While much of the Tea Garden's Party festival is winding lush gardens and decorated lanterns full of Flowers, quiet music and guests enjoying cups of tea over gentle conversations, as one nears the eastern edge of the garden, jovial music, laughter, cheering and... The sound of fighting?
At the edge of the garden, the neighboring field has been taken over By an invading army.
Or so it seems: these 'soldiers' have been mostly enjoying mock battles in the garden with regular breaks for tea and refreshments, sparring for the entertainment of others and in their part of the garden and letting foals challenge them to battle and actively losing to the little ones with over dramatic and campy behavior. However, some of the reenactors of the "Great Lapsang War" take their trade rather seriously, and stay in steely character.
However, mostly, it is a Faire hosted by a traveling troupe of entertainers, historians, merchants and revelers . "War tents" Are filled with merchants, hocking their wares, many familiars taking advantage of the situation to sell teas, herbs, and spices as well as prepared foods and beverages and accessories, while jugglers are sometimes seen juggling tea cups and spoons.

Notes
-You can Proxy for ONE person in a separate post. If you are caught proxying/entering with one of your mules to double your chances you will get blacklisted from the event. -You MUST have at least one pet in your preferences: If you just say "CC" or something, we'll re-roll rather than put you at the end of the list/hold a spot and wait for you to choose. - Tea like drinks (For non tea drinkers) are things like Coffee, Hot Chocolate, hot apple cider (Spiced/not spiced), Long Island Iced Tea (an alcoholic drink with no tea), mulled wine, etc -Your likes are not a way to get a custom: Don't expect it to have everything in it or even follow it the whole way. I will avoid your dislikes, but if I cant work with the likes I wont.

Name and Description of your favorite Tea/tea like drink: I don't have an absolute favorite tea or tea like drink. because i love so many of them for different reasons and situations. However i will say that tea is like a powerful ritual for me. it gives me the energy i need in the morning and puts me at ease at night. However in a deserted island situation were I could only bring one tea to last till the end of forever I would say. White peony tea. It's fabulous! Additionally each steeping of the leaves tastes a little different than the last. For example the first steeping to me tastes very floral and strong. Where as the second and third taste more like a light oolong.
Likes: -Tans/n***s/creams -Metallic gold accents or details (small markings or filigree on things not solid gold armor etc), -Fangs, -Glowing eyes -Asian flare -Armor (shin guards, helmets etc) -Edited expressions -warrior types -stallions

I've been brought up with it because I'm from the UK and it's something that's always offered wherever you go, someone's house, a meeting, hairdressers, etc etc. So much tea will be drank in one day. smile
Likes: Tea parties, scones, jam and clotted cream, Victoria sponge cake, mad hatters, tea pot steam, tea / coffee painting, wings, horns, light armour, feathers, claws, paws, Kirin hooves, expression edits, Asian flare inspired ponies (such as these) the relaxed warm feeling you get from getting a hot drink on a cold day
Dislikes: aquatics (smoke under water would look weird...but smoke on the water might be just okay. ;D )

Name and Description of your favorite Tea/tea like drink: I'm pretty much exclusively a peppermint tea drinker during the winter. Sometimes straight and sometimes with milk and sweetener, always hot. I have been know to splurge on loose leaf Moroccan mint leaves.

Name and Description of your favorite Tea/tea like drink: Sun Tea! It's a type of iced tea steeped on a sunny day in a clear container over a period of 3-4 hours. The long steeping time at lower temperatures results in a super smooth flavor that's perfect for a sweet treat. I always use Red Rose Tea with a generous amount of sugar added for sweetness. (And nothing else. I'm not a huge fan of lemon in my iced tea!)
