for it he'd be more then happy to share one with you.
■ STUDIOUS As mentioned before John loves to read. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that he likes to study a lot. Ever since he was a kid in school he studied to make sure he had good grades. However, when school wasn't in the equation he studied his own personal interests. No matter what the topic he likes to make sure he's up to date on things. Be sure that if he doesn't know something he will look it up.
■ HARKWORKING John's study habits derived from his work ethic. Always wanting to prove himself to others, he doesn't slack when a job is put in front of him. Getting it done swiftly and with accuracy.
■ CLEVER Since the former Ravenclaw was a kid he was a smart boy. Learning everything he could before he had too. When it came to a certain brunette in his year he couldn't help but pretend to need help on his lessons as a clever means to get her attention. He even joined the Quidditch team for the same reason... Of course at the end of the day John was always accident prone and Qudditch probably wasn't the smartest idea with that in mind.
■ FAIRLY LAID BACK Simply put he was never the type to worry about things. Having kids, Johnathan learned that he had to just go with the flow. With his son David who used to constantly play pranks on the neighbours, he learned not to completely lose it but still be a stern parent when the need arouse.

CHILDHOOD John was born in your typical wizarding family. He had fun hanging with his siblings and like every boy who loved quidditch even pretended to be a champion flyer. However like an average child that was soon to be off to Hogwarts and sorted into the house that suited him the most he loved to have his head buried in a book. Yes he was placed in Ravenclaw the day he started his schooling.
SCHOOL YEARS John couldn't have been happier when he was placed in Ravenclaw because that was when he met his girlfriend and wife Mary. She was everything to him and it was that reason he tried out of the house team. He even managed to get her to help him with his studies by making it look like he needed the help. Mary knew right away he was only doing it to get her attention. So calling him out on it they became friends for the rest of the time they were at Hogwarts and then some.
POST GRADUATION Once they graduated John shortly after that asked for her to move in with him. It wasn't long after that they got married and had kids. Starting a family John was happy to be with Mary and wouldn't change a thing. Seeing his children succeed he's currently helping his sister find a place of her own now that she has a job. Though he insists it's no big deal she stay with him and his wife. Now with an empty nest John plans on spending a lot of time with Mary.
2032 : His son finally married Shayna. Happy for the both of them he's glad David finally ended up with some much like he did. They even gave him a grandson a year later. The following year after that Chloe adopted Enid giving him and his wife a grand daughter.
2039 : His daughter married in the spring. It was one of the best days of his life. Which was good because that summer while hanging with his son and grandson, he and his wife were killed.

MARY JANE CLARISSE : Ravenclaw, Class of 2003 "Healer - Potions and Plant Poisoning"
John's wife and love since his first year of Hogwarts. Not to mention his best friend. After faking failure and breaking his neck at Quidditch the two started dating. After graduating they moved in together, got married, and had two kids Chloe and David.
CHLOE CLARISSE : Hufflepuff, Class of 2026 "Werewolf Support Employee"
John's daughter and the one who desperately wanted to be in Ravenclaw. Despite her sorting he was proud of her. She stayed out of trouble and focused on her studies which is more then he could say about her brother. Though he'll never pick favourites.
DAVID CLARISSE : Gryffindor, Class of 2027 "Auror"
The troublesome son when he was a boy. John honestly couldn't stand the pranking David would do all the time. Where he got it from John had absolutely no idea. Luckily when he met Shayna that behaviour disappeared and his son grew up. John approves of David's choices, however he has yet to find out that his son is a werewolf (the one thing he fears)
JESSICA MITCHELL : Ravenclaw, Class of 2004 (Deceased)
One of his youngest sisters, she married George Mitchell and thanks to her he got close with George. After she had three beautiful girls, she sadly dead giving birth to the youngest Grace. John misses her although he knows not at much as George.
GEORGE MITCHELL : Gryffindor, Class of 2002 "Muggle Liaison Office"
His Brother in-law through Jess. Once George got with Jessica the two became quick friends. Their friendship grew even after Jessica's passing. Still to this day the two are in constant contact with one another. Always checking up on how things are going. Those family reunions are always a blast together.
LEONETTE AVERY : Gryffindor, Class of 2030 "House Elf Relocation"
Niece, daughter of George and Jessica. Married David Avery. He always felt Leo grew up too fast. However he never wanted to say anything to George. Seeing a lot of her father in her, Johnathan knew that her and David got along well. Honestly he's just happy that Leo managed to find happiness.
MIRA MITCHELL : Slytherin, Class of 2033 "Potioneer"
Niece, daughter of George and Jessica. John always saw a troubled young girl when it came to Mira. Her sorting was even more interesting as she was the first Slytherin among the family. Regardless of how things turned out John is glad to see she's turned her relationship with her sisters around.
GRACE MITCHELL : Ravenclaw, Class of 2035 "Potioneer"
Niece, daughter of George and Jessica. John had always felt sorry for Grace as she never knew Jessica like Leo or Mira. He saw a lot of his sister in her which always brought a smile to his face. He noticed that Chloe and her were always pretty close which was nice to see.
ISABELLE CLARISSE : Hufflepuff, Class of 2004 "Flourish and Blotts - Shop Assistant"
John's younger sister. He knew she never got sorted the way she wanted. However he knew it was right for her. After school she travelled a lot which John wasn't always sure about. He always wanted her close by but she never did. It wasn't until Dakota came back into her life that she moved back to England. When she did though John had no problem helping her out with a place to stay until she was settled back in.
DAKOTA VANN : Ravenclaw, Class of 2034 "Writer"
Nephew, son of Isabelle. John see's a lot of smarts in Dakota. He never caused trouble and just loved to write. It was nice having him around even if he spent more time with Grace then he did at his place anyway. Despite him moving out recently John is always happy to see the young kid. Secretly he wishes David had of been like Kota at a young age.
